Posting the phenos when I do them

Last two weeks have gone well for her. She will be unleashed finally in the next couple weeks if weather permits! I can only imagine what she is going to do once her roots can spread. I predict a massive size increase once she is put into the ground. I know she will have to be supported after about a month outside so it will grow without problems. Don't want her to snap her own branches because of awkward wait placement or because her buds become too heavy. Plants definitely produce better when they have supports for the buds/ branches. Allows them to stack on bud instead of putting energy towards holding itself up. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Empezamos (Día 8) nuestra segunda semana de vegetación de nuestras Sweet Seeds Tropicanna Poison XL. Tienen 13 días de vida desde la germinación y se están regando con un pulverizador con agua de osmosis con CALMAG. Las plantas están creciendo sanas y fuertes y están empezando a desarrollar sus primeras hojas de verdad. Estamos emocionados de ver cómo se desarrollan en las próximas semanas. 👽

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Thank you for taking the time to read. 10-16 😍😍😍 Plants are starting to show deficiencies!!! Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

Beginning of week... Beginning of first flush week! So excited!!! I put 4mL of FloraKleen into 3L of pH'd water.. Going in: 160 PPM.. Runoff: 700 PPM.. I may run 1 more flush of FloraKleen through the medium in the AM.. Will be updating on the runoff as I go.. Just makes better sense to check runoff to me.. I know some people dont do it.. And claim its pointless.. But I think runoff tells you ALOT.. I think the runoff reading is just from what was built into the medium still.. I just like to make sure she's getting nice and flushed for a good while.. And if the trichomes arent where I want them to be at the end of the 2 week flush I will flush for another week.. But only if needed.. Anyways.. Hope these 2 weeks fly by cuz the week before this didnt at all! Lol.. Next day.. Today is day 2 of flushing.. Used FloraKleen once again.. This time the runoff came out at 640 PPM.. Gettin there lol.. Tonight I'm going to just run 3L of pH'd water and same tomorrow morning.. Will update in the AM Later that night.. Lol.. This time the runoff came out at 750 PPM.. I'm guessing its just more nutrients that were built up in there.. Jeez.. So tomorrow I am just going to flush pH'd water in the AM and in the PM.. With more updates on how that goes.. I also lowered the light down to 12 inches from the tallest colas.. According to the PPFD chart Mars Hydro has, the tall colas (but outside of the footprint) should be getting close to 800 PAR and the shorter (but in the middle of the footprint) should be getting.. Roughly around the same I suppose.. The inside branches are still about 14 - 16 inches from the light.. Wish I would have been able to keep the canopy more even.. But I went with a LST technique that helped me keep all the branches instead of removing some.. Like instead of bending the plant over (to make a "T") to where some branches should probably just be removed because they are going straight into the medium lol.. But this time I tried to bend her over a little different (to make an "X") so that all the branches wouldn't be going straight into the medium.. Idk.. something I've been trying to figure out on my own lol.. But I think I prefer the "T" because it is easier to keep each branch, and it's twin, fairly even throughout the grow.. But I'm still happy asf how this grow has gone so far.. Should have lollipopped a bit too.. But I still enjoy smoking every last bit of these ladies.. And if they are too popcorn-ish, I'll just throw them in a bubble bag with the trim.. Still gonna be happy with the outcome either way!!! Autos are fun.. But I think I still prefer to control when flowering begins.. I know a 2×2 isn't ideal for this.. But I really wanna try to ScrOG a girl in this tent! Just to give it a shot and see how much of a difference it can make in yeild.. Anyways.. Will update tomorrow with the runoff and whatnot!... NEXT day after THAT (Almost mid week)... This AM the runoff came out 444 PPM.. Since I already mixed some pH'd water, I'm gonna use it later tonight.. With an update.. Lol Later that night... Runoff is still coming out about 400 PPM.. Decided to check the pH and the runoff is coming out at 7.. The fuck!? Maybe I forgot to pH earlier this week.. Idk. Whatever lol.. Mid week.. Runoff came out at 333 PPM this morning.. Just going to go back to one watering a day till harvest now. Hope I can get it down to 200 PPM or lower for the last week at least.. But still not sure if I will be letting it go an extra week or not.. We shall see how it goes till then.. The nug I attempted to pollinate didnt take.. Guessing the pollen was too old.. Trashed it.. It was feminized pollen but wasnt the greatest genetics either.. So no loss there.. But the nug looks kinda pathetic.. The pic shows it next to its sister nug and that one still looks good.. Maybe cuz Ive been fucking with it alot.. But whatev.. Shit happens.. May still keep updating the runoff daily.. May not.. See how I feel tomorrow lol Next day.. Runoff came out at 330 PPM again this morning.. Not bad, I suppose.. Alot lower than what its been before I started using this Brita filter lol.. May use Florakleen once more at the beginning of the next week.. Then just water till harvest. Just to see if I can get it down a little more. If not, I'm sure it'll be fine. The fan blowing on the undedside of the light slipped off the pole and was chopping away at one of the colas.. Luckily none of the buds were damaged.. Trichomes definately got knocked off tho lol.. And mostly leaf damage.. This girl smells so fucking amazing.. The colors are awesome.. I don't think I can find another strain to top this one lol.. We shall see tho... Almost end of week.. Runoff came down to 280 PPM this morning.. Niceeee.. I can live with that.. As long as it's not 400+ PPM I think it should be fine.. The main top cola is showing a nice amount of cloudy.. And the very bottom 2 stems are cloudy also.. But the rest of the plant seems moslty clear but also have some cloudy/milky along with them.. I can find a few amber in spots.. Will be updating with pics tomorrow along with some trichome shots!!!... End of week.. Today's runoff came out at 260 PPM.. Niceeee.. I tried to get alot of trichome shots but I just don't have a steady enough hand.. A couple colas have some amber coming it on the very top calyxes.. Some colas are cloudy.. Almost there!!! Not sure if I am gonna take this just 1 more week or 2 more weeks.. We will see how she looks at the end of the next week... As for now.. On to the next week!!!...

Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻 Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻 In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳

Gave them a good strip out! Was a jungle in there,undercarriage included! Smells still amazing one slightly more sour than the other. Ones bud structure is different to the others also. But looking great. Took quite the stretch ! Starting to slow up a bit now thankfully as running out of room !. Exited to see what the next weeks bring. Hopefully a realy nice harvest to come !

Hitting the Finish line

Week 6 (Day 42) - This week was a lot more manageable with temps as it has cooled off. I also was able to pick up a portable AC unit that has dehumidifier built in. I Macgyver’d a bunch of ductwork so I can run a hose to my tent, Amazing 🤩. I have been able to run consistent at 74 degrees with lights on, and 68-69 degrees with lights off, and humidity between 43-50 % Lots of new growth this week at the bottom canopy, both bud and leaf. Kinda gives me a better idea of timeline with this strain, I think it’s going to go 10-11 weeks from what I see online. Trichomes are still clear, but the hairs are turning nice colours, and I think I se me a touch of pink starting…👀 Buds continued to thicken, again, not huge by any means, but the ones that were small are fattening up, and there are so many of them 🤗 I think I’m going to feed nutrients this week, Monday is the start of week 7, and assess the situation then to determine when to start straight water feeds to begin the flush…

Growing super well. Gave some molasses and kelp. The pot has an ample supply of bone meal and blood meal so I’m not concerned about nutrients... yet. It is a very supple willowy plant and winds here can be vicious going into late summer and worse in the fall so decided to start training. Video shows how even a modest breeze blows those thin leaves around.

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Hello This is the end of week 13 and the beginning of week 14 of veg. I didn't report last week because I was still harvesting the 13 plants of Captain Future. Put the last plant in the curing bags last night. I'll be switching over to flowering either tonight or tomorrow by taking out the lights and opening the tent at 8 am and closing it at 8 pm. Each plant is getting 2 gallons of rainwater for now. Still lots of compost in the pots for food for them. But I'll be mixing up some flowering solution to put in the 15 gallon reservoir and giving each plant a few minutes each day. It will last for 6 days and I'll clean and mix some new nutrient on the seventh day. I'll hand water when the pots seem dry. Each plant has filled their space now and it's time to flower. OK. So got the net in place this week and started doing my ScrOG. Also did a bit of FIMing and some LST to help speed things up a bit. So far the weaving hasn't been as easy as I was told it be some ive been using some soft twist ties to help keep them in place. Going to veg and weave for another week or so before I switch it to flower. I was told you have to continue weaving for 2-3 weeks into flower but im worried that'll stress the plant out so if anyone that reads this knows other wise, comment below. Increased the feed from 1 liter to 2 liters because I wasn't getting any run off. Now I'm getting 10% run off every watering and I've been able to keep my run off ppm to less then 100 ppm above feed. So far I'm really like working with coco and don't see myself going back to soil unless it's outside plants. The environment has been fairly stable the last week with outside temperature droping. Had a spike in humidity yesterday because it got up to 75% humidity outside where I live. Luckly when that happened my tent only went up to roughly 67% but it's slowly dropped down and then stopped at 62%. There calling for another heat wave this week with it reaching up to almost 40c again for a couple days.... can not wait for summer to be over. I'm a ginger so I'm more of a autumn and spring kind of guy and plus this heat is making it difficult not only for this plant but also the ones I started seeding a few weeks back. Got so hot that they stopped growing for 3 days, 2 died and 3 got burned a bit. So far this 300w SE-3000 Spider-Farmer light is really rocking it. Great coverage, adjustable and detachable ballast have made this a easy grow even with the mad heat. Definitely going to look at the SE-5000 light that runs at 450w or the SE-7000 light that runs at 650w for my next light in the 4x4 tent. Next go around I'm going to try this light in a 2x2 tent I have that I use for germinating. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

This is an easy plant to grow. She was quick from seed to harvest. The vibe creeps up on you so watch out! She's dried now and set to cure in brown paper bags for a few weeks. This one is a winner.
