Welcome to week 10 of my Strawberry Cheesecake diary by seedsman, grown by me, Ctrellis90. So as you can see she's almost done! So that's pretty exciting! I had to get down and scrape out her top layer of soil last week because of some moisture problems in the soil but I think everything is fine for her last week in earth. The trichomes are almost right where I want them so that's all I'm doing now is waiting for those bad boys to turn so I can chop this pretty lady down. It was a lot of fun growing her, so much so that I had to out another one in the ground lol. This time in coots mix from BAS. Hopefully she doesn't burnt up....I've had that happen before when I mixed the soil wrong. Anyways I did give her just a little more Gaia all purpose for her last week just incase she has some more flower to put on for me. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! * ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Pre-Flowers On 13/04/2024, a gentle defoliation was carried out to clear away leaves that were obscuring younger bud sites. Additionally, the nutrient regimen was adjusted to incorporate Sensi Bloom at a concentration of 3.6.6 ml/l, with planned incremental adjustments up to 4ml/l as the flowers begin their enchanting journey towards full bloom. 1 hour after the lights were turned on, it was noted that the extractor fan may have been inadvertently disturbed during the defoliation process. This is evident from the slight drooping of the , likely influenced by both temperature fluctuations and the defoliation itself. Remember to always double-check the outlets after each session to ensure smooth operations. Few hours later.... Cropmaster installed/extra 4inch extractor fan attached! 14/04/2024 Undertook defoliation procedures and implemented certain modifications. In the previous evening, Cropmaster experienced LED malfunctions. Consequently, I have resorted to utilizing the Budmasters God 9 once again God.4 Mid-day: installed 60watt side light!

11/3/21 - Looking really good today! All plants are crazy perky with big flowers that are begging for 12/12. We will flip after the aphids are gone. We will be repeating week 3 of nutrients this week. 11/4/21 - They look amazing. We got Fox Farm Force Of Nature because we have aphids :/ We will spray this evening and look each day and spray as needed. Major defoliation is going to be done throughout the week as well. We got 2 more scrog nets going in. The plants need them pretty bad. We will put one more up, mash the tops down, defoliate and add the second scrog in early flower. 11/5/21 - We didn’t have time to put the scrog up or defoliate. Also, the spray for the aphids never showed up 😡. But on the plus side, the plants looks amazing! 11/6/21 - We did some major defoliation and sprayed the aphids with an organic pesticide soap. We also added the second scrog net. 11/7/21 - We only found a couple live aphids so sprayed again. They should all be gone by now. Light needs to be bumped to 60% and also raise it a bit. They look so much smaller after some defoliation. 11/8/21 - Aphids are gone :) We will do one more week of veg then add a 3rd scrog mid flower to support the buds when they start to form. 11/9/21 - First day of flower will be 11/17. Pretty excited for them to flower up. This veg has been frustrating and challenging with 6 plants. Overwhelming at times. Next one is going to be 4 plants MAX. They look great today!

Kinda a leggy one. Leaves are okay, stalk not mis-colored, just trying to get the conditions right. I have other beans going, but this one seems to be lacking something. No, issues, so I’m not going to push it. We relocated the family to the basement. I have a trellis that is almost full and I think I’m past the point I needed to be. The temps are a little lower so we will see what happens.

Aug 17: Chemdawg auto is ripening nicely. Need direct sun to make trichomes but it is cool smoky and overcast again today. Oh well, not everyday is 24 C and sunny all day. Aug 20: sunny day again and have her under a UV light. Aug 21: chance of rain today so no UV light while I’m at work today.

Starting week 4 flower now. Theses ladies are doing great. No signs of any deficiency thus far. Decided to hold off on potash at this point. Noticed ladies fighting for light hard and middle lady trying to take it all. I removed the exhaust fan and opened the tent on the sides. Then I added another king led 4000w light. Both 24 in with bloom only turned on at a par of 850. That was done on Saturday, and by Sunday could already see a big difference in bud production. Added recharge with last watering. Hoping the ladies continue on happy and building!

I harvested 2 weeks after the last update. The videos are from a month later after the buds were cured.

2019-12-08 (day 9) -not much too add, seedling is growing. Atmosphere in tent is stable, slightly colder than I'd like but nothing I'm worried about. My second Meizhi 600 showed up and I will add it most likely in week 3 or 4. I may pop 2 more seeds to grow simultaneously with these two girls, just a bit worried about the coverage of these lights, we'll see I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll likely implement nutes by the end of next week.

También el miércoles empecé a usar Bud Ignitor para ayudar a Alice.K. con su etapa de pre-floración. A partir de ahora tendré pocos disparos nocturnos. Al final de la semana he fijado la malla de SCROG, y no podré mover más la planta. Más entrada la floración haré unas pruebas nocturnas dentro del armario para ver cómo responde a las fotos nocturnas, ya que no quiero estresarla con luces por la noche durante la floración. Finalmente el Domingo diseñé e imprimí unos soportes para las ramas inferiores, sólo hay fotos con una de las ramas sujetas, ya que hice las fotos mientras se imprimía el resto de los soportes. -----CALENDARIO DE RIEGO----- 11/09/19 (Día 51) - 3.000 ml con todos los nutrientes semanales -(Bud Candy y Silica Power) y de Organic Growth Nutrition sólo 1,5ml/l @ 1,25 E.C. Day 98, 40 days of flower, Plants are progressing well from all the abuse I've put them threw. Not sure when to chop plant B. Keeping an eye on the tricomes. Day 99, 41 days of flower, Watered with 3 liters per plant of plain distilled water. Day 100, picked some dead leaves off like I do everyday now, just keeping an eye on plant B's trichomes since it's hairs are showing the most age. Plant A's hairs are all orange now, while plant C and D are still white. Looks like we will have a staggered harvest. Not sure when to harvest though. Day 101, 43 days of flower(start of week 7 of flower) - Picked more dead leaves off, Plant A- has the biggest bugs, all orange hairs, but the smallest stalk. Plant B- has a few new white hairs but is still aging. Plant C- has small frost buds, and alot of white hairs. Plant D- has medium sized buds with plents of frost, has lots of white hairs. Day 102, 44 days of flower- Watered with 3 liters of plain distilled water. Picked more dead leaves off of course to maintain a clean canopy and reduce options for bugs. Day 104, day 46 of flower- Plant B has some amber trichomes, so I might chop it today or tomorrow. Took alot of photos of plant B since it's my first harvest.

Smell kind of strawberry champagne And sorbet. Super sweet And fruity.definitely 9 week. In week 5-7 start to put some weight on it but in 7-9 still put more and more 3 layer of trellis and they didn’t make it :))) all of them start to fall down. A little problems in veg cuz I was using organic guanokalong than I switched to mills (the best I think in the European market at least) they to great results. I was using them before, I was growing zkittlez than and same shit fucking great results,I definitely recommended mills full line. Try it and see for your self.I hope that post help you in a way other and you make an idea how that strain develops in flower. Oh yah she stretched till week 4-5 so be aware when you put them in flower. For ipm program I use atlantica full line all of them bio extracts and they make it. I was fighting with trips and you all know how hard is to fight with them. Not even 1 sign of trips after a few weeks of atlantica ipm. Anyway I definitely recommend this strain and I will grow again and again alongside with others for sure.
