March 10 - 17, 2025 Lots of activity and growth in the tent this week. After resolving two run away events with the Blumat system and the carrots in Anastasia and Carol Anne that I think are finally resolved. Anastasia’s moisture curve is between 90 - 110 mbar. And the other two are also stable. They are going through about 1/4 of a gravity feed 5 gallon bucket mounted 5 ft above the soil and outside the tent for easy access. I am now mixing a bucket batch with 2.5 gallons of plain RO water ph leveled to 5.8 with an average temperature in the low 60 degrees. I am still using the 10 part - General Hydroponic nutrient line feed chart on week 4+ moderate feed and am mixing into two gallons on RO water with an average temperature of 60ish. Using the following nutrients in the exact order which is important to follow to avoid mixing issues. 2 gallons fresh Reverse Osmosis filtered water with a base zero EC level. Silica = 5ml Calmag = about 4ml General Hydroponics Flora Series 3 part nutrients: FloraMicro = about 11ml FloraGro = about 14ml FloraBloom = about 8ml Additives: - General Hydroponics FloraBlend = a out 10ml - General Hydroponics Floralicious Plus = 3ml - House & Garden HGDPC002 Drip Clean = 8ml Last step is to level ph to 5.8 My nutrient batch ends up at 5.8 ph with an EC level of 2.0 at about 60 degrees f. I then pour the 2 gallon nutrient mix into the 2.5 gallons of plain RO water to dilute the solution per sustainable village blumat system recommendations. The final batch usually requires a final ph spot check and minor adjustments. So far the planned schedule based on a current 4 day depletion rate will be to start with s fresh mixed batch as mentioned above. When the bucket level reaches 3/4 empty i replenish the bucket to 1/2 full using plain RO water ph leveled to 5.8. Then top off the bucket with another 2 gallons of nutrient rich mix as mentioned above. This increases the EC level to about 1.25. Then on the second reservoir depletion I will let the bucket drain to close to the empty level without letting it go dry. After the 2nd replenishment is almost gone i will do a 3 gallon hand watering with a mix of Real Growers Recharge - Mycorrhizae Instant Compost Tea/Soil Microbes mixed into each 1 gallon poured into each pot. This achieves 3 things, the first are the obvious benefits of better nutrient intake. It also allows for a good drain to waste to help flush salt buildups. Lastly it saturates the pot moisture levels down to the low 70-80mbar range and essentially temporarily deactivates the blumat system and prolongs the call for water and nutrients from the reservoir for an extra 12-24 hours until the pots dry out to the blumat carrots calibrated settings of about 110-120 mbar. I will have to adjust as I switch to flower but overall, now that the blumat system is dialed in and I understand it better I find tat it is very effective at keeping the tent environment more stable ad efficient. The plants seem happy as shit and maintain Ing a reservoir with a bi weekly hand watering flush is so much better than my old ways of mixing 2-3 gallon nutrient batches and hand watering/feeding and dry vacuuming it all up every two days is way better and less wastefull and more sustainable. So far It appears it was worth the investment and the test of my time and patience. The week was also full of a few defoliation snd lollipoping with plenty of scrog net low stress training to continue to fill out the canopy. Drizzella (right) is still stealing the show and dominating her presence in the tent with 30-40 potential cola points. Anastasia (left) is smaller than her sister but is responding well to all the LST and defoliation. DD he has significantly less potential cola points, but her fan leaves are larger but also softer or more silky feeling. Carol Anne (middle) continues to be a short stubborn and mesmerizing cultivar. She resembles a head of lettuce and is so strikingly different than her two cousins. I rounded out the week with continued VPD monitoring to maintain about 1 kpa with an average leaf temp offset of -3 degrees. I then pulled the Vivosun Aerolight 150SE led light from my smaller and currently dormant 3x3 tent and installed it in the 3x5 tent. Even though the AC infinity Ionboard is doing the job on its own. I added the second light for better light distribution across the tent as I was getting good DLi levels in the 30s in the middle of the tent but it tapered off to low 20s near the walls. After adding the second light I am now achieving PPFD rates of 500-600 and DLI levels in the low 30s from wall to wall and i think it will make a good impact on growth and a more efficient tent environment as The added circulation from the built in fan on the light, as well as increased heat generated from the lights is demanding less from the heaters.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 7 is it? How time is flying by. Day 42- still eating like pigs, so I'm bumping up the formula and doing 50/50 tap/RO for now on. Bubbled of course. Spots of calcium deficiency on GC here and there for the last week and I have seen a few spots on WG also. Still used 5mL calmag per gal as max dose to hopefully keep spotting from spreading. Raised my bucket to 374ppm prior to nutes. Decent defol tonight and I got a net back out to hold these down and spread em out as much as possible. One branch on WG has taken over as the main I guess and it's hard as f. Only place it's going is up lol.. 22in from the light as of RN, getting 37.2 DLI. Going to work up to 40 this week and see how they like it. GC really needs to hurry up. Can't let WG get too amber and can't leave dead rotting roots in the system right? Crossing my fingers GC hurries TF up in the end, or it may get cut early. RES change around 6pm tonight, modified week 2 bloom GHE medium. Breakdown as follows: 2gal water/calmag - 374ppm Hydroguard - 5mL Micro - 12.6mL Grow - 12mL Bloom - 15mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1453 @ 5.71. Plants 14in ^ Lights 22in ^ DLI 37.2 =========================================================================================== Day 43- McGuiver'd some external RES together tonight. Waterfarm site tube is now extended into a return line to the external RES. Small cat drinking fountain pump in the base of the external with a 1/4in fitting plastic welded on the 3/8 outlet of it. This thing trickles, just like I wanted. 