Day 44, growing well.. One pheno has strange branch development. First time seeing this, she topped herself :) you can see on video.

Harvested D58 2nd run of this girl, higher yield and quality this time around and the 1st time was great, super happy. LOL just realized i put in the dry bud weight, in the wet mud section, somehow i do that almost every time Dried weight 356g retail quality bud and another 1-2z of trim/larf for oil

Nice growth this week, lst from last week resulted in more cola growth. Readjusted lst for even canopy. Both showing sex, treating as pre flower and starting to transition into bloom nutes with a light feed.

Last week of flowering then switching to 12/12 light cycle. Put the other plant into a bigger pot. Roots looking healthy and plants are still loving the nutrients.

What can I say about this plant, it spent most of the day in the shade, if it had the same conditions as dos si dos, it would eat it for breakfast in terms of yield... 450 g of dry matter and some popcorn... I am very satisfied with but the plant didn't get nearly as much sun as it needs...it didn't fill up, but it wasn't empty either, the heads are nice and fleshy...when I picked it, it smelled like lemon or KeyLime as Barney says...but no on citrus, but really lemon combined with some heavy stench, I can't wait for this miracle to work for some time in the jar... Next year we will see it in its full glory, so let's try to get a one kilo and a half dry from it alone, that's a bit of a challenge for me...but with this kind of genetics and this kind of variety, I don't think it will be a problem in 100-150 liters of soil for this kind of monster... this year my plants were in 40 to 50 liters of soil and almost each of them produced from 450 to almost a kilogram of dry grass

Overall this was good strain to grow and I would try it again on maybe an outdoor grow to see how big it gets. The bud structure could have been a little better and it wanted to bush out alot so maybe not the best for scrog. Seems like its a bit of a heavy feeder too and I may have went a little light on nutrients. It wasn't as dense as i thought is was going to be but that was most likely from my environment.

Week °6

Plant starting to flower. Removed a few fan leaves that were blocking the centre if the plant. Started to increase the power of the light slowly while keeping 12" (30cm) away from the top of the plant. Increased the feed by adding: 2ml of Seaweed and 2ml of Miracle-Gro to 2 litres of water with a 6.1ph - 6.5ph range.

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

Thank you all for this amazing support on this bananas journey💚💚💚 Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet. So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! I continued the LST and defoliated a few fan leaves that obstructed light. i bound the other stems of the plant lower to keep it a bit more down since it was growing at a rapid rate.
