Mostly going well this week, I think mass has reached the same level as my last grow now with 5 weeks left to go... I am hoping to cut them down on the 13th of March 2020 which is 37 days from today... As long as the trichomes play ball and show me what I want to see - mostly cloudy, with 10 - 20% amber 🤞 One big issue I have, I realised today I must have accidentally pressed the 'random' button on one of my light timers. So one of the lights were on when I came in just before lights on today... I hope it won't screw things up :( Happy growing everyone!

It's officially week 4 of veg. What a ride! These ladies DO NOT give up and neither did i. Second grow, it is a learning curve. With all the growth stunned, i am a bit impatient. BUT the good news is the smallest have starting growing again. Anyways... 👽👉19/9 New automation program for this week. (See pictures for app screenshots for automation and datalogger) Temps - 21night/29day RH% - 60RH night / 68RH day My plan is to decrease the humidity at night, to increase the vpd. The same goes for my light output and nutrients. Changing the variables gradually over time. 👽👉20/9 I topped two more plants. The growth is gradually getting better. They should be ready for their first real feed tomorrow. (Only top fed them last watering) 👽👉21/9 ** First real feed. -They reacted well to a last lose dose top feeding, so this time i will give them a full feed, but same low dose. -Programmed new automation based on VPD Graf (see pictures) Set to 1.0 VPD. // Inkbird app, i am adjusting the RH% to the temp in the tent. -Did some experimental LST on one of the smaller ones. Dont have a co2 meter, but have co2 bag. But it has not been added as a variable to the climate calculations. 👽👉22/9 The new automation program has proven efficient and working(for now). Now its interesting to see the plants adapting the constant VPD. 👽👉23/9 Did some more LST work to keep the tallest ladies at level. 👽👉24/9 Visiting the ladies and checking up on the lst work. Tucking in leaves, plotting my next move. *Water day. they shared 5 Liter, where the bigger ones got more. PH 6.4 - EC 1.52 (Last water was PH 6.4 - EC 1.37) 1.5ml/L Bio heaven+Bio fish. (Next time they will get 2ml/L) 👽👉25/9 Turned up the lights from 75% to 100%. Temps are about to rise higher. might as well let the ladies get used to it.

Turned light to 12/12 start week 6 day 35. Defoliated the central cola's to allow the sides to catch up. She's stretching fast at the moment. I'll start feeding her from week 7

Lampe 80% power und nur noch 20cm platz, muss wohl nachbinden… Die krumbles haben einen Weg, sieht mir nach generellem Defizit aus aber vor allem wenig CalMag, oder war schon zu viel und ein lockout könnte durch Zugabe von CalMag provoziert werden. Wir werden sehen. Blätter sehen mies aus Blüten wachsen super, Harzproduktion geht weiter, Geruch wird immer stärker. Mycrene und Limonene liegen in der Luft;). Die Zake stinken extrem nach rohrzucker-hopfen leicht bitter, die krumbles sind beide sehr süs die b2 hat einen mehr als intensiven citrus Duft. Die Zake sind alle sehr unterschiedlich, nur der Geruch ähnelt. Z1 110cm , z2 95cm z3 85cm. Musste sie unterfüttern. Buds an jeglichen wichstyp angepasst. Hatte Glück 3 phänos zu treffen sativa lastig, ausgeglichen, indica lastig. Hoffe die Damen haben genau so viel Spaß wie ich :D

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. I did a last defoliation on the NL and left the WA flowering! I kept the nutrient as RQS recommends and for now I didn’t not have any problems beside some few yellow marks on some leaves but nothing really noticeable

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Last week of veg, starting 12/12 tomorrow as I'm starting to worry about space.. hopefully stretching isn't too much of an issue.. we shall see. I'm still not happy with my defoliation, I've been mostly removing large/damaged leaves and sucker branches off the bottom of the plants. I've been experimenting with the fan and scrog placement, placing one large fan oscillating below the canopy and two clip on fans above the tops and mostly using the scrog as a support for branches during flower as I somewhat failed to actually scrog.. Once again, any advice much appreciated and happy holidaze!
