Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

Getting closer but not quite there yet. Still looking for some more amber trichomes. At least the clear ones are becoming fewer while the amount of white ones raises. Buds are very thick now and the smell is amazing! After the daily trichome check the magnifying glasses smell deliciously sweet and creamy like blueberry ice cream. Gonna leave her in her normal light cycle until I‘m happy with the trichomes.

Blütetag 63: Super Strain! Wie vom Breeder beschrieben, werden die Blüten so schwer, dass die Äste knicken, was ich leider beim Bewegen der Pflanze, um eine andere zu Ernten, feststellen musste😅 hat sie aber anscheinend ohne große Probleme weggesteckt. mein Pheno war vom Wuchs eher wie eine Sativa mit langen Blüten. Geruch mega skunky und mega frosty Blüten. Ertrag XXL! Update: wegen den bereits geknickten Ästen habe ich sie old school mäßig uspide down trimmen müssen. War bei den ganzen Verzweigungen auch eine Menge Arbeit. Bisher der längste Trimm in diesem Grow! Die lasse ich erstmal so wie sie ist hängen.

Finally my weather is getting better! 🙌 and good day everyone! Both of my girls are maturing properly and I'm glad it wasn't extremely hot inside the tent, it'll help my babies to not stress too much. I also increased the amount of Silver PK 14/15 by another 0.5ml and the plants took it well! 😍 The plants (mostly Pistachio) is getting more yellow leaves (I'm constantly removing them) and that means my babies are getting close! 😃 So now I'm double checking the trichomes/pistils in my girls and thanks to that I can say the flowers in Pistachio are more developed than the ones in Matcha and I suppose that's because the lights are way too far from Matcha but I can try to fix that in the future. Smoked this before from somebody else's grow who I know didn't posses the greenest of fingers and it was incredible, so will be interesting to see how good (or bad) it will be in my hands. Just water week 1

Day 17 Seedlings 11/02/23 - week 2

This week they have grown super, but unfortunately they are getting lighter. 3 days ago I added another 1 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Grow substrate, as they still remain a bit in the veggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to release the nutrients. Whatever the reason, that still not all trips are elemened 🤬. I've only seen some before, and treated directly with neem oil so that it finally has a rest ☺️. Day 73 Ho tolto entrambe le Watermelon Zkittlez. Non sono contento per come le ho trattate e per non essermi accorto dei problemi mostrati fin da inizio fioritura della Watermelon Zkittlez #2 (quella tutta gialla con foglie secche). Pensavo a una carenza e quindi ho continuato ad aggiungere calmag quando molto probabilmente era un blocco di ph e conseguente mancato assorbimento dei nutriente. Morale della favola?Fiori piccoli con resina che non ha minimo odore. Dagli errori si impara e finalmente mi sono comprato una pennetta Ph (Adwa Ad12) e non le solite cazzate che trovo su amazon e mi durano qualche giorno per poi rimanere senza e inciampare sempre in questi problemi. L'altra pianta stava bene fino a quando sono stato bene io. Alla fine loro vanno seguite e se ti assenti un attimo tante volte rischi di mandare tutto il lavoro all'aria. Fino al 60esimo giorno era perfetta poi per tre giorni sono stato male e non ho dato da bere alla pianta. Quando riapro il box la trovo tutta floscia e le cime molli e senza quell'odore che tanto mi stava colpendo nei giorni precedenti. Ora la lascio chiusa nei barattoli e vediamo se riesce a regalarmi un piccolo sorriso 😊 Grazie del passaggio. Due tre settimane aggiorno diario con qualche bella foto 🖐️

🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 ✅ Things got interesting this week: After raising the input EC to 2.0, the runoff jumped to 2.2–2.6 EC – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium ⚠️ pH remained stable at 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding so far. Starting next watering, I’ll reduce the input to 1.6–1.7 EC to restore balance between uptake and residuals in the substrate 🌱 Despite the spike, Cherry MAC Muffin is handling it well – no signs of stress or lockout. The buds are getting noticeably frostier and denser, resin production is in full swing ❄️🔥 📸 Visual update – Cherry MAC Muffin She’s still stretching slightly, but the buds are stacking beautifully – covered in trichomes, with purple highlights showing in the sugar leaves 🍒💜

I'm very happy with how these came out. They finished right in the breeders estimated flowering time and they smell amazing. The front plant has more of a really strong grape Jolly Rancher smell to it and the back one smells just like Fruity Pebbles cereal. Update 6/20: Just finished trimming the plants and they are now going into a curing bucket. Total dry weight is 211g and the bud smells incredible!

