24. Hoffe. Wir dennoch mal auf nr. Drei

👉The plant really faded fast during this week. I harvested the plant from the top down and staggered the process out over the week, fininshing today, 7 days later. The Queen Cola branch was giant. The calyxes had purple tinge too them. The queen took 7 days to loose 75% of its moisture and is now in its jar and stable at 62%Rh. I pruned and weighed each branch after trimming. I then hung each branch on a rack. After two days I put into a paper bag. The aroma at harvest was diesely. Very strong and you can smell it outside. The buds are dense and frosty. The trim wasn't to punishing because the plant didn't have many sugar leaves and those that were were covered in frost. I hung all the main branches in individually, and the secondary branches i put on a hanging net. There was minimal popcorn or larf and was not included in any of the weight. The plant was well beyond average size. For the pictures I used my cell phone. THe backdrop is a darker green. But like most cell hones the colors can be slightly skewed in the process. I did some adjustments on my computer to adjust for the color drift.

Day 63 Flower Well we’re coming to the end of the grow cycle. These plants are looking great. They’re starting to get a bit of purpling on the leaves and trichomes are clouding up. I flushed with 7 gallons of plain water with typhoon cleanse. It’s stripped about 300 ppm per gallon, got my runoff down to 110, and probably do an RO flush if I need to push it longer. I am very happy with the stank, quality, density and trichome coverage on these buds. The smell is a ripe sweet lemon with and earthy hazy musk. Could use more lemon but I’m not going to complain. My house is rank and can be smelled outside even with the carbon filter going 24/7. I’m super excited to see how the effect is on this strain. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’m pumped that it has turned out to be quality!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Hi all 😁 Hope everyone keeping well and having a wonderful week! Thank you all for such amazing support on this bananas journey 💚💚💚 Will be updating this week journal daily so please remember to revisit to see full week content. So far this grow it's going great. Girls are stretching by hour. Great health, nice green colours, more and more squares taken on the netting, flowering nicely progressing, I'm very happy 😁 Planning to apply more selective defoliation, especially to Xena. No changes to nutes except few extra drops of calmag just in case and will try to fill the net entirely. Week 7 Nov 27- Dec 3 Nov 27 Selective defoliation applied on Xena. 8-10 mainly small fan leaves. She is still a bit shy to open as much as her sister. No rush my girl. You still doing great! Nov 28 First watering for this week. 7ltr beetwen them both with 4h spread. Runoffs. Xena 300ml PH 6.1 Athena 250ml PH 6.4 😁. So far the largest amount of my magic mixture consumed by my 🍌💜👊 girls. Well done👏 Nov 29-30 Leaves tucking and joyful observation🤓 Dec 1 Selective defoliation and first stage of lolipopping on both girls. Decided to go a bit heavier as tomorrow heading for trip and wont see my girls until Tuesday! They will be all alone without any supervision so hopefully they will behave and I will be nicely surprised of their development on my return. Watered with 2tr mixture and sprayed with water and fish mix solution right after defoliation. Planning to feed them tomorrow as much possible 6-7ltr before heading off to our voyage to Amsterdam 😎 do anyone know ls if any of coffeeshops have Fastbuds strains available? Would love to try 🍌💜👊🤤😋 Dec 2 Girls watered as above and both PH 6.4 on runoffs. Dec 3 Girls are unsupervised until December 5th. Thank you all for such amazing support on this journey 😊 love you all!!, 💚💚💚 Stay tuned for upcoming week update right after my return. Peace and love brothers and sisters ✌️💚

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

This week went fast. It seemed like she didn't change much but she got some colours and a lot of Frost. Will harvest tomorrow and put in the tent with the other Northern lights to dry for the week.this one was a little slower than the other one and didn't look as fluffy, But it could be the lack of foxtails. This one's still just as big and looks even frostier. Chopped day 78, which is 63? Days of flower. They both smell similar, kinda like sour milk or something.

