Day 84..today I cut..

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Some mad crazy growth going on here lol. But iv been informed by a fellow grower that's she's going to be a monster of a plant. So we'll see.

Good morning, today is officially say one of flower, I flipped last Saturday so these girls took their time transitioning. Took a full 8 days as just this morning I noticed just a few pistils, I don’t count the transition as flowering days. As usual I continued my every other watering of fish shit rotated with silica and they are still getting a full gallon each girl per watering. I’m trying something new since the organic nutes take time to work in, rather than top dressing every 4 weeks as Gaia suggests I’m doing half doses hi weekly so last week they got 3 tbsp of all purpose and 2 of power bloom. In two weeks they will probably get the same then the one after that all power bloom . They stretched a lot the first week as you can see in the time lapse so I’ll clean them up again in a week or two after the stretch is over eliminating and branches that don’t keep up to the top canopy and I’ll probably keep the top 5 nodes of each top depending on structure after the stretch. Oct 1 - plant was flushed tonight with 25 gallons of water, more of a precaution, and it was a first, mid-grow flush Oct 4th - top-dressed soil with Kelp Meal, scratched it in; 1/tsp per Gallon of soil - foliar spray (mist) every 3rd day for now. In flower, foliar applications become weekly events, until the 3rd week of flower, then it's stops - next meal planned for is 7.6L / 2 gallons. That is the planned max for the grow Oct 5th - air flow between the Pots was Non-existent… so I gave them a little room to assist with the drying times. 6th - plant was fed 7L 7th - last day of the week.

Wow! Hard to believe these are autoflowers, I’ve never harvested a cola off an autoflower quite this robust. The hps lights in the 2nd grow room were maybe a bit much and all the plants handled it differently. The big beast is one that did very nicely under the hps lights. The smaller much more frostier dried bud is from the mars hydro ts1000 grow tent. Not nearly the yield or density but beautiful crystal covering the buds. Amazing colour from both the led grow dark devils and the hps ones.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

I put plants into 48 hours of dark to replenish thc and reduce chlorophyll an sugars..helps reduce cure time..

Hello world 👋👋👋 According to our deadlines 41vege 14-12/12 4bloom The guy is actively scattering pollen, even too actively there is a fear that he will shoot back too quickly, I am trying to collect pollen. I am doing this for the first time and have tested different methods: 1) I put the bag on the branches, but condensation collects in these bags and kills this pollen, maybe I don’t understand something, I heard about this method quite often, but I still don’t understand how it works 2) I laid the sheets under the plants, the pollen does not seem to fall off as much as I would like and there is also a lot of debris left on the sheets. The method certainly works, but there are some nuances 3) For myself, I chose to collect pollen by hand from the leaves, simply brushing it directly into the storage container with a brush. Since this is my first experience, I don’t know how pollen behaves in a box and specifically in my box, so I try to apply it manually to the largest plant, in the end it will be clear whether this makes sense or whether the pollen itself gets to the flowers perfectly. One of my girls was attacked by a fan, which I turned off and fixed at the very top so that when I opened the box, it wouldn’t blow pollen out for me. As a result, it fell and broke a couple of good branches😭😭😭, now I have a wonderful bouquet of plants in my bedroom In general, I increased it to 1000, but I continue to give different doses so as not to catch salting. I also removed Plagron Green Sensation food since I ran out of it, I want to change the manufacturer. Plagron generally suits me, but why not try something new, maybe you can recommend something? The girls go gently into red blooms - finally. It smells beautiful, but not much. I am bothered by the pH of the soil, I think it will be high, so from next week I will start adding PH Down from Jungle Indabox - the nutrients I use. Maybe the leaves will be fixed. I hope so - the girl is strong. 😍

Low branches grow nicely after cut the apex and a little defoliation

This is about half way through the bloom cycle. The top leaves are burning and it is not from nutrients. The plants are too tall and the light is too close. I am going to practice some HST to make room for the lamp. I snapped the 2 or 3 tallest colas on each plant. They grew back stronger than before and loved it.