SATURDAY 8/25: I prepped WW#2 for slaughter..one more good flush and a haircut. She'll have one more day in the sun, then it's a dark day and the axe. She's got a few resin leaks that I can't quite get a good picture of..looks like a drop of oil oozing out of a calyx. Makes my mouth water... Seedlings are doing well. I transplanted two of them into tall 5 gal pots and they are doing fine. EM#2 will get another nutrient douche along with EM#3 and both Candy Canes tomorrow. I'm thinking that might also be CC#1's last taste of nutes. An interesting thing about CC#2 is that while her trichromes are pretty much all cloudy and/or amber, the majority of her stigmas aren't withered...I haven't seen that before, but I've never really grown any indica genetics before this grow. CC#1 is delightfully redhaired. I jarred up WW#1 into 3 x quart jars, EM#4 into 4 x quart jars, and EM#1 into 4 pint jars (barely). Bought more quart jars later today and will rejar EM#1 tomorrow SUNDAY: I did the harvest report on WW#1, EM#1, and EM#4 today. EM#4 is now is 3 x quart jars. I harvested WW#2 today...yowsa! (see pics) I mixed up a batch of nutes for EM#3, but after a close look at everybody, I decided to start flushing CC#1, CC#2..they are both suddenly ready. 15-20% amber trichromes. They'll get a few more days in the sun before meeting their maker. I flushed EM#2 again. I'm gonna harvest her tomorrow. She's at about 25% amber trichs today! Really oozing the good stuff.. MONDAY: (queue Metallica's 'Harvester of Sorrow'..) WW#2 got the axe today and thoroughly saturated the air with her odoriferous emanations. A wondrous bouquet! The big tent is getting empty, so I rearranged the remaining girls for optimized PAR and spectra. I really need those seedlings and clones to hurry the phuk up. WW#2 is drying nice and slow in the top basket and EM#2 is now right below her in the second basket. CC#1 will be in the basket below them tomorrow...she's ready. CC#2 will also be drying in the next day or two after that. That will leave EM#3 (Bush Bitch) as the last remaining original member of this crop. Besides her, there's the Pineapple Express gift from my other diary and that's it for my bloomers. As I said before, I sure wish I had taken the fine print more seriously and believed that they'd really finish so quickly. I should have started these seedlings at least 2 weeks earlier... TUESDAY: I harvested both CC's today. They couldn't be more ripe. 68 days from seed...impressive. I just wish they had packed on a little more size in the first few weeks so that these super-sugary buds were bigger. This stuff is far more sticky and stiNky than the WW or the EM, but I'll be lucky to get 2 ounces from each of them. When you factor that in with the fact that I only got 3 of 7 to grow (one in current batch of seedlings), the taste/effect will have to be completely off the charts for me to even consider ever ordering any more of them. WEDNESDAY: I recharged 50gals of soil and have it cooking up now I gave Bush Bitch some water and will give her nutes on Friday. THURSDAY: The video I added today is the total harvested bud for this grow, minus EM#3/Bush Bitch...I'm betting she'll be 4 quart jars by herself. From right to left, it's: 3 x 1-quart jars of EM#4, 2 x 1-quart jars of EM#1, the 2 purple lidded 1-quart jars are CC#1, and the tall 2-quart jar between them is CC#2...the two red lidded 1-quart jars are WW#1, the 2.5 gallon jar is WW#2, and the 1.5 gal jar is EM#2. WW#2 was dry and went into 3 x 1-quart jars. She weighed 90g..not too bad. EM#2 is still in the biggest jar with the lid off and some bovedas. CC#1 was about 70% dry so I put it into a big jar with some bovedas and the lid open, branches intact. CC#2 was mostly dry except for her main cola. She went into a big jar after the photo shoot with the lid off and some bovedas. I feel so stupid..I had my diary listed with "published wattage" rather than actual draw wattage. :( she is still growing pretty slow but i am hoping she catches her self, I've fix all the issues, I brought the humidity up as it was like 40rh lol and dim my light a bit down to 260par waiting for her to catch her self the soil is a bit hot as well as wet as she haven't been drinking much there is guano ect in the soil..
