Strawnana is bulking out, I have noticed she hasn’t quite finished maturing when looking at her trichomes. I’m wanting a more sedative feel from this hybrid, so pushing for more ambers than milky. I’m checking every 2/3 days and they do seem to be changing quite nicely. I will prob switch to just water once I start seeing a few more ambers appearing. Until then, just feeding and letting her do her thing. I’ll follow her lead, and let her trichomes decide when I harvest. I hope you are all having a great grow week 🌱☀️

Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

Semaine 9

Day 90 The Sativa plant is beautifully swollen at the top. I've watered it minimally for the last three days. Today I'll mix up the solution and add a 1 g/l Bio Enchanter. It's alkaline (pH 8), so I'll first dilute 15 liters of the solution with 2 ml/l CalMag in the aquapot to 250 PPM. Then I'll lower the pH to 5.0, as recommended by the fertilizer manufacturer. After that, I'll dissolve a capful—one and a half liters of black powder. These 15 liters should be used within 24 hours. My slightly drying bushes will appreciate a third of the pot's volume being watered. The stems are showing red spots—it looks like I need to add 1-2 g/l Bio Bloom to the coco and mix 2-5 liters of the coco into the top layer. After bending and pruning, the plants feel stronger and healthier. To correct the nitrogen deficiency, I'll also add a liter of Simplex Start Up 4 ml/l. Day 95 They're doing well after moving to their new space. I didn't change the photoperiod to avoid stress. Yesterday, I didn't water them at all because they were experiencing water deficiencies. Today, I watered each plant 2 liters of solution, 10% of the solution before draining. I also added a weak concentration of Simplex Coco mineral fertilizer, 1 ml/l.

Woche Sieht soweit gut aus, Pheno 1 ist schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung als der 2, ich habe den ersten letzte Woche entlaubt mit der Schere, damit die Buds jetzt nomma schön Licht bekommen und anschwellen können. Denke die ist in 2 Wochen rdy to Harvest 😍 Pheno 2 braucht denke noch bisschen länger, 4 Wochen sind fjedenfall angesetzt und dann mal sehen, wie weit die Lady ist 😊

A lot has been going on this week. I performed a slurry test at the start of the week to get updates on the soil. pH is way too low and it's starting to miss nutrients, so I started feeding again once a week at low dosage. I noticed that the new leaves are slowly yellowing probably because of the low pH. I plan a curative flush at high pH to reset it. The runoff should give better readings on what's going on than the slurry test. I built an elevated platform made from metal trays I found at the dollar store to collect it more easily. Game changer really. LST has begun. Stems are chunky and already hard to bend but the job was easy with the new floral wire I use. I used to have a very thin one that I couldn't stick in the ground. The irrigation system Is fully working now and all automatic. I still need to adjust the time it's on and off to get the perfect watering. The algae problem is solved and I didn't have to use any algaecide or filtration system. I simply put 0,5ml/L of 29% H2O2 in my reservoir. Hydrogen peroxide is antibacterial and it also helps with the oxygen levels of the water. With continuous aeration, protection from light and H2O2, the water in the tank is good for at least 5 days. 7 in fact if I count the 2 days for chlorine evaporation. I also now have a 3000L/h water pump and the sprinklers can respectfully be called by their real name. The video shows what it was before with an 800L/h pump. I didn't had the chance to record with the new system.

Man... What a week! So we closed in on week 6. I JUST moved all of my stuff across town! Went well! I FINALLY got everyone setup where they belong...

j'ai commencé a ajouter des engrais à l'eau, en petite quantité. les feuilles commence à sentir légérement (un vrai plaisir 😀). Le climat est plutôt simple à maintenir, contrairement à ce que je croyais 1 l dans l'humidificateur sufit pour 1 journée. la Nothern light a un léger retard. J'augmente doucement la quantité d'eau. Sur la stress killer il y a un bout de feuille qui est jaune, sans autre preuve de carence. pas d'insecte pas de moissisure 😃. ça a l'air de bien s'annoncer pour le moment.

