Mainly because it's gotten too big and heavy to take out of the tent comfortably. The branches are all leaning over, and the buds are starting to finish up now. I have to take the loop to it to check the trichomes, but I think in another week or a little longer I'll be able to chop her down. Man I'm so excited to see what she brings to smoke!! The 2nd load of seeds i introduced h202 2days after tap root sprouted and HydroSol on day 3. I'd like to title this Diary entry Screw You Advanced Nutrients. 7th week done.. 3 weeksish left on the Lsd-25 and 4 weeksish on the purple Lemonade.. Gonna be some chunky mothers. Purple coming up everywhere, pretty colours. Oh yes we are very pleased so end of 7th week for these ladies and stretching has stopped thank goodness and we are now into bud building/mass building. The two lsd-25 plants definitely went into full flower "mode" sooner. The Colorful lady seems to have benn mass building all week. Probably gonna have different harvest windows on these ladies. Was hoping for same time but it's okay we are creative and will figure a way ahead. There is some CO2 being fed in the tent. With a smaller co2 bucket. We will be trying out a new one for us and it is a product called dense from green planet. We will using dense when the regular reservoir change is suppose to happen. Before we feed only Dense we will be prepping the ladies with an extra feeding of GP3 micro. Buffering the leaves and prepping the uptake for the feeding. So with dense there will be only a feed of Dense with UC roots and ph down. The formula of dense is 0-0-62 so this is a very concentrated Potash supplement. We will be using 1/2 recommended doses as per our system and it's requirements. This will run for 4-5 days and significantly increase the Amount of Potash in the Plant fear not.. The next 2-3 days will run with just phed water then onto P-k spiking with Bloom Booster alone. At this stage Massive Bloom formulation would be great as well but we wanna cut out our nitros while still have some micros.. So we will feed smaller amounts of GP3 Micro with Powdered bloom booster, rezin and liquid weight. Right up until we do a 3 day flush before harvest. Nutrients and Light is the idea so we will see turn outs and everything. If you are wondering what is the difference between the plants and the lady on the left looks so burnt. Left side only fed Flora Series w/ Advanced Nutrients supplements the plants on the right side is fed only Flora Series with Green planet supplements. The nutrient formulas provided in this diary are for right plants only. We can not express the amount of disgust we feel towards Advanced Nutrients as we spent good money on their product and feel genuinely ripped off. The words smelly disgusting mess describe what happened when we added big bud to left side. Bottle smells fine but the Formula is obviously way off as we did not have issues like this when using it the first dozen or so times. We will be using chemical nutrients and powders for life now and will not use Advanced Nutrients again or recommend it for anyone. The Organic Big Bud Formula is no good for hydroponic growing and they obviously rushed it to market to make money..... We really wanted to finish with Advanced Nutrients being the supplement on the left side but we can not. The product itself has basically made it impossible to continue confidently using any Advanced Nutrients labeled as both Organic and Safe for hydroponics. The proof is in the pudding and so glad and happy really now that we are using Green Planet and continue on this trend of cleaner greener growing and a more intelligent approach. On a further note just to go a bit further Bud Candy for example contains sugars that are basically present in Black Molasses. So what they've basically done is filtered and bleached Black Molasses and watered it down and are selling it to us at around 40 bucks a litre. Bunch of crooks Screw you Advanced Nutrients.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

The streach continued and growth was good. Bent the taller branches down for a semi uniform canopy. Buds are building and all is well. With the warmer summer temperatures the room became a bit too hot and humidity was too high as well. Turned the A/C on and within a few hours the temp dropped down to 75 and humidity to 51%. Went away for the weekend so I will see what it is like when I get back. I dropped the veg nutrients and am feeding bloom and cal-max with molasses. Need to figure out and fine tune the whole temperature thing. This coming week I will do a full leave strip. Once that is done I will fine tune the canopy. Thanks for looking.

