It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Nach 68 Tagen Blüte ist der Tag der Ernte gekommen. Glücklicherweise habe ich kein Problem mit Schimmel, Krankheiten oder Ungeziefer gehabt. Beide Pflanzen riechen gut und sind sehr harzig, wobei die Pflanze 2 stellenweise sogar extrem harzig ist. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich für meinen ersten Grow mehr als zufrieden. Wenn das Trocknen genauso gut verläuft ist alles in bester Ordnung.

So another week down and we started the scrog. As we draw closer to sexual maturity we are preparing to flip to flower. More compost tea and knf this week really trying to bring this soil to life. The health of this plant is showing me the efforts are not in vain. How ever I have had to cut some yellowing leafs from the bottom. Maybe a calcium this so I’ve added wsc (water soluble calcium) to the pantry of nutes. With the left over plant matter from making the fpj I added to water with a vinegar mother and she turned it into vinegar for me. I then added blended and roasted eggshells. And that’s given me my wsc. Anyways back to the plant, this genetic seem really strong. I’m loving vegging this girl. It is 8 weeks in now . This colas are packing up some weights , but i'm not so happy about the density of the bud , they seem very airy to me .This might happen because the pheno looks so Sativa dominant . Everything seems fine but i still can't really wrap my head around the nute burn . I tried lowering my nute concentration ( 800 ppm ) but she doesn't seem to be happy anyways . The ppm in the reservoir still kicks up as high as 1800ppm and the ph drops to 5.3 - 5.5 . So this week i flushed her and going to feed her at 500ppm . This is so weird because she is so huge i thought she would appreciate lots of feeding but she hates the nute. She continue drinking 3-4 L of water per day but as i stated the ppm in the reservoir is so high , so i can conclude that she doesn't want to take in the food i'm feeding to her . I don't see crazy amount of trichomes but i wouldn't complain since this is my first grow . The trichs are turning more milky and some of the colas hairs are browning .I expect her to be flowering for at least 2 - 3 weeks before harvesting .

OG KUSH# Day 56# On the OG, thrips appeared in a couple of places, but nothing serious, I regulated it right away, and if it does, it can't do anything to the plant outside, except to slow it down a bit, but come on.
