Twenty20 Ateam R&D Update! Wow this week went so great, Germination was 100%successful!! We went with the usual paper towel method an they all popped up in the soil on Saturday the 28th! Let’s grow lil babies let’s grow!!

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! This is just a beautiful strain to grow. The leaves have a rich dark green appearance and the shape is a mix of fatter indica leaves and longer sativa leaves. It's tendency is a fairly manageable and predictable grow/stretch and it responds well to training and powerful lights. The leaves on one of them changed colour at the end of flush and went yellow with some purples and pinks but the buds themselves have almost a silver glow to them. The pistils come out in early flower in a very strong, spikey and symmetrical way that amplifies the cool glow given off by the trichomes. With the rich, dark, beautiful leaves, the whole appearance is really beautiful and otherworldly. One of the Wedding Cake plants self-pollenated and there are some seeds in the CBD Blue Shark, but they're few and far between. It's not a disaster like the Wedding Cake. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this strain. The plants were hardy, easy to work with and forgiving of mistakes and experiments. The flowers looked amazing through every stage of development, and the finished product smells great, tastes great, looks great, and makes you feel great. This is my favourite strain to grow so far.

The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. struggled a lil bit with humidity and temps but things were still okay

Hello Folks 😎 7th week of flowering,I'm really amazed by these girls ! They are very productive, the smell is powerful, and look at the size of these colas ! 💪 They drink 4/5 liters every 5/6 days, for the last watering with fertilizer, I reduced the dose about 650 ppm my plan is to start the flush from day 50 until day 65 and from there, I'll see if I have to push a few more days while checking the color of the trichomes I think I'm going to enjoy this strain, already like the smell a lot 😻 Follow, like and comment if you enjoy it I also have a second diary with 2 Remo Chemo Peace Love & Weed 😍👊

Found a spider in my tent the secend time like wtf how they get in ? 2.2.20 day 3 Ec out 3 . 5.2.20 day 6 I think the small sprinkel are no go so I have back for my old ones . Watering is ok I think so the ec not jumping above 3 .

Twelfth Week / 25.07.24 - 31.07.24 Week 12 progressed smoothly, with the exception of continued nutrient deficiencies in the Cookies Gelatos. 🌿 These signs indicate that the plants are nearing maturity. I’m now regularly checking the trichomes to determine the optimal harvest time. 🔍✨ Despite the deficiencies, all plants appear healthy overall, with bud structures continuing to swell. The Cookies Gelato is developing more pistils than Apollo F1, but Apollo’s buds are denser and have a strong aroma. 🌼🚀 Exciting times as we approach the final stretch!

Week 9 and they are looking at their best. Colours are coming out with hues of purple and red.

Day 101, been cutting off fan leaves on lower nodes, adding ice cubes and spraying cold water on buds. Expecting about 5 more weeks till harvest but I don’t know just guessing Also I don’t know how to change the question so I’m gonna put it here, has anyone tried to defoliate some smaller colas then tie them together will that be beneficial for bigger bud(promote one another) or is it better to leave oxygen to pass through, thanks

My baby and I are reconsidering the path of our relationship. I made some mistakes that slowed her development. To be more precise, I placed the pot directly in the run-off water tray of her sisters. I couldn't get it why she was showing signs of overwatering until I made the connection: - She was sucking on the runoff water. So... that fucked things up a bit. It resulted in slow growth and eventually Nitrogen deficiency. I basically didn't feed her anything this week(not on purpose at least). I transplanted her in an 18l pot today, and I'm considering taking her out in the greenhouse in 4-5 days when I'm going to flip the other ladies to 12/12. I really like her genes so far, so easy to play with! <3 👆 So the thought is that she would get about 10 weeks to mature into a fine lady in the greenhouse until the coco ladies will be finished, then I will move her in and bloom her. What do you think about that idea?

Just been adding water this week. Today I cleaned all my autopots and repotted the five plants. I first add the airdomes , then clay pebbles followed by perlite. I then use a mix of Dutch Vega soil 4 parts to one part perlite. Then mix in Bio grow from greenhouse feed and Silicum Flash from Biotabs. I then watered them with the Bio enhancer from greenhouse feed. Hopefully in a week the roots will be ready to hand over to the autopots watering system.
