Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

1/12: impatiently waiting for lemon auto to finish up. Still not sure what the northern lights is trying to do, but..the little buds are slowly growing. S l o w l y... 1/14: things are getting out of hand in here. Northern lights is bushy AF again but the budlets appear to be increasing in size. Lemon is getting closer every day. Looks like I've got milky trichomes and the pistils are darkening. Still a bit early, but I'd be lying if I wasn't anxious for the space.. 1/15: I've accepted that I have at least a week ish left on Lemon auto,but she's getting there! I did some rather risky defoliation on northern lights and holy shit, she's got potential. I'm hoping she's just a slow grower and those buds will really fatten up! Perhaps lemon is just a really fast growing plant? I've also decided that since space is limited, my best bet is to probably rotate the plants every other day to allow all bid sites an opportunity for direct light. I'm reigning myself in. Once lemon auto is harvested I need to NOT immediately plant another. I've got some mephosito seeds I want to get going, but I've learned my lesson. This tent fits two 5 gallon mature plants... Uncomfortably. Three is too many 😂 1/17: wondering if northern lights has is it her to fatten up. Gave her a good flush &feed. Popcorn buds or not, I'm invested (#forscience). Lemon auto is still finishing up. Can't get good enough pics with phone to see trichomes. Clearly, I have a minimum of a week left, but I got a digital microscope so I can keep track! Oh my goodness this has to be the most massive bad I've ever had forming. This lady is going to be the densest & most potent plant I've ever grown I can just tell. She loves the environment. I've been trying hard to keep temps cool but was away for a few days and didnt wanna risk leaving the window open to animals without bieng home :/ but I tried hard and the girls look GREAT. The little lady is turning out to be a pretty good plant I wish I had the plants in smaller pots so I could prop the smaller plant up higher and get them closer to the light. The under lights are helping a lot with having shorter and taller plants at the same time

Diese Woche habe ich meine Pflanze nur einmal gedüngt, ansonsten nur mit Wasser, CalMag, SuperVit und GreenSensation versorgt. Ich sehe immer noch leichte Anzeichen von Überdüngung. Allerdings entwickelt sich die Pflanze wunderschön und verströmt einen intensiven, fruchtigen Duft nach Orange und süßen Aromen. Zudem ist sie extrem klebrig, wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann. Auffällig ist auch, dass die Blätter dunkler geworden sind. Dieser Effekt ist für mich neu, da es meine erste Sorte ist, die so reagiert. Es ist wirklich faszinierend!😅🤤 This week I only fertilized my plant once, otherwise only supplied with water, CalMag, SuperVit and GreenSensation. I still see slight signs of overfertilization. However, the plant develops beautifully and exudes an intense, fruity scent of orange and sweet aromas. In addition, it is extremely sticky, as you can see in the pictures. It is also noticeable that the leaves have become darker. This effect is new to me because it is my first strain that reacts like this. It's really fascinating! 🍊💐🎂

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. The weather's not very rainy and there's not much heat, some caterpillars have eaten the lower leaves a little, but it's fine.

My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. These are just a handful of the dozens of ailments marijuana is being prescribed to combat by doctors across the globe and in more than a dozen U.S. states. Cooperatives at medical marijuana dispensaries have been at the forefront of providing CBD-rich cannabis buds and oils for their patients, who undoubtedly appreciate being able to purchase the strain best-suited to ease their particular ailments. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. Girl 1 is 26 cm and Nr2 is 16 cm tall. Added videos and pics. Grow room Nr2 is 1.75 meters x 1,05 meters and its 1.92 meters high. Im using 1x 140 watt Apollo led 4 and 1x 370 watt Apollo led 10.

Week 7 plants are going great. The Contest Pheno on the top right corner is out growing all the other phenos. The development seems to be faster than previous generations of the limon Blanco. The other are more consistent in their growth patterns so far. Scrog has been placed as of day 48 and going to let plants grow into it over next couple weeks before flower and second trellis.
