Flower 14 day

Both beauties are now really taking off! Its Amazing! The weather is great, couldnt be better! Lots of sun...good water! The plants are happy. Unfortunatly, i m travelling since 10 days already and will only come back next week. Luckily I have a good friend taking care/ watering/ of the plants while i m gone. But i can see, i really need to build a structure around to open the plant a lil bit more and also do some defoliation for more air flow. I will do that next week, as soon as I m back home. I m super excited!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. I'm impressed with this C4 Auto, from fastbuds this is one of two plants I grew. This plant is a real indoor plant she grows lovely. The other plant is an outdoor plant it's pretty too don't get me wrong but where i thought the outdoors would produce a bigger plant i got the opposite of that, I got a Mutated plant, nice colored bud on here but she continues to mutate even in flowering stage my indoor plant is twice her height and size but love both my C4 Auto from fastbuds. Even if they broke my heart by changing payment policy, I'll never be able to get seeds from fastbuds again so I decided to spray my runt on the outdoors with tiresias mist feminized seed spray..... hopefully I get some pollen and able to pollinate my indoor C4 Auto..

2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day! Cleaned them all up for their last day in Moya (veg tent) before moving to Enterprise (Flower tent) ... heh Walking nuets up 2/22 in the new digs Both the 600w HID and 150w LED are now in the tent = 750w Everybody is on the Enterprise now. 2/23 white tips back dropping back down to 4ml/gal on the CT 2/25 Cutting back PK to 2ml/gal Pics for Fast Buds on leaf oddity Raised HID a couple of clicks getting some praying leaves underneath it.

I transplanted the Blackberry Kush a little early so it could start benefitting from the auto watering. For my grow set up I am not worried about overwatering, and I think the root development will be just fine in my tall, 2.5g pots. I will keep dialing up the nutrients carefully, as the Blackberry Kush is showing some minor development issues which I hope will self resolve (the Fastbuds Blackberry is doing great in the same conditions). I will have a lot more updates during the week, happy growing everyone and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot where drainage will be needed the most. Day 12: I lowered lights to 20 inches which is my vegitative growth hanging height generally. Thanks to those who responded to my grow question regarding this plant's leaf deformaties, the general consensus was that if the other parameters are good and this is the only plant showing symptoms it is likely genetic. This is also what I have suspected, as the only other plant I have had display these characteristics was a Black Cream almost a year ago grown with a completely different growing style. That plant grew alright (although slightly behind it's peers) so I hope this one can do well once it starts taking off! Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

The growing cycle it self worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2018-02-27. This is my review / smoke report of this lovely cbd flower. There are rock hard buds and almost no give at all, even in those smaller buds. When you grind it the scent will appear more than just smelling on the buds. It smells a little weak of grass, hay, pepper, some spicy and sweet. The taste is grass, soil, pepper and exceedingly sweet fruit. The effect is directly, the thc feeling above the eyes and in the forehead. A little light ringing in the ears and a dry mouth. After 10 minutes, the cbd kicks in and one feels that the neck and shoulders begin to relax and the feeling continues down over the back and chest down to the stomach. A calm and well-being is found in the body. After 15-20 minutes it is down in the legs. But in a strange way, you also feel like doing something, or meeting some friends and just sitting and talking about fun things. It is a very well-balanced strain and it fits in all sorts of contexts. I also think it might be good for someone who needs something that makes you more social and dampens enough anxiety and rushing thoughts effectively. I think this is a lovely strain and I highly recommend it to everyone but especially for more inexperienced people who want to soften with a pleasant medicine.

Week 7 flowering, Had some confusion with heat and semi started the flush only for the rain to come for a few days and drop the temp into mid 20's. Seems i may have been a bit eager.. Going to give them another feed this week and then start flush mid next week. They look & smell amazing. 3 very distinctly different smells though. But they're all getting sticky and covered in rez, so no complaints. Happy grows, everyone!

Day 57: Girls looking good and healthy. Got the HLG turned up 100% pumping 500 watt to em! We shall see. Still only given around 500ppm nutes. Day 58: Got mostly cloudy with just a couple amber it looks like. I'm thinking I need to start flushing. Albeit, only on one plant. I will wait a few days more until I make a decision. Day 59: Still looking beautiful! Buds are getting thicker! Decided I will give MOAB till week 10 and check the tric's at that time. Prob start flushing at that time. Only time will tell. Day 60: Girls looking good. 👊 Not gonna lie, getting nervous as I do not want to cut em too soon or too late. This is a tough spot. The one has a ton of red hairs. It looked as if there was just a couple of amber that I found the other day. I was looking on the outside of the buds, also. So I know the inside is where I need to look. Just not wanting to jack with them too much. I will check again at end of week. Day 61: Busy. No updates. Day 62: These girls are starting to smell amazing!! I don't see any noticeable growth here lately. I'm hoping they start to bulk even more though as I think I am still seeing some clear trichomes. Day 63: Welp, all is well and no new updates. I been feeding pretty heavy so I will back off and just water tomorrow.

Update - 4th July 2021 Just still flushing away. The colours that are coming out are crazy. I have edited some pics but not videos and the videos dont really pick up the colour. Its strange that it started completely green and then went darker and darker until it reached purple buds covered in trichomes. I am planning on harvesting both this plant and the purple punch today or tomorrow depending on when i can be bothered lol Tbh, its not hard because i dry trim so it's just a case of plucking off the fan leaves and hanging it in different branches.

No issues at all with these 3 girls!!! They look amazing!!
