Going to be harvesting the plants this week. I've been flushing the hydro plants with water and FloraKleen but flushing the coco plants with water and blackstrap molasses, excited to see the difference. I am trying the 24 hours of darkness before cutting them down, this will be my first time doing this but again, I'm excited to try new things and find my growing style. Took the plants out to breathe and took some pics of the BW's and the clones. More to come ***Cut the plants down on day 60 of Flower. I think I could have spread the harvest out over the week but my tent doubles as my drying tent. 😂 I will post my final harvest once my buds are fully manicured and ready for jars.

Day 43 - Had a full water change and now running RO ( Reverse Osmosis) Water. Not topped up any nutrients yet just straight RO water as I've defoliated the girls and took off a lot of the excess foliage and sites i thought won't be getting much light. The reason for not adding nutrients straight away was because they have already had a bit of stress due to defoliation and them trying to uptake nutrients at certain temperature ranges and pH will add to it. So just RO water pH'd to about 5.7/5.8. After 12-24 hours have passed I'll add nutrients again. Smells very strong in here now and getting paranoid lol. They grow by the day and get frostier each time i open the tent. Until the next time people. Day 45 - close up bud shot of one of the girls lowers and a few colas. Girls seem to be happy with the RO water which makes me feel as though i should of been running it earlier for sure. EC has dropped, so i know the girls are feeding uptaking nutrients. Timing seems about right. The current flowering plants are finishing so these will be in flower within two weeks. From all that I've learned this grow (being my first DWC), I plan on carrying on with a combination of organics and synthetics. Along with GHE products below, I'll be using the organics right along side. Mainly for the microbes and fungi. I plan on keeping my water about 1-2" below the basket with heavier pumps. Will be using the EcoPlus Eco Air 4 Four Outlet air pump divided into 2 buckets/2 air stones and using the 2 Marina 200 Air pumps for clones. That will more than double the airflow to the roots. When I change the res and even when I transfer over to the larger flower DWC bucket (3 gal - 5 gal) I'll be keeping a litre of the veg solution to add to the fresh new res, thus 'inoculating' it with the already stable microbial and fungal environment that it's been used to. As well, I'll continue with Hygrozyme on a 'maintenance' dosage when changing the res and adding a liter of the microbial and fungal tea listed below as well as a dose of Tarantula from Advanced Nutrients. Adding organic Alaskan veg and bloom fertilizer (some 'Fulvic acid' as well, like seaweed liquid. Plants uptake Fulvic better than Humic. Root fungi eat the Humic and poop out Fulvic!) in 'moderation' to help bring PH back down and feed microbes and fungi. Once the plants start really stacking, I'll add more synthetics to compensate and to lower PH. The organics can really mess with the EC so I'm not going to be freaking about high levels. Found that it didn't effect the plants health that much if at all. This week i harvested her on day 88 from seed week 13. This girl had some issues. She none the less survived long enough to finish up. Around the 2 week of flower she began burning up underneath the led's ( which don't get that hot). It's really weird, because out of 3 plants that were under the led's i run, this candy kush was the only one to react this way. I narrowed it down to this being the issue after flushing and verifying run off ph, defoliation, and nutrient decreases.She was also transplanted during preflower from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon pot, which she took to well and really grew alot bigger from. I pulled off soooo many damaged leaves from the issues that occurred from the burning. It was so bad, i eventually built a greenhouse for her to finish up in. Although i think she could have been grown better and produced more, i cannot complain. I did oven bake some bottom branch larf buds and rolled up a sample. Of course the terpines were garbage and she tasted like shit haha, but the high was pretty good and intense! After she is done drying i will supply dry picks and weights, then she will be going into them curing jars. Oh and she was flushed for one week using only tps signal and molasses. She will indeed get another run in the future.

Day 22, 10-2-24: I did some trimming on them today for the first time! They needed some soil added, and I clipped the first 2 nodes and got them looking good! Day 23, 10-3-24: They are absolutely amazing. So vigorous... Great genetics... One of the few genetics companies I've gotten 100% ratios on popping seeds. These ladies are going to be some fine looking ones.. The bigger pot is definitely larger, but oddly, the six inches of soil is bigger than the control five gallon. Didn't expect that but it is what it is 🤷 Day 24, 10-4-24: The leaves on 1 and 2, and it has to be heat. I lifted the aglex 240 w about 6 inches this morning, the lights were reading good, and it doesn't feel hot under the light at their level, so IDK why they are curling. Day 25, 10-5-24: They are continuing to grow steady and robust. They are all generally the same again, and they feel good and flexible. Going to start lst'ing soon. Day 26, 10-6-24: I did some training on #1 and 2. 3, the control, is, lacking. Both more and less soil is doing better than the 5 gal.. 🤷 Life's a garden, dig it? Day 27, 10-7-24: I finally got my room moved around and got my 400 w Aglex in there and I have them at 17 inches from the light at 50% for around a 600ish par. Day 28, 10-8-24: They are growing like crazy! All except the control. #1 and 2 are doing great and are ready to be trained out more. #3 is slowly growing and it's just creeping along...

During week 7 I accidentally snapped one of the branches while defoliating. It was a clean break but nearly snapped clean off. I have managed to prop and strap it up so hopefully with a bit of care she can hold on. It's now been 5 days since it snapped and seems to still look healthy so keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 Other than that this girl seems to be coming along really well. She has a lot of bud sites and seems to be taking nicely to my DIY Aero/Hydroponic system. I'm really pleased with how she is turning out for my first ever grow and I'm looking forward to seeing her at harvest! Happy growing 🌱

Ok completely my bad with this. Haven't been feeling great the past couple weeks and have really neglected these babies, among other things. But, I had a go in there yesterday and hopefully things shouldn't keep getting so bad. The buds are fattening up on both a lot, and considering what they've been through I think they look pretty damn good. A lot of burned tops, any suggestions what o should do with them? Seems a bit harsh to smoke. I've managed to wiggle them down a bit lower, hopefully he burning shouldn't get worse, but we'll see. Smells fantastic anyway. Definitely want to run these again a. It further from the light 👍👍👍
