Durban Poison – The Bush Queen This girl’s exploding like fireworks on New Year’s! New shoots popping out everywhere – it’s a damn jungle down there. I gotta get ruthless soon: Light lollipopping’s coming to clear those lower branches. She needs airflow, not a mosh pit. Hardest part? Deciding what to chop without butchering her. Wish me luck. Blueberry – The Elegant Giant My god, she’s beautiful. Textbook structure – like one of those fake plants in grower magazines, except real and stretching past 2 meters. After staking her? Week 11: Pineapple Poison - The Neverending Leafpocalypse! ☔️✂️ Yo growmies! Mother Nature decided to play catch-up with the rain this week, and let me tell you, the Pineapple Poison took full advantage! Over 20mm of rain in seven days, and this girl exploded like a popcorn kernel in a microwave! We're officially at 138cm now, which is basically towering over my raised bed. It wasn't just height, though. New shoots and leaves popped up like green confetti. So, guess who spent most of the weekend playing hairdresser again? This gal! It was a mainlining marathon. As Bobolancetti put it wisely in the comments: we need to start thinking support for those colossal colas. Less foliage also means better wind resistance, which is crucial here in Brandenburg, land of the giant wind turbines. We can't have our Pineapple Princess getting blown over by a rogue gust! The only thing missing? Flowering. Still nowhere to be seen. *insert cricket noise* Listen, this growth spurt is awesome, but the weekly deleafing routine is getting a little…well, lengthy. My arms are feeling it! Maybe next week, the flowering fairy will finally take pity on us and get this party started? A girl can dream…. 9-15-20 So I Have definitly in this past week have flowering. Thankfully so far no one around my area has a male plant because they are female. The root system is notably bigger as well because it took a lot of water before the pot started to drain. I did a bunch of fan leave cutting and everything seems to be going good. The photos are kinda crappy sorry maybe later in the week I'll try too take better ones.

Update: 5 weeks of flowering complete. Gorilla widow started to hermie a bit on the bottom. I made the mistake of not removing enough popcorn buds and they didn’t get any light. I cut them all off the plant and now hoping it doesn’t hermie the rest of plant due to shock. We shall see, no big deal tho. The bigger deal... stayed at my Gf place from Friday- Sunday came back Sunday to find out the ballast for 1000watt had died!!! Ordered a new ballast and it will be here by Wednesday. For now I’m using an old 600 watt cool tube.
