Day 130 – Harvest Day | Sweet Seeds – Gorilla Girl Today marks the official harvest of our Gorilla Girl by Sweet Seeds – exactly 130 days from seed. The plant finished strong, with dense, resin-covered buds and a very intense aroma that exploded in the final days. Based on her structure and the weight of the colas, we’re expecting a solid yield. Final Techniques: Last 2 weeks: Only clean, purified water (flush stage) Last 3 days: Complete darkness Twice during the dark period: Placed 2 kg of ice directly on the soil The effect was noticeable — right after the ice melted, the smell intensified dramatically, and the trichomes looked even more frosty and swollen. Throughout the entire grow, she was fed with the Xpert Nutrients line, and the results speak for themselves — healthy growth, strong structure, and top-quality flowers. Day 78 of flowering Stopped adding nutritions to the water after day 71. The plants started to get a bit shady after that, by shady I mean that they been hanging and slowly turning yellow, and getting some spots on the leaves. I almost had an heart attack when i saw that one plant had during 30ish hours turned brown and dried all out - See the pictures. I couldn't see any mold or any thing, so i chopped the top of the plant off. None of the others had anything like this.. The buds are getting so fat that the plants are starting to have a hard time holding the weight pf the buds. Im planing on harvesting during the next week.

Here we go for another run. I was recently made aware that a seedy I had germinated was not what i thought I was, so here I am making it right with a tastebudz seed directly from their website. 😁 The strain I have chosen for this run is moon berry. Germinated in a coco coin that has been soak in water with a little bit of mycroboost from living soils. At 25 degrees and between 70-80% humidity. This run will be an organic living soils run. Coco coin has been planted straight into her final pot, which is a 5gal fabric pot. Soil is previously amended but was only used for a week. Using Biobizz light mix and worm humus along side living soils amendments and beneficials. Mulch is made up of cover crop which was chopped dropped and reseeded. Soil also has worms in. Light is marshydro led 150 watt first week running only 1 at 25% 45cm away from soil. Light have been running 20 hours a day this week now dropping to 18 while the power is upped to 50%. Only one 4” fan running atm with no extractor this week and only this seedling is in the whole 80x80cm tent. I am buzzing to get this going. Let’s get this work! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

As with the other plants, it was high time to harvest the main cola. The rainy season in Germany begins next week, the temperatures no longer rise above 20 degrees and there is a lot of rain. So it's high time to harvest! Exactly 67 days after sowing we harvest all the upper buds, only the lower popcorn buds stay on for a few more days. It is a little more airy than the Ztrawberriez from the first grow but still beautiful Thanks to fastbuds!

day 1 - transplanted her into the end pot now. day 4 - i wanted to spray the soil before watering and i fucked up one leaf in the trigger system of the spray bottle :(((((((( day 5 - started LST training because in dont want to topp her and still stun her in height in the favor of the blue cheese and the trained critical day 6 - i removed the leaf wich i fucked up so the light can give more energy to the very nice promoteable branches that are supported by the LST also

Added 10L to the reservoir, and turned it on for a couple of minutes. 11-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 52% (lowest) 12-4 Temperature: 25.5 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 57% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. 13-4 Temperature: 26.5 degrees (lights on) 23 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 56% (lowest) 14-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve FIMed the main and continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 2ml/gal. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Mars Hydro tsl2000 is providing ~500-550 ppfd across the canopy. At this point the plants in the RDWC loop have different nutrient needs so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.

Week 16 – Veg Phase This week marks week sixteen of vegetative growth, and things are staying right on track. The plant has been growing steadily with thick, vibrant foliage and a solid structure. She’s filling out nicely, with short internodes and a rich green color that shows she’s perfectly dialed in. I’m still unsure whether I’ll top her or just let her grow naturally. It’ll depend on how she stretches in the next few days, but either way, she’s responding beautifully to her environment. The pH remains stable between 5.9 and 6.0, and the environmental conditions haven’t changed — temperature and humidity are holding steady. No signs of stress or deficiency, and the overall growth rate is consistent. She’s starting to take up a bit more space, which means she’s getting close to the tent’s limits. If I decide to top her, that’ll help manage her height and open up the canopy for better light penetration. For now, I’m keeping the same routine — steady feeding, balanced environment, and daily observation. The plant looks strong, healthy, and well-balanced as she heads toward the next phase. That wraps up this week’s update. Next step: final decision on topping and preparing for preflower.