1/4in line runs to my old fill port on the front of the waterfarm. Constant circulation from one res to the other. Waterfarm started life as a 2gal RES system. Roots fill it up and take up precious space. Roots were even coming out of the site tube lol. When I pump it out for a change lately, Im barely getting a gallon... side res and waterfarm combined now hold a little over 4gal now with the root mass filling a large portion of the farm. Ill actually measure one of these times. If I raise the farm up more, I can hold more in the side RES. 4 or so should cut it, they don't have much longer right? Filled with same formulation as last fill, just 4 or so gal instead of 2. Mixed 5, left with 1? in the bucket when I hit fill line. This may help conserve some water once I finally get their EC dialed in. Not only do I play my plants music throughout their day, I even sing to them from time to time.. Hopefully I don't lose any watchers with my horrible singing in the vid tonight 🤣🤣 =========================================================================================== Day 44- Why didn't I start this experiment off with an external RES? Damn the stability of more volume is a definite PLUS! Haven't had to adjust PH or top off 2 or more times a day since. Been letting the level drop and watching numbers while keeping PH in check. I think I've finally found a stable EC too. For now anyway. Water level drops, EC drops slightly, ph rises slightly. Taking almost 24hrs to swing from 5.61 up to 6.12 instead of 8-12hr. Been thinking about cutting back GC and just keeping it alive so dead roots don't disrupt WG but let WG finish as best it can. GC is THAT far behind from the looks of it. Trimmed em both up late in their day yesterday. Open it up a bit so the lowers on WG can bulk up too. Adding to the list of things I should have done differently and will share at the very end. =========================================================================================== Day 45- ditched the net AGAIN tonight. No leak, shit was just annoying being in my way. Also been thinking ALLOT about my choices in life... latest is why did I plant two diff strains in the same pot and how can I make the best of it? They don't grow at the same rate or eat the same. WG is a PIG! Thought long and hard and have made the decision to cut back GC some to give WG her room to bloom. WG didn't stretch much and GC is still going. Keep supercropping it to keep it out of the fan and same distance from the light as WG. I have to keep both alive till the end, unless I throw in the towel on GC at WG harvest and chop em both. Really don't want to waste the experiment, so I may get creative at the end. Only have the one tent and was planning on drying in it since I've got the closet its in dialed in. Really don't want to make a cardboard dry box... =========================================================================================== Day 46- Going to wean these girls off the N next RES change. GC is starting to stretch more, and still refusing to make the transition. maybe less N will do the trick?? kick up the bloom a bit as well. WG is ready for it for sure. GC may have an issue with it, but she'll survive. gave em both a defol before lights out today. heavier on GC than WG since WG isnt bushing up as fast as she used to. the light frosting is getting more populated also. side RES is working out beautifully! =========================================================================================== Day 47- little prune on GC today to keep it out of WG's way. Plucked a few here and there off WG to keep it opened up. Colas everywhere! Going to be one short dense plant that's for sure. If GC gets to a finish, it's going to be a bunch of popcorn from the looks of it. Time will tell. =========================================================================================== Day 48- light prune on GC to keep it out of the way, since its decided to be like 3wk behind WG. maybe tonights RES change will punt it in gear, and itll start exploding in flowers... yeah, i smoked before typing this so the pipe dreams are real on this one.. dialing back the calmag plus (since it has N in it) to 4mL a gallon. dialing back the N in the modified formulation from GHE week 3 "mid bloom" medium feed. formulation as follows: Tap/Zero Water - 2.5gal/2.5gal 81ppm calmag plus - 20mL ^ to 307ppm Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148ppm @ 5.63. Measured the total volume needed to fill both the waterfarms RES and the external RES and it came to 18.4L. i scooped nearly every drop out of the side RES, but didnt even tilt the waterfarm. so there was prob a quarter to a half gal left in the farm. safe to say roughly 19L capacity. a HUGE increase from a measly 8L from factory. thats before roots fill the RES too, leaving you with NOTHING for water/nutes. so ill have to measure once again when the system is empty and see the true total volume without fillers. tis the end of week 7 i suppose. i will update the timelapse tomorrow afternoon to wrap up the week. i have a 3 week day 27-47 vid on YT if you're actually reading this and want to see the up to date clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKtqPxKeMNM *edit* looks like GC is finally starting to hit the transition harder closer to end of the day today looking at vid.. =========================================================================================== As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my current grow experiment. If it's your first time, check out previous weeks for their daily updates, pics, timelapse, blah blah blah.. you still reading this shit?? 🤣

