Hello everybody :) End of the seventh week of flow. Wild Thailand and Power Plant are a bit hungry so I gave them an extra dose of P/K. You can clearly see them eating the leaves from upper parts. SSH has calmed down and it's blooming nicely :) Everything looks very tasty - Critical Haze smells like tangie and Wild Thailnd as a sweet mango :) WoW!

Chopped one before vacation and off to dry while I'm in Ireland and the UK, leaving the other one to keep going and chopped on return.

WEEK 16 - (06/13/2021 - 06/19/2021) Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021 After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too. Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉ + pH Up: 7ml Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 895/800, 6.1 pH AP#1 - 529/434, 6.5 pH AP#2 - 365/270, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 624/529, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021 Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there. I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity). That wraps up this week! Such a stunning little beauty! She's almost ready for harvest, just waiting for a few more trichome heads to turn amber; aiming for a ~20%'ish rate. Buds are looking massive and dense and are accompanied by some pretty frosty leaves. The smell has developed into a rather tart and herbal aroma with most of the citrussy scents gone by now. So excited! Can't wait to chop her up and taste these fascinating terps :D Hopefully she's gonna be all ready in a week! Decreased the amount of nutrients we're giving her a bit further by fertilizing only once this week with overall fewer nutrients.

Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. I did some more LST to maximize light to the colas. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. I try not to cut off any fan leaves because I think they're here for a reason. I like to tug them behind the steam or the side branches. Only if the leaves show significant signs of illness or pest then I remove them. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. Update 03.07 What is noticeable is that both untrained plants are entering the full flowering mode faster than the trained ones. Have you had similar experiences? Update 05.07 Today I checked the girls and found the Banana purple punch with the top leaves starting to curl down. After asking the community I found out that everything looks like a starting nitrogen toxicity. But only on that plant. Seems kind of strange that the others having no issues at all despite having the same amount of nutes. I decided to treat the symptoms a once so I flushed with 5l PH water. The first runoff was a little lower (5.5 / EC 1.09) but not really concerning. Afterwards I give the plant the half amount of the tripart flowering scheme (with added CalMag 2 ml/l PH 6.2). The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Of course there is an extra update for this :-). Otherwise the week was poured 3 times with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and all women checked. There are good genetics and there are genetic masterpieces. The Great Jefa is part of the second case. Truly exceptional. It is a plant that has vegetated in a graceful and regular manner, the 16 bud topping seems tailor-made for it, all 16 have been successful, I would say excellent. All this happened in a short time, I don't know if it's the topping but it was practically ready in 6-7 weeks I took it to 8 because it was still very colored with leaves but it was ready for all the rest of the signs. Milky trichomes and lots of amber ones this time I don't think anyone can accuse me of being early. Also because the advance sometimes saves lives from mold. In this regard, I would like to give the advice NOT TO DO TOO MUCH FLUSH, if the plant is already very mature, washing the roots would risk spoiling the tops. So my advice is to flush at the very first red hairs, when the flower starts to take the color away with the flush, you clean it up and finish composing the flower. The flowers are really full of resin, a wonderful foliage gave us shades of colors from dark purple to light green and the tips of all the buds and violet. The trichomes and hashish pulled off the gloves are scary. so much. lots and lots of resin. The family is sweet-sour, I know Money Maker very much like us and is embellished with Attitude's Californian genetic Runtz. Greenhouse feeding gave us satisfaction from start to finish with a clever use of Enancher. The plant is still colored because I added some bloom. A few words must be said for Greenhouse Seeds who, with this declaration work in partnership with the strains, is doing a pretty good job of clarity. Many strains are children of an unknown mother and this exposes them to a thousand defects. Strain motherfuckers aren't tough they're problematic. Congratulations to Greenhouse always masterpieces. My favorite from the new line of GHSC masters but the others are arriving... My gorilla melons transitioning into flower this week. Not much change in height yet but I will get a good measurement next week. I haven't had to water this plant much at all this whole summer but now that I have the canopy up top I'm gonna have to start watering more. Last day of this week got a mix of compost tea with some liquid fish. It got around 8 gallons.

This week I transplanted them from the AC Infinity Seed Starter to their 5 gal grow bag or their final pot! I like to make my own super soil out of Root Organics Formula 707, Coco Coir, Perlite, Vermiculite, and amendments. Then I placed a hole in the middle of the 5 gal grow bag, for the plant being transplanted, and placed the young seedling into the hole. Then I lightly covered around the base of the young seedling. Then I watered with 250mL of pH balanced H20! From there that's it just checking on it daily and watering as needed daily with plain pH balanced H20. Then I amended the soil with 4-4-4, 4-6-3, Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. Then I gave nutrients every other day. First General Hydroponics MaxiGrow then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then amended the soil as noted above. Then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then I would feed The Stash Blend and then plain pH balanced H20. Then the General Hydroponics MaxiGrow and then plain pH balanced H20. Then Real Growers Soil Recharge and finally plain pH balanced H20 to finish the week off. I always pH at 6.0 for nutrient solutions and 6.8 for my plain pH balanced H20. My temps for solutions were 72° and ppm was 800-850 with EC 1600-1700. I always use my oxygenated H20 that is monitored by a professional meter and so are it's levels! I have oxygenated H2O with a pump ready to go at all times! This way I can just scoop up the water and go on demand without having to worry! All and all they're growing well and gaining a ton daily!!
