I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

I went ahead and germinated 4 seeds originally by first soaking in a glass of tap water for 12 hours then placing in pre-moistened Peat Pellets, of which all four were successful. Two however looked like they they might not make it, so I germinated 3 more by first soaking for 12 hours, then placed on moist paper towels for 48 hours. I checked them on the third day and all had sprouted. I then planted the additional 3 seedlings next to the ones already in pots and will wait 5-7 days to see which look the best, then cull the 3 'losers'. 10/12- Yesterday, I went ahead and ran the AirCube system manually today to give them their first feed. I have the reservoir filled with 60L of well water which was adjusted to 6.2ph @ 75℉. I then added 60ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' and Cocos 'B' and 30ml of Plagron Power Roots to the reservoir and, after mixing thoroughly, readjusted the ph to 6.3 @ 75℉. I then ran the AirCube system on the 'Fill' setting for 10 minutes. While the system was filling the pots, I used a soil hydrometer to monitor the moisture level in the medium to make sure that I had the floats in the 'Brain Bucket' that control how much solution flows through the system adjusted correctly. Everything worked flawlessly with all of the pots getting saturated, then fully drained... excellent! 10/14- I ran the AirCube system again today after checking the ph of the reservoir which had risen to 8.0 due to off gassing of CO2 which occurs because of the large air stone I have in the reservoir to oxygenate the water in it. I adjusted the ph to 6.2 using SaferGrow's PH Down which BTW I love! After adjusting the ph, I ran the system manually for 10min, then drained it. I have the HLG 650R hung @ 28" above canopy and have it set to 45% power on a 19/5 cycle via a TrolMaster HydroX Controller. Tent temp's are running 80-82℉ with the lights on, 74-75℉ during the dark cycle. RH is being maintained by a 1.5g humidifier at 63% currently resulting in a 1.41kPa VPD. 10/17- Well there goes the first week for these three girls and so far, so good! They all have good color and leaf structure and I'm just waiting for them to take off now. I ran one manual feed cycle today for 15min upping the ppm's to 700, then drained the pots. I'll start gradually increasing the feed schedule along with the ppm of the nutrients starting next week... See you there!💚

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Trichomes on Cherry MAC Muffin are mostly milky with the first signs of amber – the harvest window is opening 🌕✨ pH is stable at 6.2–6.3, and runoff EC is slowly decreasing as nutrient reserves are being properly depleted. 🍒 Cherry MAC Muffin – Status ➤ Initial runoff was high at 3.7 EC, likely due to salt release from the substrate ➤ Now stable at ~2.7 EC ➤ Still showing vigorous growth, with vivid colors and heavy resin production 💪❄️ ➤ One more thorough flush planned next watering, then the final dry period begins.