Quite good result considering that she only got around 6h of sunlight, the buds didn't grew too big but they have a lot of THC, this is perfect for people who live in the city and just want to grow some small plants on the balcony without getting too much attention, the smell was really sweet and she offers a good resistance against bugs, and i didn't even applied any insecticide. We are going to use this plant to do a fresh frozen extraction 😁

Rains came. Plants protected as flowering was about to start. Mesh to prevent moths from laying eggs. They are a big problem were I live and I amb not a big fan of foliar spray during flowering as we live in a very humid area. Some defoliation was done.

This week whent ok a little bit slow but probably due to it being a photo period I've noticed there's a slight mutation on the leaf and it looks a little bit like a star which is quite interesting but other than that I've decided to stop feeding for a while and just use plane 6.5 pH water and may be a bit of silica and some master root because of high PPM in the soil. instead of doing a flush .because it is soil I want the plant to get some air too to the roots. I'm just going to let the plant eat it. it has showed no signs of being burnt. It's going to be in there for a while so we'll continue feed when PPM is lower. Thank you for looking and will be an update every week

D19 (10/12/2020): Beginning of week 3. I saw little yellow/brown spot on big leaves and new leaves, I need to check this closely. I fed with half of the recommended dose but 1.5-1.75L of water per plant. I was giving 1L max and I think it was not enough for the size of my pots. RH of the grow tent is now down at 60%. - temps: 26C - water: PH6.3, PPM: 410 - RH: 60% D20 (11/12/2020): Today I saw thrips larva crawling on a leaf (see video above). That confirm my problem is not a nutrients deficiency. I know how I got them and it's a rookie mistake from me. At the beginning of my grows, I placed a plant in my tent that was originally outdoor during fall. I did not think that it would be infested with bugs. I removed it when I saw a little bugs fly in my tent but the damage was probably already done. I read about thrips and you can get rid of them if you act fast and soon in the infestation. I will go to my local horticulture store today and ask advices and ways to exterminated them. I'm a newbie in growing cannabis (plants in general) and I want the best for my plants. I'm learning from my mistake and that's what I like! Overall, both plants are growing fast and they react really well to LST. I readjust the tie 2-3x a day because the small leaves are growing so fast! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 60% D21 (12/12/2020): I bought insecticidal soap and gave a treatment. RH is now at 55% and that increases air flow. -temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D22 (13/12/2020): The lamp is now 100% and at 28inch form the plants. They received 430 PPFD (33 000 lux). Temperature is under control around 26C with a new oscillating fan place on the floor. This air flow will help against bugs. LST continue every day to expose new leaves. I gave water with only Max Minerals. - temp: 26.5C - water: PH6.4, PPM: 275, approx.: 1,75L per plant - RH: 55% D23 (14/12/2020): LST continue, I try to bend one branch every day and readjust the other ones. I did not see more bugs but some of the new leaves are affected so I know they are still there. I ordered nematodes to help me prevent new larvae. They are suppose to arrive in two days. - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D24 (15/12/2020): I removed leaves at the bottom of the pants last night. Probably 3-4 leaves per plant that were not receiving light. This morning I can see that it gave a good boost on the new leaves! Continuing LST as usual. The nematodes arrived earlier then expected. I will apply them tonight as soon as the lights turn on! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 54% D25 (16/12/2020): I did a lot today! First, I sprayed another treatment of insecticidal soap on all my plants. Second, I removed one inch of soil in each pot and replaced it with new soil (same soil). I saw sign of what I think is phosphate deficiency. I was really shy on nutrients since beginning of the grow. Third, I fed full recommended dose for week 3 of veg. I gave 1.5L of water with nutrients and approx. 0.5L of tap water when I placed the nematodes. Fourth, I placed one tea pouch of nematodes in each pot as recommended. I also opened 2 tea pouch of nematodes and sprinkled them over the soil of all plants. Finally, I continued LST. It was a big week of up and down. Both plants grew like crazy and I discover an infestation. I think Banana Kush is in pre flower but I'm not sure. It's a bit early but they got so much stressed this week. -temp: 26C -water: PH6.5, PPM: 725 -RH: 55%
