Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Would definitely recommend for an easy grow. Takes forever due to 100% sativa genetics but well worth the grow. Smells just like cannalopes with a hint of cocoa and a strong dank/sour odor. High is fantastic starting and feeling heaviest right behind the eyes/sinuses. Spreads to extremities in a slight relax feeling. The taste and smell of the smoke is extremely smooth and tastes like the sour + cantaloupes. The buds have a lot of shades of green but are predominantly dark covered in crystals. Smell isn’t extremely strong in bag but once buds begin breaking apart it is almost unbearable and resin makes it hard to break apart by hand do grinder is needed.

Hi, the plants are in short supply and I can't manage them even though I have adjusted the pH and EC and have done a week of water alone, things don't change so they seem to be at a standstill. If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this, please share your opinion below in the comments.

I finally cut my plant and she is drying in dark .I think it will take at least a week but its okey . It's been a great grow, I'm very curious about the numbers.

So after my 29th April update last week, I have only given ph’d water, I do have some nutrient burn but hoping that I can sort this out over the next few days, it’s my 1st issue I’ve had but my own doing due to giving too many nutrients as not reading properly. In a way am pleased because I won’t be making that mistake again. I did take a couple of huge fan leaves off that I considered “light blocking” on day 18 and she seems to have recovered well. Other than that it has been a good week.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Good evening to all growers :D! This week was a bit disappointing when I discovered 1 male plant, immediately moved to a separate box (I'm not a killer)... The two bad girls are showing their sex with pistils that are now visible, the largest is very evident while the other with the paint bucket pot has yet to develop... Odor for now nothing but I still have good intentions from :D!!
