I'm going to give her the chop sometime this week. Giving her one final watering today, then I'm going to let her dry out til harvest. She smells fucking awesome, super aromatic. It's quite obnoxious not being able to find anything on this strain. But I'll try and describe what she's like. For one, I'd say that once you've got an established plant, it's very painless to grow. I didn't measure waterings or nute feedings. Treated her like a tomato plant basically. The smell is incredible, super fruity with just a hint of skunk... and given the character this strain is named after(💩), let's just say that's a very pleasant surprise 😮 We're in the final stretch of her growth here. I'm not expecting too much yield wise by this point. I want an OZ, so I'm hoping this extra week will get her to chunk up just a bit more. Cheers fellow growers, I would recommend other Ethos strains before this one. But if you're accustomed to their Genetics, this is definitely worth copping for the experience. Really excited to see how she smokes! 🤑😎 Update 10/28/21: Something made me decide to give her a flush and maybe a week or two of extra time. I think she'll start doing the purple fade thingy, as I see purple on some of the tips of calyxes and sugar leaves. I hope for one crop like this every year.. Flushed her yesterday and took the updated pictures(the ones in the dark) today. Looks like she REALLY put on some weight between yesterday and today. I mean I had to stake her up, that's how chunky she's getting. The stems and branches look like they're on the brink of snapping 😳 Looking back, I don't think I've had a plant get this chunky by this point in flower. Makes me super excited I have more beans of this stuff. I may end up leaving a lower branch to chuck her into the veg tent post-harvest, I'm seriously that in love with this strain.

🌱 Week 3 | Godfather OG – Pheno A | Building the Foundation Week three marks another exciting step forward for this Godfather OG phenotype. While some of her sisters are stretching with a little more enthusiasm, this lady has chosen a different path. She remains naturally compact, stacking tight internodes while producing broad, healthy foliage and vigorous new growth. One of the goals of Project Blue is to discover each phenotype’s individual personality, and this plant is already showing exactly that. Rather than reaching for height, she is focusing her energy on building a sturdy framework that should provide an excellent foundation for flowering later on. The growing environment remains extremely stable, allowing the plants to develop without unnecessary stress. Daytime temperatures averaged around 27°C, dropping to 25°C during the night, while relative humidity stayed close to 55%. Root zone temperatures remained stable at 21°C, nutrient solution temperature at 20°C, with pH carefully maintained at 6.0 and nutrient strength increased slightly to EC 1.3. CO₂ levels averaged approximately 666 ppm, and lighting continued under the 12/12 From Seed schedule, delivering roughly 600–700 PPFD, adjusted according to each plant’s individual height. Nutrition continues to follow the Plagron Terra program, providing everything needed for healthy vegetative growth. This week’s feeding consisted of: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The gradual increase in EC has been met with an excellent response, with healthy leaf colour, vigorous growth and no signs of nutrient stress. This week also introduced the first stage of canopy management. Rather than using aggressive training techniques, I simply began gently bending and repositioning a few large fan leaves to expose the developing secondary branches underneath. This subtle approach allows more light to reach future bud sites while letting the plant continue growing naturally with virtually no recovery time. This Godfather OG appears naturally suited for a bushier architecture, so encouraging those lower branches now should help create a fuller canopy as flowering progresses. Overall, she continues to look exceptionally healthy, with strong branching, thick stems and lush foliage. She may not be the tallest girl in the room, but she’s quietly building what could become an incredibly productive structure in the weeks ahead. She had 5 inches of vertical growth since last week.this one turned out to be my favorite auto of all time last round. Well week 2 is here and gone. the dark devils are not as big as the red poisons but that doesn't mean much at the moment. we still got lots of weeks to go and the wicking buckets look like they are doing their job. I am going to let the dark devils dry out a bit before I refill the reservoir. to see if the water is too much for that strain as it is the first time growing it. so, looking good so far, they are healthy for now no signs of hunger just water when needed at this point and look for signs of lock out or feeding issues cheers ya'all,

I starting to see a bit of light bleaching this week. This week I did a bit of defoliation but nothing too crazy, next week I will do the last defoliation. She's growing good! Was able to start some LST on this girl. I think I'll be flipping the light schedule in the next day or 2. As I said before, I don't want to veg long as this is my first hydro grow. Can wait to see how she turns out.

