We enter the second full week of flower. I went and got some nutes to start adding in sparingly to the watering sessions. Mild mix from Foxfarms of their Tiger Bloom formula. I didn't catch that the large plant's leaves were curling pretty tellingly so I didn't realize I was about to overload the nutes for that plant when I should have been flushing for a week. I had supercropped this large plant as it was 6" taller than the others but it bounced back so quickly. Five colas snapped and turned 90 degrees, bounced back in a day or two. It did allow the others to catch up a bit. I find that the one potential male I removed was 100 a male as it now had well developed pollen sacs. I had this plant outside alonside the other two potential herm/males. I put the two questionable ones on the roof and chopped the male down.

This week I added CO2 to the garden. My pH in the DWC dipped to 4.6 which was scary. I knew something was wrong bc usually I'm adding water every 36 hours and it was still alot left. I adjusted it to 6.1 and hopefully she recovers...I must say the dwc is so sensitive compared to soil..good grief. During week 4 they only got hit with nutes once then water throughout the rest of week. Update: I decided to drain the dwc and just put in 1gal of water at 5.8 pH. I'm being extra cautious since it's up in the air if the issue is light burn or nutrient deficiencies. Update: Two days before the end of week 5. The purple punch is doing great so far..glad I took cuts. Ice cream cake is absorbing nutrients but the pH is still dipping to the 4s almost every 6 to 8 hrs. I'm just going to keep adjusting the pH and keep her rolling.

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Buds are starting to widen up, Looking nice and dense. Overall both look great.. Leaf tips started to burn a tiny bit so I backed light up couple inches. The C99 has about two weeks left. Everywhere I read it was 7 weeks to flower..Red Diesel still has like 3 to 4, I read around 9 weeks for that.. I’ll jus keep eye on tricomes.. But thank God everything is good ..

Lovely grow from start to finish. Hit is harder than the 10% THC suggests. The high is extremely mellow and the taste is sweet like mangoes. Looking forward to the hash from the trim. May even run this one again along with the higher THC non-CBD Blue Dream next run. Love it.

Transplant to 3g -----> LOVE TRANSPLANTING!! Gives you a chance to check the root ball, you don't want to your girls to be root bound. The right size pot for the plant is crucial for a plant to remain healthy its entire life cycle. Using a tote works great for mixing the Cocoa Coir bricks in. Transplant went well and root mass looked awesome! You don't want to see your roots wrapped around a million times as that is what is referred to as root bound. I could have transplanted sooner as there was some wrapping of roots. Hard time getting feeding under control. Each plant started to absorb its own different amount each feeding. Mid to end of the week clear signs of overwatering and again was battling the heat issue caused by the lights. Deficiencies were starting to show.

We couldn't find time to pump these buds with nutes. I'm disappointed that right at the end we couldn't tend to these like they needed. The buds are small but they are super frosty and loud. They smell strong like lemony tang. We will get a few more pics this week before harvest.

My harvest was trimmed bud at 217.3 grams, then smaller buds, and some leaf material was 59.3 grams. Easily a half pounder auto under a 100 watt Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. 9/29/21 - We are marking today the first day of veg. That Mars Hydro TSW 2000 is doing a great job at 50% power. The plants all look great today! 9/30/21 - They look good. We are giving them water with no nutrients for this week so they will transplant nicely. 10/1/21 - They look great! I’ve been misting them in the morning. Soil is still wet from the transplant watering. We are waiting on fans and a scrog net. 10/2/21 - They are looking very good today. We mist them daily, sometimes twice a day. 10/3/21 - All plants look great! We stopped misting them for now. They look over watered a tad. We know it’s early but we started LST on a couple of the taller ones. 10/4/21 - Looking good! Just cruising along at 50% power, watering when dry. I know they won’t be low maintenance in a couple weeks when they are bushes. 10/5/21 - They look great! The ladies in the back are doing some LST still since they are much taller. It’s safe to say the roots are expanding and the plants overall are growing.
