The plants had been a little root-bound before transplanting them into the bigger pots, this showed in a yellowing of the leaves and a slowed growth. During week 5, now in the bigger pots, the plants are recovering quickly. The start to grow in a nice healthy green color and quickly get bigger in size. Since the light-mix has nutrients in it for appr. 2 weeks, I only add a little BIO NOVA Roots and BN-Zym to my 'FLEXITANK' reservoir. After adding the nutrients I measure the ph-value and see its 6,6. That is too high for cannabis-plant on soil, they cannot take up all nutrients at that ph-level. Therefore I use ph-min from BIO NOVA to decrease the value of the 100 liter nutrient solution in my reservoir to ph=6,0. At this ph-level the plants can take up all nutrients they need for a healthy growth. My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are hanging 75 cm above the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees, following the recommendations of the lights manufacturer. The fixtures are dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light ON on the dimmer) at this stage, so they plants get a nice stretch and grow into bigger plants fast.

Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. That being said besides the bloody skunk being done just a few days early everything else seems to be right on time as described in plant profiles on company websites.👍 That's all for now thank you for your patience and attention and support and as usual feel free to leave any suggestions comments or questions and I'll do my best to get back sooner rather than later 😁

8/19 (Day 63) - Pretty normal/typical today. Have just been monitoring since the defoliation a few days ago. Environment has been stable, stay around 78/79 degrees during the day and around 73 at night. Humidity fluctuates between 55-60 RH. PH stays 5.8/5.9. I did accidentally feed a bit much and have been watering with just RO water and they have been drinking fine, a few deficiencies and I also lowered my light power by 10%. I may end up changing the res and water tomorrow just because I did mix my nutrients a little hot by accident and took me a few days to notice. Everything is looking pretty good thus far and we are getting closer to finishing! Pretty pleased with my first grow but excited for the second because I have more knowledge and have a few things that im going to correct and do differently. Will be updating throughout the week. Thanks for looking. 8/20 (Day 64) - Decided to just ride out and keep topping the res with RO water, Calmag, and Rootdrip. I think I added too much Calmag last week trying to correct the calcium deficiency I was seeing. Girls are drinking just fine and not showing any real issues. Everything is stays in check. Tomorrow is water and nute change. 8/21 (Day 65)- Woke up early and got the everything pumped out and fresh water and nutrients back in. Definitely over did it on the calmag last week by mistake but doesn't look like any real harm done. Roots and plants are looking good and getting big! All the plants seem at slightly different stages in flower though, not sure if its something ive done or just differences in plants genetically. All conditions are in check and gonna continue to watch them hopefully keep fattening up! As always, tips and recommendations always appreciated!

Stretch has finished I hope 😂 She seems to have slowed down abit this week and focused on flower production. Never got around to updating this. Grow was a good learning experience that will help coming grows go much more smoothly. Despite taking forever and having a fair few deficiencies throughout, the quality of bud turned out great, better than anything you can get in my location anyway. Mates loved it.

Chopped on day 84, dried for 8 days. Dry weight: 5.46 OZ (152.8 grams) Smells great, now it's time to cure. The trim job was easy as well with the structure of the plant/buds.

Utilice 1gr x litro de agua de trico +(Con un ph 6.8) , las ppm no las controle, lo que si debo reconocer que la planta al estar controlada en altura si noto que la cantidad de flores no será igual que su antecesora del diario anterior. Pero para alguien que no quiere que la planta no se haga alta, es una buena alternativa, ya que con la malla a 70 centímetros del suelo, en altura total no debe pasar los 120 cm( la medi y tiene en su copa más alta, 116 cm)

Temperatures have gone up tremendously since it seems summer weather has finally got here. Over all they seem to be handling it, OK. I'll most likely do a defoliation this week thinning it out to allow more air flow. All in all Happy Growing

09/21/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls got the lollipop 🍭. All the winners stayed 🏆 😂. They got a bump up in the PPM, and we also increased the TPS Signal for the 3gallon dunk to now 3ml. 100% Bloom juice now. Runoffs are in the 6.3-6 4. So they thriving. 09/24/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls are drinking heavy, and already starting to see frost on the PP. We have them a top feed of just pH 7.2 water, to hit the 6.4 runoff.

Day 76 - The ladies are getting weight, everything's good. No signs of whiteflies at all. Some days ago I covered the SP with a shading net because the top buds were beginning to burn and the light is not dimmable. I'm going to buy the SP1000 for the next run to have a better final result. Updating in a few days 🙏

So here we are, at the end, a few months later. I was so happy that I'll finally grow a plant without any training at all, just to see the full and uninterrupted genetic expression. It was a blast to grow her, I can't wait for the plant to dry and give it a few weeks of curing but she smells great already. I also wanted to thank Divine Seeds for the contest strain and Bio Tabs for great Bio fertilizer. You can judge for yourself because I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. Speaking of photography, I went with a moody style this time, because she has a great structure. I've trimmed her a little bit here and there and I've left a few big fan leaves on both sides for better looks. The big fan leaves reflect the light so well, it make the whole plant shine. day 42: LOTTA leaves, had to defoliate 2-3 times. they started to show their first pistils a couple days before the Ayahuascas, hope I can do a harvest before May,(the Peyotes) but it seems really tricky..unfortunately I need to leave them for a week in April.