First the plant had some weird growth but she recovered!

7/26/2021 - 1st week of flower. - Mites are super active on the layer of trim I left on the soil surface. They're not on the actual plant, so I'm much more confident in thinking they're beneficial soil mites.

Started overdrive this week. Should definitely see an increase in bud size now. Some trichromes are already cloudy. I’m planning to give these another 2 weeks and more if need to get the balance of 50/50 amber/cloudy

Hi folks, I'm coming here to start the process of ending this grow journal. I harvested about three months ago and the weed is definitely cured. Photos are about to come — I'm doing a real studio photo shoot for those buds, they deserve it! While waiting for the shots, I made some pretty damn dank hash temple balls using the iced water extraction method (solvent-free) with my little washing machine. It's a mix of the 8 strains I grew here — never ideal to mix different kinds of resin... but man, this is some serious dedicated work, so I'm making myself happy with that 14g shiny temple ball in the end 😉 Here are a few details about my process for you guys (and don't forget — you can do it with fresh material! Fresh frozen is always tastier. Also, the drying process is much more efficient and faster with a freeze dryer, but... you need the budget for that. I don't, so I go with the air drying method — check it out below): 1. Get your dry trim, then cure it properly for at least a month (I did 3 months). Smell it — mmh, sweet, dried to perfection. ✅ 2. Freeze it, delicately wrapped in a freezer bag. 3. Let a large amount of tap water sit for at least 24h to remove chemicals like chlorine, then use it to make plenty of ice cubes — don't be shy, especially if you're not working in a cool environment. 4. Prep your washing machine: add trim between two layers of ice, fill up with clean water (as much as you can, large vortex is better than a smaller one), then make it seat for 30 min (45 min for thicker buds) the time that the dried green material gets wet again. 5. Prep your filtering tools: catch bag, different mesh bags, spoon, etc. 6. Wash as many times as you can before green contaminants appear, as these lower the quality of your hash — don't hesitate to go up to 8 to 12 washes if the resin still looks clean! Important: each wash has its own specific duration, and they get progressively longer as you advance through the process. Frenchy Cannoli (a true hash legend) provides a detailed timetable for this — from as little as 30 seconds to 1 minute for the first wash, all the way up to around 25 minutes by wash 8. Make sure to follow that schedule rather than using the same duration for every run or running it too long the first wash !! It could breaks to quickly your precious material before you collect all the trich's and the quality would be lower in the end. 7. Collect the wet resin in the mesh bags with a frozen metal spoon, make patties with the resin, and let them sit over some towels in order to drain as much water as possible (place a tissue made for hash collecting over the towel). 8. When the patties are a little dry to the touch, wrap them as they are in the tissue and place them in the freezer for 48h or more. 9. With an iron strainer, microplane your patties over the biggest flat surface you can get! It's important that your micro pieces of hash dry widely and don't get too compacted. Any failure in the air drying process will nucleate rot, ruining your hash in the end and making it a poor product — eventually something to throw away. Sad when you think about all the phases of the process to get to this point! 10. So, in order to air dry properly, you must — it's not optional — lower the RH of your dry room to 35% or slightly below, never above and let it dry as long as needed until the material feels like dry sand. For myself, I found 10 to 15 days is ideal. The room must be very lightly ventilated (not directly on your resin!) and in complete darkness — the goal is to preserve all those delicious terpenes! Ideally, temps around 60°F or 16°C 11. Now that it's dry, collect your resin with a large thin spatula! Make a little mound between two layers of PaperHash, boil some water, and fill up a wine bottle with it! ⚠️ From this point on, to avoid exposing your carefully dried resin to a more humid environment — which could ruin all your hard work — everything must happen in the same drying room. Keep working at 35% RH until your temple ball is tightly and airtight wrapped in PaperHash. (And don't forget to drink water — it's dry in there! 💧) 12. Start to slowly press your resin. Magical moment. Finally.... 13. Press 3 times for 10 to 15 minutes in order to really decarb your hash — because that's what it's all about! Between each press, try as best you can to shape a patty... until the final press, when you'll be able to form that magical shiny temple ball (it only shines with gloves on, guys 😄) 14. You are now allowed to try it — for quality control purposes only, of course! 15. Because you want to age your hash for the sweetest 5-star smoking experience: wrap your temple ball in a large piece of PaperHash — if you can get that brand it's ideal, or another kind (check https://thepressclub.co) as long as it's organic! 16. Place the wrapped temple ball in a glass jar and store it in a dark, cool place. 17. Wait a minimum of 3 months before opening it. 18. Open, smell, touch — you'll be amazed. Roll it up with some weed or tobacco or both (I do both) / Or get a Hooka... you are smoking some true primo aged hash made by yourself! Taste the difference and realize all the path from choosing the seeds online until this first amazing puff ... 🙏 I want to credit my inspiration for making this kind of hash to the great Frenchy Cannoli, who has shared all his knowledge through amazingly rich tutorial content that you can find online with a bit of searching. 😉 Peace Frenchy 🕊️☮️