Week 9 From Seed Sour Diesel — 12/12 From Seed (≈ Week 4 Flower) First, a quick recap for anyone joining the journey now. This Sour Diesel had a rougher start compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the run she experienced stress that slowed her development, which is why she remains smaller than the other plants in the room. That said, plants have an incredible ability to recover when given the right environment and a little patience. And despite her size, she is now building beautiful flower structure and starting to frost up nicely. Sometimes the smaller plants still carry the biggest character. ⸻ Current Room Conditions The room is currently running slightly on the warm and humid side, but this is intentional and carefully controlled. Environment • Canopy temperature: ~28°C (gradually tapering toward ~26°C) • Relative humidity: ~70% (slowly being reduced toward ~60%) • CO₂: 1000+ ppm through passive enrichment • PPFD across canopy: 800 → 1300 µmol This might look risky on paper, but the room has very strong airflow and constant air exchange, including inner-canopy movement. Good airflow changes everything. Without proper air movement these numbers would be dangerous, but with healthy circulation and CO₂ availability, the plants are able to metabolize efficiently. ⸻ Nutrient Program (Current Week) Feed EC: ~2.4 Soil EC: ~0.9 Current weekly top feed includes: • CalMag Pro • Terra Bloom (base nutrient) • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • Vita Race (foliar where applicable) ⸻ Why Power Buds and Green Sensation Now At this stage the plant has fully entered generative growth. The stretch phase is finishing and the plant is shifting energy toward flower development and resin production. Power Buds Power Buds helps signal the plant to transition more strongly into flower formation. At this stage we want the plant focusing on bud site development and structure, and this additive helps push that direction. Green Sensation Green Sensation comes in as a flower booster, supporting: • bud weight • terpene production • resin development • potassium and phosphorus availability during peak demand Around week 4 of flower, plants start increasing nutrient demand for flower building, which is why this product becomes relevant now. ⸻ Why Power Roots Was Removed Early in the run the focus is on root system establishment. Power Roots is excellent during: • seedling stage • early vegetative growth • transplant stress But once the root system is already developed and the plant has entered full flowering mode, the focus shifts from root expansion to flower production. At this point it becomes more beneficial to direct the feeding program toward generative growth rather than root stimulation. ⸻ A Quick Note on Leaf VPD Leaf VPD is always something to keep in mind, but we won’t go too deep here since we’ve covered it in previous reports. What matters most is that: • temperature • humidity • airflow • light intensity are all working together. Even though humidity is currently around 70%, the strong airflow and active transpiration keep the plants functioning properly. The leaves are still able to transpire and regulate themselves efficiently. ⸻ Plant Development Despite the smaller plant size, the flower formation is looking excellent. Bud sites are stacking well and trichome production is already beginning to show. She is starting to frost up nicely, almost like a light snowfall on the sugar leaves. The structure is surprisingly elegant for a plant that had a slower start. Sometimes the plants that struggle early end up showing the most personality later in flower. ⸻ What to Expect Next Week Over the coming week we should begin to see: • increased bud stacking • calyx swelling beginning • more visible trichome development • stronger aroma production The plant should now start focusing more energy on resin production and flower density. If conditions remain stable, the next weeks will likely show the true character of this Sour Diesel. ⸻ Final Words To everyone following this journey: Thank you. Both are veging good. Will start LST this week if they stretch out a bit more. It appears the AK received a partial FIM when topped. Should be an interesting grow.

Buds plumping up now the tallest of the 3 strains I’m running now but it’s also the least in diameter and canopy density but it’s good for the density it has I still have to defoliate but no where near as often as say the Alaskan purple witch I have to pull 5 to 8 leaves a day and no matter how many you pull the center of the plants like a jungle.

Dates aren't lining up well since I didn't document the germination process . From now on each new post will start with what day the plants are on e.g "Day 20" Day 46 They have grown a lot since last week event though I've neglected them a little. They're showing signs of what I believe to be a nitrogen and phosphorus deficiency. Maybe some cal-mag too. I let them dry back too far a couple times in the past week. I probably should've transplanted sooner, but here we are! Transplanted into 5 gallon plastic pots with extra drainage holes drilled into the bottom. I have not been good recently with taking pictures and note keeping. My process for transplanting was the same as the 1 gallon process. I mixed together FFHF potting soil with roughly 15% worm castings, and roughly a 3-4 cups of perlite. Gently removing the plants from the 1 gallon pot; I used a water bottle to wet the root mass with some de-chlorinated tap water ph'd to 6.5. I then evenly distributed a heaping tablespoon of Xtreme Gardening Mykos Mycorrhizae over the moistened root mass. Into the middle of pre filled 5 gallon pot, I added a little more Mykos before inserting the plant into it's new home. I added more soil mixture and lightly packed them in. Then I watered 1.5L of plain de-chlorinated tap water ph'd to 6.5. No defoliation, I'm letting them bounce back after transplanting. In hindsight they definitely needed a feeding of nutrient solution and an increase in volume watered as well. Whoops.

Day 27 since flipping to flower. Day 19 since first pistils appeared. Man, she is getting frosty! Starting to develop a sweet fruity type smell. Getting some color changing on the leaves due my Temps dropping more at night. Struggling to keep her from being so bushy. Will probably do one mor nice defoliation within the next few days and let her ride til the end. She's looking good. Let me know what yall think!

One more week up wee go , and dude are they going hehehe , i had some life to my room and im giving the stretch times but asap i will apply deep and hard defoliation with should be enough until almost the end of cycle. And defoliation day came and with it a second net to help support future buds, i was gona go harder on them but lol im happy with the new haircut lol Gave them a strong full feeding with it and had some conditioner to my soil to help braking death mater and also gave them nome nematodes to fight fungus nets larvas and help control the life on my soil. For now thats all im doing , i will keep monitoring this fungus net and springtails etc that came with the time of the year and with the fact that im growing fully mineral organic .
