Guys another easy week in the books 4 this beautiful lady!! She is looking and smelling amazing!! Major difference in this Northern lights grow compared to my first grow. If u have been following me u know Northern lights is my favorite strain which makes this so much more exciting 4 me!!! So I did do some slight lst training with 1 Lst clip which can be purchased at www.madmanplant.com. I just used 1 clip to open light to lower sites. He has lots of different colors to choose from including colors for the lady growers!! So much faster and cleaner than tying things. Literally seconds to install!! So this week has been all feeds next go will be plain ph water. So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉

10/5/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Girls got a top feed of 7.3 pH, and runoffs are strong 6.4. PPMs are a little lower last dunk on the GC, so we are going to bump up her feed a little, and reduce the feed on the Purple Punch.

I did the topping after the fourth node, they are healthy, I watered 500ml each with em1, trichoderma and biogrow. 400ppfd

I feed her with full strength of nutes in every 4 days. The leaves are much healthier, so this is the way to go. The smell is lacking which is weird, but hopefully the end product will be fine.

day 14 added 1/2tbsp magnesium sulfate in 5gal water along with regular flower water amendments. 1gal of water per day average, bridal and thunder can take more water. (Days 15-21) (Day 21) Everything is looking really good this week. I got my MH hooked up and dimmed to 250w. Plants are responding very well. Not a single sign of yellowing and plants are all a nice healthy green. I covered up the transparent solo cups with some newspaper as the roots are starting to pool around the bottom of the cups. I’m going to transplant everything into 2gal pots with my inoculated 50/50 coco blend sometime next week. There is a nice layer of mycorrhizal fungi starting to coat the surface now. Blackberry breath #1 is still looking oddly deformed still but I am concluding it’s genetic. Going to be trying this ‘Boogie Brew’ tea stuff in the next few days as well. I’m pretty sure the leaf discoloring I saw that one day was from using unstable RO water. I am making sure to stabilize all water with rain/snow/brita before watering. It seems to have cleared up in a just a few days of proper water. I didn’t get around to getting a c02 canister this week but I will grab it at the same time I get those 2gal nursery pots. I’m shocked at how well the air pump is helping the bbb#2. It is always the perkiest plant in the tent and despite being a runt, it’s already outpacing most of the others in terms of new growth. I guess air is an often overlooked factor when growing. Hopefully the coco blend will help get things a little more aerated when I transplant. Been thinking I’m going to just veg until they all show sex and then flip them. (Day 17) I gave my first pest/mold prevention spray today. I then raised the light all the way up to the top of the tent for a few hours. Plants responded well and no spots, burn ect. I’m also going to give my first top dressing today. I’m using my new organic dry amendments scratched into the surface of the solo cups with some added promix as a layer of mulch. I don’t want to see any yellowing at all in veg this run. I fucked up hard last time so I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Hasta el momento estoy utilizando agua de la cañería que dejo reposar oxigenándola constantemente, por lo que no he controlado Ph ni EC. Riegos intercalados con agua sola y con fertilizantes, mantengo dosificación.
