Nugs not swelling up like I would like. But I’m really liking the purple I’m seeing on the one plant. Didn’t do much with the plants this week accept sit and watch them grow.

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

as the second week of June is just on it's end and the weather has had it's ups and downs with a lot of rain and some nice sunny days the plants keep growing day by day. The tallest plant reached a height of 86 centimeters or 33.85 inch so i'm getting close to the 1 meter mark. But hopefully they will grow much bigger as they have plenty of time left. Last year i a grew Blue Dream and a Chocolope in pots which reached a total height of 1,38 meter, which both yielded 30 grams each. What i should mention about the plants from last year is that the seeds weren't bought but came out of a friends weed. So this year it was all out with premium seeds, more knowledge and experience, great soil and hopefully the best weather

Plants continued to mature this week and all the buds are getting fat they will have there last nutrient feed this week in prep for flushing and harvest next week. The Lemon Zkittles looks and smells amazing looks amazing. Nearly all the plants look and smell the small, good genetics and breading. The Cxx is again a very stable genetics and flowered and smells exactly as the last grow did. Good genetics. The Peyote Cookies and Shishkaberry also grew well and similar, good genetics. Afghan Kush amazing buds and very earthy smell.classic The gorilla cookies had a rather large variation in pheno types but all look amazing and each will be a pleasure to smoke.

September 2, Day 43. I removed the trellis because it was annoying and I realized the spaces were too large and that's why it felt clumsy... Kabob sticks are doing the trick so far. As I was clipping some leaves to prepare for flowering, I noticed roots growing through the bottom of the pot. I hate transplanting plants so I sat the current pot in another pot that was filled 30% with additional coco coir that had been prebuffered with seedlings strength nutrients to avoid shock. I am confident the roots will continue their journey through the first pot and into the additional space below. Now to observe for a few days, aiming to switch to flowering next week. I have removed at least 30 leaves throughout the last week and she is still looking so bushy and healthy... Thanks Recharge. I clipped a branch and planted it in a prebuffered with seedling strength nutrients rockwool pellet... I baptized her Kaboom Baby.... And. She. Survived!!! Ahhhhh!!! So freaking happy! I am going to start a second grow under this diary called Kaboom Baby, La Reinita Africana. Update, Day 46, September 5, 11am. Fed and watered with all nutrients except Recharge. Everything has been going very well and strong the stretch in flowering is quite impressive I will say that doubles their height and more for sure the flawer are very very large and to be ready they require probably three more weeks to become more dense and heavy but they're looking great and the smell is very strong as well. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. Well I thought for sure I was going to harvest a few days ago. Looks like it’s going to be one more week. Only getting pH water at this point and no nutrients. Starting to get a little color shift in the leaves but nothing crazy. Bud is dense and smells absolutely amazing. Slight bit of a Fox trail going on but not bad at all. Turns out I was very lazy and never raised my light up for 3 weeks and they were getting 1,000+ PAR at the tops for 18hrs a day. A few more days till she gets cut.

04/01/21 Amazing colours have came through during cure showing off her red and purple! And she’s frosty all over and tastes like a tropical dream!mango pineapple tones with a side of lime! Would defiantly recomiod Update; colours are coming through got some amazing hues just uploaded some vids 😍 Got the green pheno on both???! But it’s but either way I love this strain tastes a lot like the black cream auto I’ve done of sweet seeds too. So many colours in the bud and the flavour is immense throughout! Tastes like tropical mango and slight pineapple with a lovely pungent limeish taste it’s so nice and the high sent me to sleep when I tested the result! Just had to lay there and close my eyes and enjoy it and woke up to the end of my film ahahah would defiantly recommend Anyone growing very easy and amazing results!

Day 76 she got the chop. Shes hanging in the dark drying. She smells divine blueberry and sweetness. I cant wait till she dries and i can give her a test smoke. She had 5 days in the dark and a flush. Cant wait to taste her.
