D15. We're starting the third week, and neither of the girls looks all that great. The first girl is more prominent but has twisted leaves and even one burnt leaf. On the other hand, the second girl is considerably smaller and has interveinal chlorosis. I think it is pretty clear that neither likes the new top-dressing. It's my first time using castings from this local worm farm, but I doubt they are at fault. Instead, I think I f*cked up with a top-dressing too "hot" for such small plants. We'll see what happens... ------------------------------ D17. The first girl is definitely looking better, and I "believe" the second one also does. There's still hope! I wouldn't be concerned if these were photos, but with autos, any hiccups during veg can be devastating. ------------------------------ D21. We're at the end of the third week, and things are looking up. At least for the first girl, she looks better daily, and her new leaves aren't twisted. On the other hand, the second one has been smaller from day one, and she still looks like a runt with pale leaves. There isn't anything to report since I have simply left them alone to do their thing. DLI set to 25. -----------------------------

I got the purple pheno at last !! So glad actually... that it is actually changing colour and with so many more weeks left for it to continuously transition. Totally what I’m looking for in future breeding projects. Black amnesia haze fast: for its rooting and overall vigorous performance. Creating good yields each run And this one I’m still waiting to see how she goes! Way more grows in the future!

This lovely lady is on the mend from a little bit of light burn. Adjusted the light with my digital watt meter (easily picked up off Amazon for 20$ ) and she is bouncing back. RH has been steady at 65% this week with temps hitting 78-79 degrees before my in-line fan takes care of it. Increased watering amount to about 350 ml per feed, while also adding 1 more ml of the Sensi cal mag to the mix. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Cherry Cola diesel smell ⛽️

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. This Sexy Moma grew 9 inches this past week.!! And, it started to flower. I am really please at her growth and fullness. This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Second Time Around Candy continues to grow. It is beautiful and very full. All nutrients during this grow are from @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice. It is touted as the only nutrient that I will need. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. Based on Sexy Moma's growth, I would say it is working!! The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As always, Let’s Chat it up AND Likes and comments are appreciated

Week 7 green space looking amazing

Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. Ladies are growin' up fat and shine, despite the hot summer here 😋 2 different growbox and 2 different light for those sisters, but i'm shure that harvest will be gold! that's the way, just a few veg days more and one box is not enough 😄 Be care of yourself! My #1 plant is huge and doing amazing. Looks like loose soil is the way to go, not ever using root riots again- all the small plants were planted in root riots, but they’re catching up!

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. The plants look great. Little bit of thrips damage, but other wise, they look great. Started flushing on Sun. They'll get ph adjusted tap water twice a week... with the run off, draining back into the reservoir. Plant #1 smells like lemon with some mango hints. plants #2 and #3 smell fruity with citrus hints. Will start the harvest on Aug 11th and it should take about 5 days to harvest or maybe 6. It depends on how tired I am and if I need a nap on one of those days to keep my energy up. I also put the buds into curing bags after 3 days hanging, which takes up more time. I've got some other plants to put in their places. and that will take us up to Oct. for that harvest. It's the Mac and Crack Diary. 3.2.2024: Start of week 7 from seed. Fed 1/4 fox farm trio nutes plus calmag. 64oz at 6.5ph. There's some clear nute burn on the leaf tips but she's doing well. Main cola is stacking nicely. Few random orange hairs here and there. 3.3.2024: Day 44 from seed. Steady as she goes. No change to current state. 3.4.2024: Watered 64oz at 6.5ph. Chugging along. 3.5.2024: Day 46. Buds are forming nicely. Clipped 8 fan leaves blocking bud sites. 3.6.2024: Day 47. Fed again at 1/4 strength probably around 3/4 gal at 6.5ph. Runoff is 6.49 at 1100ppm. 3.7.2024: Day 48. Nothing doing today. Main cola is stacking nicely, outer branches have some good but smaller buds. Long way to go but no idea how these will fatten up. 3.8.2024: Day 49, end of week 7 from seed. Watered 96oz at 6.38ph. Runoff ppm at 1050 with ph at 6.7. She appears to being doing great. Super stoked to see the bud development over the past week.

This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are not perfectly aligned there is something that escapes upwards but it is normal in the economy of a plant. The flowering fertilizers have helped us to return in a very short time to a good balance now we go straight to making great buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The flat has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative growth but let's move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program which maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I find myself very very well even more than Alga Grow which sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Probably try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet.
