29.8.2021 Sono tornato dopo 2 settimane di ferie e ho trovato purtroppo 1 cima dell Lsd con della muffa. C è stato parecchio caldo da noi e non potendo cambiare aria aprendo il box come facevo, ha creato le condizioni ideali x il crescere della muffa. Forse dovrò tagliare anche una cima di una sensi star. X il resto ho visto che le piante sono ingrassate, siamo arrivati al 116 giorno dal seme e a 52 giorni di fioritura, penso che il raccolto sia vicino🤤🤤 L lsd forse darò uma settimana in più, penso che arriverò a 10 settimane di fioritura. Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

6th week of flowering. The flowers are almost fully formed, they just need to fatten up and share. It's noticeable that they're drinking a lot of water and also that it's hotter than the previous months, so it evaporates faster.

Day 23 - These chubby, stubble little chicks finally got tall enough that I could LST the top cola. These girls seem healthy as shit but man I'll be happier as they continue to stretch. It's been hard working in the soil because of all the fan leaves. Worried about future moisture issues. Still have no clue how much to water them. Day 25 - Gave them their first nutes. Used about a third of the recommended pair from the fox farm trio since I'm using Ocean Forest soil. I've heard it's pretty hot, so I just fed with Calmag the last ten days. Continued with training the branches and it's really helping out. The branches are easy to tie down now that they are getting some length. Lights turned down to 82% for the last two days or so. Did some rearranging since the par in the center is slightly higher. My thought is the increased distance to the center will allow me to get balance out the two Pinots since the Sammy is shorter. We will see. I may send that off to live with a buddy if I run out of space. Random - Did I mention one of my other hobbys is home automation? I uploaded a shot of my dashboard that changes every time I get some crazy idea. I have fun messing with it and it keeps me in touch with my plants. Day 29 - two are starting to flower. Removed the humidifier and bumped the light up to 90%. Finally realized what a dry pot weighs so that helps to know when they need water. Time lapses are really helpful for me because I can see how each cola is developing. I can see where I need to tuck fan leaves and focus some lst love. Big momma is complete and going to let her be since I think it’s well distributed. The other Pinot is a few days behind, as is the Sammy. Happy with all Bree so far. Work has begun on the automatic watering system for when I need to leave for a few days

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. started LST Sat, 11/4{ did my best my 1st time}.,Tues.11/7 ,Fed nutrients 4ml.sensi grow A-B, 2ml. Bud Candy, 2ml. Bud Ignitor, 4ml. Cal-Mag. Thurs. 11/9 did some defoliation and to me it looks o.k. but IDK this is my 1sr time growing dont know what to look for to trouble shoot. Wed..11/8 look like pistols started to show up on my girls, So it must be time to start the bloom nutrients, girls are 29 days old.

Switched one generic t8 8w led for a t8 9w grow led. Plants have responded well to the change. Will give the plants a few more days before moving them down to the 2nd grow chamber with double the lights. Will leave the small ones in the current chamber until they recover and catch up. USB Desktop fan seems to be too directional. WIll adjust so that the airflow is a bit more uniform.

not much has happened this week. there is still some sun per day. however, the temperatures drop to 4-8 degrees at night. these are not exactly the best conditions. maybe this late outdoor experiment was not a good idea after all. however, they have not died yet.

This week went great again. The flowers are chunking up more now, filling with trichomes. The smell is amazing🤤🤤🤤! Afghan kush early harvest is impressive with chunky buds already.Pink kush has the best smell and beautiful Color’s on her leaves. They all smell great. Orange bunz smell like oranges. Lots of trichomes everywhere! These LED lights seem to be doing a great job so far. Gaia green hasn’t disappointed me yet, always heathy happy plants. I defoliated a bunch a little bit over time to make sure I didn’t run into pm or other issues. 🔥💨💚✌️🏼

I continue my training for the scrog, almost good :) And did again a defoliation. I'll probably did a last defoliation on the end flip, to remove under site and slim stems. I found the first pistils on the 3 plants, but totally forgot to take a pics 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. I stay in veg week, because we're on preflowering ✌️ 💦 Only one watering this week, after transplant I had given lot of water.
