viel hat sich nicht mehr getan seit dem letzten eintrag. so richtig bernsteinig wollten die trichome nicht werden obwohl ich den pflanzen zwei wochen mehr zeit als geplant eingeräumt habe. zum trocknen hab ich die nur grob getrimmt. die feinarbeit kommt nach dem trocknen. da im zelt noch die white truffle stehen hängen die freaks erstmal im schrank. die bedingungen zum trocknen sind wetterbedingt gerade sehr schlecht. bei 70% raumluftfeuchtigkeit wird so schnell nix trocknen. vielleicht wird es ja doch noch sommer in den nächsten tagen.

Es war eine sehr gemischte Woche mit viel Regen, etwas Sonne und eine Menge Wind. Die Durban Poison lässt sich davon wenig beeindrucken, sie ist am Stock festgebunden, steht kerzengerade und lässt ihre Buds weiter anschwellen. Leider habe ich bei sehr genauem Hinsehen doch ein welkes verdrehtes Blatt in einer Blüte gefunden und dieses mit der Blüte sofort entfernt. Weiteres Untersuchen brachte aber keine weiteren beginnenden Schimmelstellen zum Vorschein. 100% schommelfrei ist sie also nicht... Das Wetter ist jedoch sehr schimmelförderlich zur Zeit. Ich freue mich schon auf die Ernte, in ca. zwei Wochen dürfte es soweit sein und und dann benötige ich viiiel Platz zum Trocknen. Die DP ist dieses Jahr etwas kleiner als im Jahr davor, was sicherlich an der Düngemenge im Topf in der Vegetationsphase liegt. Entscheidend wird sein, ob das Entlauben etwas am Erntergebnis verbessern wird. Letztes Jahr hatte ich mehr Blätter an der Pflanze gelassen. The Durban Poison is not particularly affected by this; it is tied to the stake, stands straight as a die and continues to swell its buds. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I did find a wilted, twisted leaf in one of the flowers and immediately removed it along with the flower. Further examination revealed no other signs of mould. So it's not 100% mould-free... However, the weather is very conducive to mould at the moment. I'm looking forward to the harvest, which should be ready in about two weeks, and then I'll need a lot of space for drying. The DP is a little smaller this year than last year, which is certainly due to the amount of fertiliser in the pot during the vegetation phase. The decisive factor will be whether defoliation will improve the harvest yield. Last year, I left more leaves on the plant. Thank you very much for visiting and best wishes for a mould-free week! 😀

Hi Growmies, Again another very uneventful week. The plant is doing what she is supposed to do, getting ready to bulk :) For the coming week PK 13/14 will be added so she can use that to fatten and ripen properly. So far I am quite happy with the results, she is much leaner than her mother and basically only consists of stems and buds. Strangely enough some friends of mine who took cuttings are actually tickling out a bunch of purple hues on the leaves and buds, wonder if this could be temperature related. Guess I will see once have a temp controlled fan …

So the final day has come. Day 115. Wow she took 4 months! I struggled a little bit with cutting her, I had to do it with a handsaw. She is a chunky girl! I partially trimmed the plant, mostly removing any fan leaf left and any big leaf without trichomes on them. I consider this more of a pre-cleaning and not a real trimming. That will be done after the plant has dried in about 2 weeks It was quite nice to document my grow. This was my 3rd one ever. I will continue with the grows and journaling because it really makes things sound clearer in my head.

This strain is a dream to grow, if you haven't tried it yet, it's amazing, it's easy, it's lush and vibrant, full of energy from seed to smoke. Great for organic grow styles and a fun plant to grow. The smoke I will update in the smoke review! I do not have words for the quality of this strain. In everything. Grow this and be absolutely amazed by its performance. I had won the seeds with the Halloween give-away but they are a sure winner and a keeper. @SweetSeeds congratulations on a champion auto-strain. I've grown auto's before, only outdoors, but nothing like this, nothing this big in such a short time, and this resilient for not only mistakes but everything. This plant will perform even if you were to mess it all up. Keep to 20 liters grow bags for best performance as you could see with my two plants. One as more developed, although everyone says over 15 ltr makes no difference, with organic coco hybrid super soil, it does. It is the difference in buffering of nutes, PH, heat, and moisture. Way less hassle in the bigger pot and this was an excellent learning curve. This grow started out as a match between Forbidden Runtz by Fastbuds and XL Runts by Sweetseeds. But since the playing field was uneven (pot wise but also heat and fresh air wise), the results do not count in my opinion. But my guess is (since I haven't weighed the Forbiddens) that the XLs for now won. But as I said it would not be fair. We will do the contest again when said playing field is level. Just started soaking/germinating 2 Wedding Cake, 1 Platinum Cookies and 1 Blue Dream. Blue Dream is one of my favorite strains and I suggest everyone always have afew OZs stashed away, I’m currently getting low on that so I need to restock for the year.

Herzlich Willkommen zu meinen neuen Grow mit der Tangerine Dream Auto von Zamnesia Seeds. Als Unterlage verwende ich einen Untersetzer mit Blähton der Körnung 4/8mm, der Topf läßt sich so besser ausrichten aus mit der gröberen Körnung. Das blaue Unterteil des Topfes habe ich mit einem doppellagigen Stück Insektenschutznetz versehen, damit die gute Erde nicht so schnell rausrieselt. Damit sind wir beim 2. Punkt der Neuigkeiten. Diesmal verwende ich die Bio-Hanferde von Sonnenerde. Die Aussicht, meine Pflanzen in Living Soil ohne Düngergefrickel anzubauen, stimmt mich neugierig. Auch die Aussicht, die Erde mehrfach benutzen zu können gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Zum Mulchen habe ich von Sonnenerde die Bio-Faser vorgesehen. Tag 70: Die Tangerine Dream Automatic von Zamnesia Seeds ist sehr groß und sehr stark. Ich hab 'nen größeren Venti aus'm Keller geholt. 🌸 Flowering Week 5 🌸 The transition into mid-flowering is well underway, and the plants are responding beautifully. Bud sites are stacking across the canopy, while resin production continues to increase day by day. Trichomes are now clearly covering the flowers and surrounding sugar leaves, giving the plants a frosty appearance much earlier than expected. White pistils remain dominant, showing that flower development is still actively progressing. The structure remains healthy and vigorous, with excellent color, strong branching, and consistent growth throughout the canopy. Environmental conditions have remained stable, allowing the plants to focus their energy on flower formation and resin production. Aroma intensity is increasing steadily, bringing more complexity and character to the garden each day. The next few weeks will be focused on bud swelling, terpene development, and maximizing flower density as we move closer to the final stages of bloom. Day 74 (28/05/18) - 2 of the Girl scout cookies are looking very close to being finished and seeing all cloudy trichomes with a couple amber. I look for 80/20% ratio of cloudy/milky to amber trichomes for harvest as this gives the best medicinal effects from my experiences. Flushing the GSC and will be waiting for her to use up the remainder of her nutrients in the leaves before I chop, hopefully get a nice fade. One of the Stardawg girls isn't so far behind but being more sativa dominant, I expected that. May upload one picture of her and how she is getting on. The smell coming from the GSC is so potent and sweet. Hoping the smoke quality lives up to the smell. Not long to go now.
