Day 70 – Flower Week 1 (Flip on Day 67) This sister plant is showing the same scrog training and timing as the other, but with a slightly different personality. The canopy is a tight, lush mat of foliage, filling the net squarely from edge to edge. Multiple tops are pushing upward at a uniform height, and the first white pistils are starting to peek out—clear signs of early bloom. The leaves look strong and vibrant, a deep healthy green with minimal blemishes. Lower growth beneath the screen is shaded and beginning to fade slightly, which is expected as the plant channels energy toward the upper sites. Stretch after the flip is underway, but still controlled, helping to maintain the flat profile ideal for even light coverage.

Yooo what’s up! Today marks Day 2 of Week 5 in flower and maaaan, things are coming along perfectly. The aromas right now are on a whole different level – every time I open the tent it’s like getting hit with a wave of dank fruity funk. Buds are stacking up beautifully, trichomes are starting to glisten, and the structure is lookin' solid. Only thing I’m wishin' I did different is spreading her out a bit more or doing a bit of defoliation earlier. She’s packed in and some of those lowers aren't getting all the love they could be. But hey – lesson learned for next run: don’t get greedy with the amount of tops! Quality over quantity, always. Gonna aim for a cleaner canopy next time, fewer but fatter colas. For now, I’m keeping the feed around 1000 PPMs, just to keep things steady without overdoing it. She seems happy, leaves are praying, and everything’s right on track. Let’s gooo! 💨🌱🔥

The time has finally come 👍 You have been switched to 12/12 hrs and are ready to flower. Of course, cuttings were cut beforehand to keep the genetics. For 4 days now she has also been getting Fast Buds from GreenBuzzLiquids. They were also sprayed again with GBL Fast Plant spray. She is very healthy and I am excited to see how she gets going again in bloom :-). This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time (for nutrients, see nutrient table above). Then I filled canisters with fresh osmosis water for the next few weeks 👍. The tent was cleaned and every plant was checked for health. At the moment I am tinkering with the ventilation because there are currently 4 fans with 4 activated carbon filters running, which I want to make more efficient by putting a hose through 2 tents. Due to the tiny growth of this plant I haven't been keeping up to date with its diary. Photos have been taken throughout the process and I do plan on updating it eventually. I'm hoping that the quality of smoke turns my opinion around on this strain as I have had to turn to humor to deal with the absence of growth... But shes a perfect mini Christmas tree and boy does she smell good!!

I started brewing a batch of Compost Tea today which should be ready in 24-36 hours, after which I'll give the Wedding Cheesecake FF a treat! 5/19- I'm almost certain that slugs are the culprits of all of the leaf chewing that has occurred. I only wish I had figured it out sooner but, on the bright side, this is a photoperiod and she has plenty of time to recover so she'll be just fine. Once I figured out that I was facing a slug attack, I immediately deployed my favorite defense against slugs and other little soft bodied buggers and their larvae... Diatomaceous Earth. This stuff is death to fungus gnat larvae, along with other pest larvae and will ruin a slugs day quickly! If you look at diatomaceous earth under magnification, it resembles shards of glass and acts as the same on the soft bodies of pests either repelling, or killing them! 5/21- The Wedding Cheesecake is putting out a ton of new growth and has maintained her color and vigor. I have been training her branches through the trellis net as they get long enough and will probably be installing a second net before too long! Our weather has dried out and warmed up so I'm watering daily with well water straight from the garden hose. 5/23- Eight weeks of growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she just keeps looking better by the day... She's going to be a gorgeous plant! I cannot wait to see her in a month or so... can you? Welcome to another season of Grow N' Smoke! This is my 9th grow but my second diary. Luckily I came upon some seeds that I had been desperate to try, Cookies Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds. Shout out to James and RQS, they deliver to the USA now! I got my seeds sooner than I thought and was able to start my grow last Sunday 2/19/23. It's now Saturday 2/25/23 and we are off to good start. A 100% Germination! How awesome! I'm really excited about this grow and I am very hopeful of the results. I hope that you enjoy this journey with me and that we can help each other along the way.

Ich habe mich für die Keimung direkt in dem BioBizz Light-Mix entschieden. Mit etwas Glück, keimten auch alle Samen wie erwartet. Die Keimung hat etwas länger gedauert, schätzungsweise 2-3 Tage, bis die ersten Samen aus der Erde schauten. Ich habe einfach dafür gesorgt, dass es die Samen immer schön warm und feucht haben, schien gewirkt zu haben - immer mal wieder besprühen - dann sah alles gut aus. Für den Anfang standen die Töpfe daheim, um sicherzustellen, dass es warm genug war.

Did some final and thorough defoliaton this week because i did not like that the RH was creeping towards 60%. Next run already decided for a 1:1 Plant, also from Paradise Seeds. Photoperiods it is for now 👻 Harvest is approaching 💀

The Gorilla Cookies FF is now outside. Unfortunately, I overwatered it while it was indoors, which slowed its growth, but it has recovered. We'll see how big it gets. I'll probably repot it again.

Noticing a nute burn or a deficiency this week. Leaves gaining rust colored spots and some yellowing/clawing.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la segunda semana de floración de estas Sagrada amnesia de Seedstockers, salieron las 5 de 5, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 5 ejemplares seleccioné los 3 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, el fotoperiodo a 12/12, también aplique una buena poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, ya empiezan a formarse las flores.
