Soweit so gut.

End of week 8, she is so close now!!! All I have to do is guide her through this final week of flush and hope that nothing crazy happens. All fingers and toes are crossed. Cannot wait to see the final yield on this one. I really can't even take a guess at it. I hope its large, but ya just never know.

Looking at the canopy now, it really feels like everything came together at the right time. The two Northern Lights are stacking thick, frosty colas with that classic dense structure, while the Critical is entering her final phase, fading from green into those lime-yellow tones as she pulls the last energy from her leaves. The buds are fully formed and swelling hard. Everywhere you look, it’s just resin, a proper blanket of trichomes covering the flowers and sugar leaves. Under closer inspection, most trichomes are cloudy now, with the first ambers starting to show, especially on the edges. Pistils are turning orange and curling inward, another clear sign that the finish line is close. The differences between the strains really stand out at this point. The Northern Lights plants are darker, more compact, and absolutely dripping in frost, while the Critical leans lighter in color with a more pronounced fade and slightly airier, but still chunky buds. Together, they fill the tent with a balanced, even canopy — every top sitting right in the sweet spot under the light. We’re officially inside the harvest window now. From what I’m seeing, I’d estimate about 7–12 days left. It’s one of those moments where patience really matters. Chopping earlier would keep things a bit more uplifting, but giving them a few more days will push more amber trichomes and deepen the effect. Right now, they’re close — but not quite at their absolute peak. I’m letting them ride just a little longer to fully mature and finish strong. Overall, this run has been alright. The environment stayed dialed in, the plants responded well, and now they’re rewarding that with proper, high-quality flowers. Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.18 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD

06/23/2020 Here she is very well pollinated, and fattening up! I will post a video of her mid week to show her progress. The waiting begins. I'am really hopping #3 passes his flower structure (week 3 first pic) into the cookie cake for bigger buds, and less cookie like structure but either way taste should be great and potency off the charts!🙏 06/24/2020 Video 2 shows remains of Red Sky male, his pollen is a nice yellow. I kept 1.4grams and must of been 5 grams on floor and walls!

Week 7: Flowering Stage – The Frost Factory & Bud Swelling 🦍❄️ Development: 🌿 We have officially advanced into Week 7 of bloom, and the Gorilla Z is turning into an absolute masterpiece. The resin production is skyrocketing—the sugar leaves and calyxes are heavily coated in a thick blanket of glittering trichomes, filling the air with a pungent, sweet, and gassy terpene profile. The buds are swelling massively, packing on dense weight and expanding in size along the strong, supportive branches. Almost all of her energy is now locked into final flower maturation and maximizing potency. 🚀📈 Setup & Environment: 🌡️ She continues to thrive inside her outdoor greenhouse shelter. The environment is warm and bright, allowing the plant to push its resin defenses to the absolute limit under the natural sun. Excellent passive ventilation is keeping the airflow constant around the dense flower clusters, which is vital for keeping the humidity down inside the heavy canopy during this deep maturation phase. ☀️🌦️ Nutrients & Water 💧 Watering: Consuming a steady amount of water to keep the metabolic processes active. I am strictly maintaining the wet-to-dry cycle to ensure the root zone stays healthy and properly oxygenated. Feed (per Liter): Fish·Mix: 3 ml Bio·Bloom: 3 ml Top·Max: 1 ml Acti·Vera: 3 ml Bio·Heaven: 3 ml CalMag: 1 ml Grower’s Notes 💭 Goal for this week: Support the peak flower development and monitor trichome cloudiness. The colas are becoming extremely heavy, compact, and sticky to the touch. The genetics are really shining through now with that legendary Gorilla frost combined with a rich, candy-like undertone. We are getting closer to the finish line, and she is looking incredibly promising! 🦍🔥

She's coming along really well, I think she's almost done stretching, hopefully we will begin to see her bud structure fill out really well. The weather has been frigid outdoors, 11°F all week. My heater from AC Infinity is holding up incredibly against the temps. Can't wait to see this one through, I just know it'll be a good one.

💦Nutrients by Gen1:11 - www.genoneeleven.com 🌱Substrate PRO-MIX HP BACILLUS + MYCORRHIZAE - www.pthorticulture.com/en/products/pro-mix-hp-biostimulant-plus-mycorrhizae

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

______________ An interim update: ______________ The pre-bloom has started. The plant is preparing for its last growth spurt. The growth in the last days is therefore substantial. For the time being no real problems. Apart from the additives that I provide, no additional nutrients have been added. A little too much N, because of this there is a little bit of burned leaftips. But hopefully a bit of a push can not hurt too much;) a new update at the end of the week. _________________ End of week 4 update: _________________ The bloom has begun. The growth was very exuberant this week. 25 centimeters larger than at the beginning of the week. There are a lot of shoots with budsites. Have given some flowering nutrients for the first time, albeit a low dose. The problem with the burned leaf tips has also been solved. A little too much of N did not hurt the plant. The grow mix of plagron is perhaps a bit too 'powerful' for young plants. But no real negative consequences, so no problem. I gave the plant also a nice 'shower' today with iron spray. She seems to like it. On to the real first week of flowering
