February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. First off, I never saw any indications of this on the Cream & Cheese specifically, she looks awesome. Anyway, after closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy with my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! 💪 This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. Hi everybody, The last plant has recovered quite well, since I have my ph under control again, gotta admit that the Milwaukee ph-pen feels a lot faster and stable in terms of readings and also the calibration. I am growing on Speedgrow rockwhool this time, and not growdan. Speedgrow claims that you don’t need to soak and buffer their cubes. I will test this once the plant moves out of the microgreen section into the tent, where I can monitor the water reservoir.

Purple Chill aka Penny was easy to grow. She was medium height 26 inches. Stem structure was weak. Many stems bent (repaired with splints and masking tape) and some broke off. She suffered from heat stress and also showed cal-mag deficiency.

By coincidence the video is perfectly timed. I didn’t plan for that, but I’m proud of the timing now😂 For my climate density and size were fine. Planted her a bit late. Withstood all weather conditions without shelter or special care, some mild pest infections. As it was a cutting I can't tell about original structure, but even the cutting looked like "from seed" with a nice christmas tree optic (with a little lst). Big buds stay as they are, smaller are going to be pressed or bubbled. ~7-10d drying ~1 month curing - update. Update for end of contest, some dry picture + 7 of x days curing. Already very sweet and fruity. (Nicer) Smellier than my other outdoors. 30g very fine buds and don't know how much trim + popcorn. Anyway .. harsh conditions + survivor + no mold. Most important properties for my outdoor location. 👌💪 Let it grow!😁
