Bloom Mode On 🌺⚡️ Big shift this week—after 24 weeks of vegging, I’ve officially flipped the light cycle to 11/13 and kicked off flowering! She’s standing strong and ready for the next chapter. You can even catch the tent peeking in the background on the pics.🏕️💡 Why now? In my region, September and October tend to be wet, and I’d rather not risk losing these gorgeous buds to mold. Plus, the high summer sun is peaking, and I want to give her the best light intensity possible for an explosive bloom. ☀️🔥 She’s still running on the same feeding routine as my autoflowers—Effective Microorganisms a few days ago, followed by a dose of BioBizz Grow and Alg·A·Mic to keep her both green and stress-free as she stretches into flower. 💧🌿 To keep her strong and resilient, I’m also spraying silica on the leaves every three days—just a little armor for the battles ahead. 🛡️🌱 Let’s see what she does with all that sunlight and freedom—this Red Hot Cookies is about to turn up the heat! 🍓🌶️🚀

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Both started to flower faster than I wanted. I would have preferred another week of veg. Blooming nutes were transitioned during this week. Mimosa is smaller then her counterpart, but is smelling stronger.

36 to 42 Tuesday Day 36 Been seeing pistils about 4 days now. Going to let the autopots drain out and start quarter bloom nutes. D37 Started 1/4 nutes @ 680ppm (see above) D38 Lights from 450w to 475w at 16-20". VPD on point. Just keeping canopy even right now. Supercroping the main stem for the third time. Feels like plant abuse now. D39 They are thirsty. Will start filling the res more with more water. Lowered GROW from 100% to 50% Increased BLOOM from 25% to 50% Increased mix from 680ppm to 720ppm mid week. All other ratios remain the same as above. Solo Cup seeing slight burn @ 680ppm. I was expecting it. Dropping down to ~550 for a bit. D40 Lights increased from 475w to 500w. Will most likely move the fixture closer and drop the wattage back down with that uniform coverage!!! #geekbeast D42 Res is empty again. 12/09/2022 - 36 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The first week of flowering my Mandarine XL 🍊🍊🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - This week I adjust the dose of nutrients to support flowering and added nutrients - flowering stimulators: Jungle Urban A: 0.5 ml Jungle Urban B: 1.5 ml Jungle Urban M: 1 ml Flower stimulators: Jungle Environ X: 1ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy 2 ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Ignitor 1 ml Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 2ml Hesi Root Complex - 5ml - last week of adding this nutrient Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand, I give the same as in vegetation: 0.5ml. Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. Week 5: The little ladies have moved into new digs (except the runt. She still resides in her little red solo. Her next home will be the 10 gallon potting bags. DP1,4 and 5 have all been moved to 6 inch potting containers with new potting mix. I know Miracle Grow potting mix isn't great. But it's what is available in the sticks. I started seeing some yellowing in the leaves of 1 and 4. I decided they were nutrient hungry because the cotykedons had shriveled and fallen off. The DP's forever home will eventually be a 25 gal potting bag. Plenty of room for those roots to stretch! Im expecting a good size plant. I'm not going for height. But with the growth capability, topping and training should be fruitful. If you look at the photo, you can see the progression of size the plants will go through, ending in the 25 gal bags. With the new containers and dirt, watering had increased to about 260mL per pot. Runt is still getting 60mL. I will be trying something. 4 plants = 2 trellis and 2 tie down methods. All 4 will get topped. Lets see what happens! Marigolds update: they went through a touch of shock moving to their forever homes. But I think they are coming back around. Keep close to find out what color they come up! -Keep growing and stay mindful. ✌️