Just flip these plants about 3 or 4 days ago. Had some bud trainers on the branches to get them down a little bit lower is this plant tends to stretch. We should see some nice Frosty buds in a few weeks . Stay tuned and tune in

Did some lollipoping this week, but not much. Buds start to get bigger, all looking and smelling good, stretch is over. DLI was increased to 36.

Día 32. Esta semana corté los esquejes. El dia 30 de crecimiento. Saqué 8 y los puse a enraizar en lana de roca, dentro de media botella de 6lt tapada con otra mitad. Mantengo la solución de la semana anterior. Hasta ahora la planta se ve muy bien. Ya dentro de una semana espero tener raíces y pasarlas al indoor de arriba con la madre. La configuración del espacio va a ser un desafío dado que la madre tiene las ramas muy abiertas. A primera idea, supongo que haré que los costados sean ocupados por la madre y guiaré los 4 esquejes para que ocupen el centro del indoor. De todos modos seguro aplique tecnicas de guiado y/o cortes en los esquejes. Una vez arriba pienso darles una semana de crecimiento y ver, en base al tamaño que tengan, si ya los paso a floración. Quiero aprovechar el primer cultivo para tener una referencia de espacio y tamaño. El tiempo va pasando más rápido de lo que imaginé y ver los cambios tan rápidos ha ayudado. Debo admitir que soy un poco obsesivo y eso me hace más fanático de la hidroponia, ya que el cultivo es más limpio y mucho más rápido para crecer. Ahora tengo que esperar ver. 2/15: Bud sites are really starting to thicken up. I think she's going to have to fat buds on her in the future. Gave a pH balanced flush today and rotated her in the tent. 2/19: Unsure if I have a light burn situation or a nutrient situation. Opted for another pH balanced rinse in lieu of nutes. Unfortunately I can't raise my light any higher. Will monitor..

Week 10: Buds are stacking and the frost is building! Observations: Week 10 is in the books and the girls are looking beautiful! The bud sites are really starting to fatten up and stack nicely. We are seeing some great trichome production developing on the sugar leaves, giving them a nice frosty look. Looking closely at the pistils, we have a mix right now. Many are still bright white and shooting straight out, which means the calyxes are still swelling and the plant is actively packing on weight. However, on some of the more mature colas, the pistils are just starting to darken, turn orange/brown, and curl inward. Plant Health & Nutrients: Overall, the canopy looks healthy and vigorous. The fan leaves are a very deep, rich, dark green. I did notice some very minor nutrient burn (crispy brown tips) on the edges of some leaves. It's nothing major to worry about, but it tells me the plant is right at its absolute limit for nutrients. I might dial back the feeding/EC slightly (especially the Nitrogen, given how dark the leaves are) so I don't stress her out as she finishes up flower. Next Steps: Going to keep the environment dialed in, keep an eye on those leaf tips, and just let her do her thing! The smell is really starting to come through now.

01/26 No pictures this week because I'm doing multiple days of time lapse photos. Next week should have some yummy vids and photos. Plants have been doing well. Topped all of the plants between 01/20-01/23, except Berry, which will get topped tonight. Berry has had a very strong rebound. Still very pale in comparison, but is showing strong vertical growth. Vigorous growth of lateral shoots in most plants except for one of the WW. (iirc, it's WW 3) The tallest WW with the widest node spacing has had extremely poor lateral growth, even at the topping site. Likely another 2-4 weeks before mothers will be a clone-ready, based on observed growth. I prefer DWC and haven't done soil for a very long time. It's shocking how much slower growth rate is in soil. A good thing in the long run, because pruning a mother plant in hydro is a PITA. At the same time, I want these plants to hurry up so I can toss clones into a SOG test. My plan is to take 2 clones of 4 plants and flower them all in one 14-gallon tote. 01/28 I had some issues with the timelapse because I didn't set the intervalometer correctly and it eventually went weird after running for over 36 hours and started taking pics every 5 minutes. Things have been fixed and I have add a video from 01/24. I am going to trim some fan leaves tonight and decided to flower 2 cuttings each from the two Bananas.
