The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. Greetings Fellow Green Thumbs! We are approaching harvest very soon. Within the next week, week and a half tops. Need to monitor the trichomes closely (aiming for at least 50% milky) before I start flushing for 4-5 days (PH'd Filtered Water + FloraKleen) Debating putting up some kind of support to keep the chunky colas from falling over. Was another good week this week. Seem to have figured out the brown spotting, started adding sensi-calmag to the mix and the spotting has stopped and leaf color is darkening back up. Not sure if was from calmag deficiency or low nitrogen, but either way they look better so it seems like it was the right call. Did a light defoliation early in the week, maybe a dozen leaves per plant. Just the usual stuff under canopy or bunching too much. Has been much easier to keep humidity down since the heavy defoliation a week ago. Buds are really starting to look good on three of the four plants with the front left being furthest along. She is starting to pack frost already! Back left still looks a week behind, but coming in strong. Could this be a come from behind winner? Last day of the week took apart the Autopot system for a good clean. Clean the res, flush the lines with line cleaner, pull and clean the valves with dish soap, cleaned out the trays, wipe down the underside of the pots and back together it all goes. Been running for 40 days and this is the first clean, should be the only one as there's only maybe 40 days left. I find the B52 builds up a bit of sludge after a month or so, but worth using have seen noticable better grows since adding it to the feedings. Either way, an hour of work once a grow is nothing to complain about VS all the time out in hand watering. Also a big improvement on the newer 5.0 valves vs the previous generation. They are about double the diameter, so they gunk up MUCH less and fill a lot faster. Using the old valves I was cleaning every 1-2 weeks depending on feeding frequency. Lights 18" @90% pushing 700umol/s Watering 32L every 3 days Air domes running 100% of time 4" intake @70% 6" exhaust @50% 6" Oscillating fan @50%

Did a strip/defoliation on all of them. She's catching up with the rest nicely and looking great. Will be feeding them all Terra Bloom from now on, still no mildew or bugs thanks to spraying cannacure weekly. Also, the subtle colors I spotted (hard to get a clear pic) are developing nicely, but some leaves are turning, twisting and curling, my first guess is that I've overwatered her, she's quite a bit smaller (more 'skinny', and flowering slower) but I've been watering here the same as the other two, might need to let her dry up a bit longer than the others.

What's up fellow growmies! I hope all is well with your grows! This week progressed like usual, they actually are starting to pre-flower and growing stigmas. Its like clock work with these autos July 1st marked a complete year in growing and each time I've grown autos they always start to transition to flower in week 5/6. Its hard to believe it has been a complete year for me💪🏾 I have gained so much knowledge and received so much help from this community and I really appreciate it. It seems like yesterday I was frantically worrying about everything. Although I have much to learn I think I pretty much have it down to a science. This last year I have grown 4 different strains 2 times each. On my current grow I have stopped obsessing over watering, one thing I am learning is that watering until run off is not really needed, unless you want to test the ppm/ph of said run-off, otherwise you are just wasting water. I start off with 1 liter of water per plant, and as they grow I make my way up to 2 liters. It appears to be the sweet spot especially for the 5 gallon pots, after about 2 liters I start to see run-off in the 3gallon pots I see it after about 1.5 liters of water. I am still using the General Hydroponics Flora Series trio, it has worked well for me. I always mix what the manufacturer recommends per gallon into a 3 gallon sprayer, so I am giving 1/3rd of the recommended dosage out of fear of nute burn or lockout. I performed LST on both Big Bud Auto plants, and one of my White Widows, the other 2 White Widows I am letting grow naturally. Stay tuned and Happy Growing!!!! 🤘🏾🤙🏾💪🏾

Ginger nut cookies and Aussie Music Videos update 20th Feb 2020 On Monday just past, I started to leave this plant out at night thus reducing light hours to the same as a regular outdoors Plant. This should induce flowering as all my other Photoperiod dependent strains are now in Flowering mode. Thru the use of Topping and LST training I have managed to create lots of potential bud sites for this plant to develop into lovely sticky and stinky Buds. Later on today I will do some more LST & As soon as I see pistils developing I will begin to add P+K to the soil by using Guano , Mollasses , Liquid potash, comfrey teas ,Compost teas and Worm castings. The smell of the stems is increasing in strength and has a blend of Red diesel stink mixed with cookies dankness. 😛 Now for the Weekly Music Videos yes I say videos because there will be three 🙏 Last week I chose The Divinyls but this week I thought I would do something different and ask the People what they wanted to hear. Week 7 the start of flowing and my ph and TDS meters have arrived which should make things a little easier for me to understand what is going on, I had changed the light schedule last week to 12-12 because I wasn’t really sure that it was an Autoflower or not due to it being bagseed but it looks as tho the pistols are getting bigger now that I have 🍁✌️🏻.