💜 Purple CousKush Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Week 9 🌿 Elegant, Green & Right On Point Some plants make you work for the compliments. Others simply stand there and make you smile. Purple CousKush Pheno B is definitely becoming one of those plants. Week after week, she has maintained the same quiet elegance that made me like her from the beginning. She isn't trying to dominate the room. She isn't trying to become the tallest. She isn't demanding constant intervention. She's simply growing. And growing beautifully. This week, I'm looking at her and seeing something I really love: consistency. The plant is healthy. The structure is beautiful. The foliage is incredibly lush and deep green. The flowers are developing exactly where I want them to be. And those little developing buds are starting to take on that beautiful golf-ball-like formation, with the flowers becoming increasingly defined along the branches. She is simply... on point. Exactly where she should be. And honestly? She's a delight to grow. 🌸 Week 6 Flower – Right Where She Needs To Be Purple CousKush Pheno B remains around 96 cm, keeping her firmly in the more compact category of the 8×8 Adventure. But by now, I've stopped looking at her height as a limitation. It's simply part of who she is. She's built a compact, balanced architecture and she's using it extremely well. The branches are carrying developing flowers. The bud sites are becoming more pronounced. The structure is filling in. And the entire plant has that beautiful feeling of a flowering plant moving confidently through her cycle. There is no rush. No drama. No obvious need for correction. She's just progressing. And at this point in flowering, that's exactly what I want to see. 💚 That Green... Let's talk about the colour. Because honestly... look at her. That deep, lush green is one of the first things that catches my eye every time I look at this plant. The foliage has that rich, healthy appearance that makes the flowers stand out beautifully against it. And I'm starting to think there's something bigger happening here. Across this 8×8 Adventure, I'm seeing remarkably lush foliage on a lot of these girls. And while genetics obviously play an enormous role — enormous — I'm increasingly convinced that the quality and consistency of the nutrition program are also contributing to what we're seeing. Good genetics give you the potential. Good nutrition helps the plant express that potential. And when the two come together under a stable environment... That's when things get interesting. So this week, I definitely want to give Plagron some extra love. Because I'm genuinely impressed by the overall health and colour we're seeing throughout this run. But let's be very clear: It starts with genetics. Without good genetics, there is only so much a grower can do. You can have the best environment. The best lights. The best nutrition. The best equipment. But you still need a plant with something worth expressing. And these Purple CousKush girls are giving us exactly that. Genetics first. Then cultivation. Then environment. And when those pieces come together... you get plants like this. 🌸 The Buds Are Starting To Look Like Little Golf Balls This is probably my favourite visual change this week. The individual flowering sites are becoming increasingly rounded and substantial. Those little clusters are beginning to look almost like small golf balls forming along the branches. Not finished flowers. Not mature colas yet. But clearly developing structures that are gaining shape and volume. And surrounded by those beautiful white pistils? Absolutely gorgeous. The contrast between the deep green leaves, the developing green flower structures and those bright white hairs is something I could photograph all day. Every week, the flowers become a little more defined. A little more substantial. A little more recognizable. And that's when you start realizing just how quickly flowering is moving. She's building. Quietly... but she's building. ? Those White Hairs The pistils remain beautifully prominent across the flowers. Bright. Fresh. White. And reaching outward from the developing calyxes. They're one of those visual indicators that make the progression of flowering so easy to appreciate when you're documenting the same plant week after week. You look at a photograph from several weeks ago. Then you look at her now. And suddenly you see it. The flowers have changed. The structure has changed. The plant has matured. She's no longer simply starting to flower. She's becoming a flowering plant. And we're getting closer and closer to seeing what this phenotype ultimately wants to become. 