She's looking gorgeous on her 3rd week it's just a wonderful strain to grow, let's see how she performs,I prepare a super soil mix using guanokalong organic dry amendments so I can't tell you about mililiters exactly because that's just not the way I like growing,I also add lactobacillus which are an awesome bacteria, every time I add lactobacillus to their water they just love it,the next day they get suuper green, obviously all the bacteria and humic acids from batguano worm castings and all of that helps,so I recomend if you're growing organic investigate a little about lactobacillus and how to prepare the lactobacillus liquid. Wish you all the best in your projects guys! 💚♥️💛🌱

12/01/2021 FIMed all plans a second time, and also FIMed the tips of the other main branches of all plants. They will get another dose of Recharge with their next feeding tomorrow. 12/04/2021 I fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. 12/05/2021 I gave all the girls a second major defoliation. I plan to switch to 12/12 flower cycle this Tuesday evening. 12/06/2021 I removed a few leaves and fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. These girls are doing excellent. They have responded very well to the major defoliation that they received. I will flip them to the 12/12 flower cycle in a day or two I believe. I uploaded a couple of pictures of the strains I plan to grow in the future, which is mostly Humboldt Seed Company genetics.

This week has gone well. 6 plants in such a small space is playing havoc with the humidity but I feel I'm just about on it enough not to cause any rot. The Caramelicious is just plain awesome so far, bending the main cola 90 degrees hasn't effected her at all. She has a couple of issues but she is my favourite so far. Day 15, having a right week of it!!! Thought I was on top of the chlorosis (Thinking Ca/Mg issue) and then I start getting issues that make the plants look like they're getting N Toxicity!!! Now, in all fairness, by fixing the Ca/Mg issue, I may have created an N issue - My CalMag does appear to have N in it - @Shogun any helpful ideas here for me please??? :) What getting me is plants are drinking (Not massive amounts, but they are drinking), EC is staying stable and have standard pH drift of about 0.1/day towards neutral, this should be bang on. Roots are good as they're popping through bottom of the root pouch/air pruner pots (These are 12L each so a number of roots are over 6inches long this would mean) and growing into the run off water (I may mod my Wilma and make it a psuedo bubbler too but then this may cause all sorts of issues with my expected water volumes, etc.!!!). Wondering if anyone on here has had issues with either wind burn (From a 7" oscillating fan) or seen low humidity issues in veg that could maybe help? I am going to grab a humidifier for the tent (Should be here Wednesday) to see if that helps (Liberally spraying the place with pH adjusted water, added open water sources to the tent, etc.). Also, with the roots popping through, may grab some Sensizym to clean up dead root material & fulvic to ensure no salt build up round the roots. As I am stumped by what I am seeing (Things seem to contradict each other), I ran 2L of pH adjusted water through each plant on Sunday 30th and held of feeding to ensure salt build-up wasn't happening in the clay, round the roots. This has topped the tank back off to around 50L, brought my CF down to 10 (1ec) and I dropped feeds to 3 per day (15mins after lights on for 15mins, 1 in the middle of the cycle and 1x15 near lights off). The fact there was no EC upping with such a small amount of water, again makes me think the "Nute Burn" isn't caused by the feeding and possibly by humidity (or lack there off - it can get down to 35% in there). I know it goes against all the SOP's, but in general, the air coming out of my tent is cool; It does go into the main room where the tent is, but is a large cabin and has the door open most of the day with kids running in and out of the other room (I have a security gate to keep them out!!! :P Also, the airflow crosses my ballast, keeping it cold to the touch); until the humidifier arrives, can i recirc the air back into the tent to up the humidity? I have a dehumidifier in the room (On but set to 90) to check the humidity in the main room and it is creeping up (Was at 63% there when I was re-doing LST while tent was at 44%). My lights on period is 4pm to 10am but don't want to turn the fan off as the tent is beside a SW facing wall so is getting heat for a couple of hours before Sundown (around 9pm now). Or, would it do much damage to change to 6pm to noon for lights on? Don't want more of a shock to their system as they've settled into 18/6 from a 24hr under CFL at seedling. Again, anyone who sees this and may be able to help, please do! Day 19 and 21 added
