[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Chopped on day 78, trichomes were fully milky and beginning to turn amber on the calyxes. I was looking for more of a sativa feel, so I decided to pull her today! She stinks like gas, sour candy, and hints of spice and kush. She started out super strong but began having calcium, nitrogen, and phosphorous issues throughout flower. Fortunately she turned out healthy in the end and pushed out a lot of resin. Decided to go with a Lotus Cure on this round since my last round got dried too quickly and lost a lot of terpenes. Buds were chopped down, green leaves without trichomes removed, and straight into jars and into the mini-fridge at 55-62% RH and 40F.

Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Ehi ragazzi eccoci ancora un altra settimana di fioritura spettacolare! Non mi sarei mai aspettato di avere quasi se non identici risultati tra tutti i componenti Dell Advanced nutrients e questa linea della plagron, vedremo come prosegue il lavoro, ma per ora si può notare come lo stimolatore di fioritura mi sta dando un sacco di densità di calici di fiori, quindi a livello di quantità siamo come i leader di mercato , direi non male per soli 4 componenti! Spero che continui in questo modo e che la densità possa solo che aumentare, e anche la potenza è la qualità dei fiori sembra che plagron stia facendo il suo dovere, deve dire che ho usato il vaso antispiralizzazione, quindi maggiori cicli bagnato!/asciutto forse ho fertilizzato di più delle altre sorelle nella tenda, che le sto tenendo tutte basse come nutrienti poiché costano sti maledetti Advanced, il problema è che i risultati ci sono, quindi uan persona si abitua e prima di provarne dei nuovi e magari nn fate un ciclo come si deve ci pensa magari 2 o 3 volte, ma alla fine farà come ho fatto io, cambierà linea di nutrienti per dei più economici ma alla pari come risultato.. I started to flush my plant in the middle of the sixth week, the leaves were completely emptied of their nutrients!! this plant is incredible, a smell of grapes, red berries, gas... on a fresh background, it's really nice It's finally Time to cut!!!

week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

Am Wochenende haben wir das Netz gespannt. 2/3 der Blütezeit hat sie jetzt ca. hinter sich gebracht. Nach dem ausharren und dem neutralisieren des gekippten Wassers, trat sehr schnell auch ein Mangel sehr vermutlich ,,Schwefel,, am Haupttrieb im obigen Bereich auf. Da wir aber so oder so in der ersten Woche mit erhöhtem Mineralien bedarf (Top- Max) uns befinden, ist dieses nach dieser Situation ein absolut positives Anzeichen, da es bedeutet das sie die Nährstoffe benötigt und somit auch verarbeitet. Auffallend und auch nicht mehr zu ignorieren sind die Thripse. Um diese kümmern sich aber ab Paketeintreffen die neuen Florfliegenlarven. Ansonsten haben wir beim Netzt Spannen noch kleine nachwachsende Stins weggenommen um wirklich alle benötigte Kraft in die Cola´s zu bekommen. Wir Gießen im Moment ca. alle 24 Stunden 4 Liter Nährstofflösung inkl. 0,08 g Co2_ Tablette und 4 ml PK14/15 Wir wünschen allen Growmies viel Erfolg und eine angenehme Woche! Seit dem 16.10.24 wird Sie nur noch 11 Stunden beleuchtet und statt 4 Liter mag sie im moment eher wieder die 3 Liter pro Tag Nährstofflösung.