🌿 No Need To Touch What Isn't Broken One thing I particularly appreciate about this phenotype is how little she asks from me. The canopy doesn't look like it needs another major intervention. The structure is open enough. The flowers have space. The foliage is healthy. Air can move through the plant. Light can reach the important areas. So I'm not going to manufacture work. There's a temptation in cultivation to always be doing something. Cut this. Move that. Remove another leaf. Adjust something. Change something. But sometimes... the plant is telling you to leave her alone. And I'm listening. She's doing beautifully. So she gets to keep doing beautifully. 💡 Light, Structure & Flower Development The lighting strategy remains consistent, with the Future of Grow Black Series providing the primary overhead light and the Lumiflora system adding light beneath the canopy. The interesting part now isn't whether the plant has light. She does. The interesting part is how she's using the environment we've created. Her compact structure gives her a naturally efficient architecture. The flowering sites are distributed through the plant rather than being buried inside an excessively dense mass. And with the canopy management we've already done earlier in the run, we're now in the phase where I want to let the plant use the space we've created. We're not chasing perfection. We're not trying to expose every flower. We're simply giving her a good environment and allowing her genetics to do the rest. And she's doing exactly that. 💜 Same Genetics. Different Personality. Her sister continues to be one of the great examples of why phenotypes are so fascinating. Same strain. Different expression. Different architecture. Different personality. And that's exactly why I love growing multiple phenotypes side by side. You can read the breeder's description. You can read the genetics. You can read what other growers experienced. But eventually... you have to grow the plant yourself. And then she tells you the truth. Purple CousKush Pheno B has told me that she likes being compact. She likes building a balanced structure. She likes staying relatively low. The lights matter. The nutrition matters. The environment matters. The grower matters. But before any of that... there is a seed. And that seed carries the genetic potential. Without good genetics, none of the other pieces can magically create something that simply isn't there. That's why I'm genuinely happy with what Zamnesia has given me to work with in this run. Then you add a consistent Plagron nutrition program, stable environmental conditions, strong lighting and careful observation... and you give that genetic potential a good place to express itself. Those little golf-ball-like flower formations should continue developing. The flowers should continue gaining volume. The pistils will eventually begin changing as maturity approaches. Resin production should continue increasing. And that compact structure should slowly become increasingly dominated by mature flowers. I don't want to predict the final result yet. We're not there. But I can say one thing with confidence: I really like where she's going. Week 2 of flower, feeding time. Intake was 1040ppm full dose of nutes, run off was 690,740,780ppm. 5 days between feeding so will do a flush next time.

Update June 4th Another 3 liters fed today. As expected, this week is full of LST and scrogging only, but it’s going very well. The prep work I’m doing now is basically what I did in the first week(s) of flower in the last grow, so the foundation for flipping will be much better prepared this time. Maintenance on Taktlo$$ is even getting a tad bit simpler. Flipping is expected on Sunday. I’ll just keep the same week marker for simplicity, even if I could flip earlier. Update June 1st Fed a full 3 liters again. Those plants are chugging like hell. Prolly just more developed overall from double the feeding since the start. Maintenance on Royal Gorilla is still more demanding than Dynamite Diesel, but Takti is fully recovered from the extra topping. Scrogging is all that’s left now. Update May 31st FVW - Final veggie week. I’m not sure yet whether I will wait the entire week before flipping. I have no plans of further topping, so I might flip around Wednesday or something already. Strong feeding and light made this third of three Royal gorillas seeds grow like Ken. Very bushy and super large leaves. Stay tuned!

Noticed some Mg deficiency on plant 1. Just started creeping in. Haven't seen any signs on plant 2 but I fed them both some epsom salts just in case. Other than that, the girls are doing well. Growing very bushy though, will do some experimenting with the light intensity to try to get them to stretch a bit.