Comenzando semana 7 de estás nenas, aun las mantengo en 1L y hoy le hicimos su primera defoliación masiva, ahora a esperar que se recuperen para hacerle trasplante a maceta de 3,5L. La verdad no eh tenido muchos problema, todo sigue igual siguiendo el mismo orden de nutrientes, bacterias y hongos benéficos una vez por semana, enzimas ahora se las estoy dando día por medio o cada 3 día. Ya logramos sacar los primeros clones de la watermelon, punch y cookie y la thc bomb. la dss aun la tenemos tirando fuerza que no va mal pero no tenia espacio para más clones. Saludos

Hello Growmies, Two weeks into vegetation, our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is striking a fine figure in the grow tent. Each plant has achieved a notable height of 14 cm, an impressive feat for their age, suggesting that they are well on their way to becoming vigorous and bushy specimens. The uniformity observed in the first week continues to be a defining trait of the Watermelon Candy strain. Harvest time has come. It is difficult to kill a plant I have been raising so lovingly and with a lot of care as a wonderful living being that she is (and we all are as One). I even stayed up all night once to do a slow full 3x flush of the soil with emergency pH correction and buffering when I finally received the meters and looked at runoff values. It was almost like manually pumping a blood transfusion for a patient overnight. The idea to grow indoors came as a lightning and almost by a random chance. It was, of course, a synchronicity of a high order, because that flash coincided precisely with a rare moment where I had a small window of time to collect seeds of my choice in person and transport them safely and very quickly. And get extremely helpful advice from a moderately experienced grower, who helped me avoid self-taught rookie mistakes and pick an almost perfect setup for my purposes. Many steps I have learned only when it was time to take them, and since there's only so much I can do in a day, I got to some procedures like instrumentally checking salt buildup and substrate pH pretty late. I did monitor her leaves from the get-go, so leaving aside a light nute / photon burn of the tips, I think it went pretty well. Definitely better than I would have imagined! I wanted to do a small sitting meditation beside the plant before cutting her to dry. Wanted to thank the plant for this majestic experience and the healing power of gardening and caring for a plant on top of the medicinal values of cured buds and edibles we made along the way from trimmed fans. Those were unexpectedly strong and pleasantly smoooth. Wanted to tell her that I will miss her and remember her fondly, especially since she is my first full successful grow. The first time is always an unforgettable experience. Wanted to tell her that I do not want to kill her, and it was painful for me to FIM and shape her. A sitting meditation turned into a dynamic meditation when I started removing light gear and feeding system and cleaning the grow space in preparation for drying. Pretty quickly I noticed that I have a very real feeling of experiencing light- to medium-dose mushroom trip. I had vaped some 50/50 hybrid street bud half an hour earlier, but it was a very modest dose — shout out to TinyMight, you guys are amazing! — but no psychedelics. At that moment I felt that I don't need to say anything to the plant, because we are one and she had known my every feeling and intention from the start. And then I realized that what I had considered to be a sombre event, is just a transformation for the plant, it's next manifestation. Having lived as a plant, she will now transform into happy and healing experiences of those who will enjoy her flowers. This plant has supported me and helped me heal deep trauma and depression at least twice in my life over a period of a few months on each occasion. In between those healing periods it was just a get high and enjoy shit because why not kind of thing, and it didn't have any long lasting psychological effect at all, in stark contrast to classical psychedelics (LSD, shrooms, DMT etc). During those non-healing periods I didn't even have an urge to smoke all that often. I could easily not touch the stuff for a couple of months straight. My yearly consumption was in low single digit grams. Sometimes I felt that I did not enjoy the effect at all, it was slightly unpleasant even. Why would I want to blur my crisp perception to a gooey marshmallow state of cannabinoid high and scattered attention? But when it is time to do some inner work — and you cannot miss this feeling if you strive to tune into your inner state — god, is it a POWERFUL plant! I am very happy and humbled to be a conduit for this energy by caring for the plants and raising them. I respect this plant very deeply. --- Split her into thee parts by leaving only a few nodes creating the outer layer of colas on each level and effectively "topping" her a couple of levels above (or below, technically, now that she's upside down) and this creating a new drying layer/level. Tried wet trimming and I think I liked it. Will try to complete it in the next 1-2 days if I decide to go ahead with the idea. --- After drying for 7 days, I stabilized humidity at 60-62% for 4 hours and then chopped off buds (trimmed in batches during the first 3 days of drying), weighed and packed into glass jars for curing. Literally packed, because she yielded over 4 litres of dried trimmed bud (I think it was 4.5l) weighing 267g. WOW. I did not expect that on my first run I will be able to grow so much potent medicine. A lot of it is fluffy, but can be easily pressed denser, if storage or appearance are a concern. In fact, I had to press the buds slightly to make it all fit in two 2-litre jars. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way and thank you for your warm wishes!
