Hi there, As we approach the fourth week of veg, our expectations for the jungle tour continues to grow. This phase of the grow season is very exciting because at this time it’s decided how well we can lay the foundation for the subsequent successful flowering period. Our goal was to stop apical growth and teach the gals to focus on growing lateral branches. At first glance, I think we will be fine in this regard, but the following weeks will give us the answer. So we used tying wires and tent hooks to keep the branches down and open the canopy for better light penetration for the lower part of the plants. 🌞 A good defoliation has been done as well. Watered only once this week with 3 litres of PH-ed, de-chlorinated water and some Silica.💦 600 PPFD was a bit too much for them as I saw signs of light stress so we dimmed back the lamp to 520-540.🌞 Wish everyone a lovely weekend and see you next week!💨👊

The pistols are pistoling and the bud sites are popping up and flourishing with the help of a bit of lst, All signs are looking good to a successful grow / yield hopefully, Not drinking as much as I thought she would but I’m sure that’ll come, Root ball size is starting to fill out the fabric pot, Week by week now 🤤😴🤤

I’m a week late posting on these as I was a week ahead in the timeframe for this diary because of the new Germination option. We are caught up now day wise anyway, and all is good. Finally got her into the flowering tent and into my 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We flipped her to flowering as soon as we got her in because my DWC systems tend to grow big ass plants. Lol so I’ve decided to flip without much of my screen full and let the stretch fill it. I will also be hitting them at 1000w rite from the start instead of trying to turn it down and get it closer to save power consumption. I will be starting with the light already up as high as it can be at about 3 ft above the screen. I’ve also shortened the span of my rail mover and set my pauses shorter at about 10 sec. with the light at 1000w we get a better spread out on the light meter and don’t need to move the light as far. I’m also going to keep tucking till they completely stop stretching in an effort to keep them as low as possible. We also had some excessive nitrogen build up a couple weeks ago and dropped the ec way down to 0.2 for the next week. They responded quick and went in the opposite direction very fast and before I new it we had nitrogen deficiency. Lol so we got them sitting around 0.75 EC now and they are coming back around. I repottet the plant from 5 to 11 liters at day 8. I tried to provide as little stress as possible, by cutting out the bottom of the 5 liter pot, placing it in the 11 liters and then filliung up with earth. Once it were stable, i removed the rest of the 5 liter pot. Sadly i did not have enough coco, so about 30% of the mix is organic soil. I also changed the light hours to accommodate heat. Experienced underwatering on day 12, so i fed 1 liter of nutrient solution and then fed ph 6 water till it came out the bottom of the pot. Upped watering from day 13 to one 0.33 ml nute feeding in the morning, and a 0.33 ml ph water in the evening

Two days ago I removed alot of fanleaves so light can penetrate all the way down. I was looking for a specific shape with these plants and it seems like it worked. Now it's mostly the buds that have leaves and only a few fanleaves on the bottom of plant that didnt block any light. With my next watering I'm going to reduce the amount of nutrients because there is alot less plant matter to process those nutrients. With my last grow I ran in to some nutrient problems after the heavy defoliation. So less will be more this time😁 Day 17 of flower Follow my IG @Growinhome_

The buds are looking really nice and frosty I hope they really start to fill in and bulk up these last 3 to 4 weeks

I started flushing (RO water) a little earlier than I wanted. My concern is around the limbs/branches holding up during too many more water changes. The plant yoyos work fine, but I have to remove them to change the water, then they fall over (some hard) with the branch close to snapping.

approx day 50: Another week of veg and settling in to the NFT tanks for the girls this week. I am happy with their progress with adjusting to constant feeds and there are no signs of being over fed, burnt, starved etc... GG# has shown the best growth followed still by the Wedding cake then a way behind the Ghost Og. I have given them a slight strip out of any tips I know wont make it to the canopy. They look a lot less clustered now so the light could hit the every strong growth site. lets see how another week does them

They are growing nicely, i forgot to upload for some time and now they are finally fully flowering, i pretty much fertilze them with everything.

Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. Around 25g off no.3 pulled early due to spider mite making a comeback! No.1 started to rot at the top overdid the STS spray. No.2 is an absolute beast, lovely smell coming off it really impressed. Will not be doing el natural ever again definitely get alot more off topped and trained plants. Enormous bud though was what I was aiming for!
