So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

We've adjusted the nutrient mix to support their flowering needs. Here’s what’s been on the menu: Regulator: Keeps plants stress-free and promotes healthy growth. CalMag Boost: Ensures they get enough calcium and magnesium for robust bud development. Top Booster: Enhances flower production and increases the number of bud sites. P Boost: Provides the phosphorus needed for energy transfer and flowering. Watering pH: Maintained at 5.8 to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. TDS: Held steady at 420, giving them the perfect balance of nutrients. Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Aquí unos vídeos de la segunda semana de floración. Ya tiene los led definitivos y la malla más abierta, hace rato que pasaron a la 8 ball kush. Los riegos eran de medio litro cada dos o tres días todos ellos con fertilizantes. Se me olvidaba comentar que la red mandarin es de flor roja y de las tres solo una salió con ese tono que me está gustando bastante y otra cosa que no comenté es que la 8 ball tiene dos semanas más de crecimiento que las otras pero se le hizo lst y podas apicales a varios brazos.. las red mandarin solo fue una poda apical a cada una antes de la mallla.

Surprisingly slow growth, but the colour on most of them looks healthy. Plant #4 might be a goner, it had problems getting out of the seed and nearly died the other day. It's likely just going to be a very weak plant. Keeping my fingers crossed though. Update #1: After getting some helpful advice from Mark at Dinafem Seeds, I transplanted the three largest ones into 7 gal smart pots and placed them outside where they will stay. The remaining two will likely head outside either tonight or tomorrow depending on the weather (these are the smallest two, #2 and #4). Update #2: As of June 2 (Day 13), all plants have been transplanted into 7 gal smart pots and will remain outside.

Buds a bulking up, getting sticky, frosty and stanky!! Do-si-dos is a bit behind the other ladies as this strain will take an extra week to finish, but she's also packing on size, frost and stickyness. Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch both grows progress and prepare for the flowering phase!" Day 33 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Exciting news for our second grow: we’ve added a new member to the grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We got her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome!" Day 34 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our second batch of plants, just like the first, has developed well and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!"

week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.
