SO this is my second grow of this strain, this plant shared a 120x120 tent with another Magic Melon and 2 Gorilla Cookies from Fast Buds (Amazing Strain) Very happy with large feedings, and now that she is alone in the tent, I can publish some good information about this strain as other diaries for this strain do not seem to do it justice. From previous grow, which was summer here so 40 degree C days, was growing at around 33C and obviously feeding it around 2.5 litres a day - but she did it and the smoke was great, this time around since the temps are in the normal ranges, Im hoping for less terpene loss and a much better smoke, great strain from HUMBOLDT - Im guessing this harvest will be in the 150 g Dry Weight Range, the previous 2 I grew in Summer at those very high temps yielded 220g between them.

The girls bounced back very nicely from their topping! They are growing out, rather than up and are on their way to filling out my tent. I will be transplanting these ladies next week, probably to a 4 gallon tall pot. I am thinking I want to flower sooner rather than waiting the typical 8 weeks of Veg that I usually do…

This week I found a hermaphrodite amongst the ladies. I got rid of it but not before it dropped a little pollen 😭.. I,ve got my fingers crossed 🤞

Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew. This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know. I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter. Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM. Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF. Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better. Welcome to my next grow/experiment! Really excited to grow my first Mephisto Genetics! I have too many options so my girlfriend picked these seeds to grow first. I have plans to top once and hopefully be successful at making a clone to reverse. From there I’d like to maybe make some F1, and S1 seeds as well as breed it with the cultivar sharing the tent: Fastbuds Amnesia Zkittlez. This freebie seed had a slower start but they all popped! Started off germinating on Saturday 2/3 by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours before transferring to a wet paper towel. On Tuesday 2/6 tap roots were present (one was barely coming out) and they were moved to rapid rooter plugs and put into a humidity dome. On 2/11 they had sprouted up 1.5” and were transferred to the top fed RDWC system. Filled the reservoir following General Hydroponics 10 part chart at light strength and diluted by 50%. SE7000 is ~30” above at 40% providing ~270ppfd.

At day 84 from seed, 38 days since the switch to 12-12, she is a little closer to my light than I want. She looks happy to me though so I hope I get away with it. She is just entering that part of her life cycle where she is developing and putting on weight. Not much to do much wait and see if she ends up too close to my light and if she'll need support later in flower.

Week 23 november - 29 november 23 november - D1 flower I watered a little too much. as it is colder I will start giving 1.5L of water instead of 2L. this one suffered more than the others and ended up yellowing a little , but slowly it is recovering, I hope ehehe 29 november - D7 flowering

The flowers are growing and as 10 days are passed from the previous subministration of micronutrients, I added them to the nutrient solution. The plant reacted well with the nutrients.

Pineapple in the Parlour! End of week 5 for these two beauties. I've fed them twice with the same feed as week 4 but both times supplemented 1ml per litre with Canna Nitrogen and 0.5 of BioGreen Calgel. They've responded perfectly changing to a luscious deep green colour and nearly doubled in size! I'm putting this down to many factors but have to give some credit to my new Ecotechnics Unis Co2 doser. It took a few days for the plants to respond but they have had a great burst of growth in the last 72 hours. At the beginning of the week I struggled with some environmental issues and these plants looked lacking in calcium but you wouldn't know if you looked at them today. Both beautiful and green! I'm hoping that by next week they will start showing signs of flower as I'm training them to go under a scrog and dont actually want them to get too big. The reason for this is because i have 2 Six Shooter in the tent also and want to give them enough space to show me just how good a strain they are. Ahhh But...... afterall this is my competition grow and I want these Pinapple to flourish and yeild the best they can. Hence why I'm investing heavily in my environment. As well as the Co2 I've also added an additional 300w LED into the tent. Its actually the light I used to veg these plants but I have ordered a new light for my veg box and I'm not about having lights sat around 😁 Fingers crossed these girls make the flip at some point this week. P Update: Day 39 added a few more photos of these beautiful Pinapple! I think FastBuds should have named them Amazon Express because this canopy is thick!!!! I think they are just showing their first signs of flower which is great so I may do a little bit of defoliation tomorrow or Saturday. Some of the biggest fan leaves are the size of my hand and taking up a lot of that valuable canopy light. As these are going under the net I'm just constantly tucking them under as they grow a couple of inches per day. Everything going really well with this grow I'm really optimistic.

Hey guys! This week my pheno #1 was harvested after 12 days of flush. I forgot to mention that I've been flushing her before the others because she matured her trichomes earlier. She also started to flower a little more than a week before so I was expecting it. :) It was a good run for her I think, ended up with some dense buds that are drying in my dyi dry box, because I still have two other plants running in the tent. My house smells good 👍 I thought about doing the flush in the other two like I said last week, but watching their trichomes development I gave them one more week of feeding, because I think they still have some bulking to do. About the harvest of #1: I've ended up with 334g wet weight, and I will share all the photos and data in the harvest week with all together. Some of the buds are so frosty and they have like small resin balls that dripped from some parts! I've never seen this before in any grow of mine, but I've seen this at another diary here from the same strain. What a pleasant surprise! Have you all a great week, Felix ✌️
