Lots of training and defoliating today. Trying to let each plant do it's own thing. White Widow is very squat even though she's not topped. OK after no updates for three weeks I've finally caught up and we are all. back on track. Next update 26th May.

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Good amounts of bud swelling going on. I'm going to switch them all from Big bud to Overdrive soon. Quality on these buds are very good. Very good genetics. Looking to harvest sooner rather then later because humidity is 50-70%... I normally have good judgment and harvest right when they are ready and avoid mold/rot. I just have to be careful. After this grow I'm shutting down this grow room for a short time for upgrades to fix my humidity/temperature issues once and for all. I did not expect winter to bring condensation in here room like this. P1 Her buds are still pretty young. I adjusted my lights around so now she has more light. She should swell up nicely in the next week or 2. I did drop a LED light while moving lights and snapped 2 branches a few days ago. Shes fine tho. P2 This girl is a fast finisher. She buds are ripening up very fast. I'm thinking she will come down on day 65-70. She smells so freaking incredible tho...mmm cant wait. I switched her from Big bud to Overdrive on day 56. She will be ready to go very soon. P3 Beautiful buds but fluffy, very sticky and smelly tho. P4 Alot of tight buds maybe they will swell up fat. P5 She now has a true 360w flood light all too her self. Lots of big buds and shes a big drinker.

I brougt them outside when the weather Was good enough. Sie stams got mutch more resistent. Will transplant them to soll in a few days. Night temp. is not lower than 7 degree Celsius. Got a little smell when you put your nose very close to the top leaves, but nothing to intensive.

Day 29-06/05/22 we have flowers!!!! Here we go hopefully gets a lot bigger than it is now 😂 Day 32-09/05/22 everything looking good gonna start giving the bloom nutrients next watering Day 35-12/05/22 everything looking good ! I do think she should be bigger tho idk

Gestern Abend habe ich ein DIY CO2 System installiert, konnte aber kaum CO2 messen. Ich bin mir sicher das Gas austritt und auch im Umlauf in der Box ist, doch die gewünschte Dosierung von über 1200ppm scheint für mich unerreichbar :D Tag 17: Ich vermute, auch wegen den Messwerten, das das nichts mit dem Hinzufügen von CO2 zu tun haben kann, aber Heute konnte ich erheblichen Zuwachs im vergleich zu Gestern feststellen. Aktuell wachsen die Pflanzen Horizontal. Bisher habe ich jeden 3. Tag begossen, heute wäre eigentlich wieder Zeit zum Gießen aber da die Erde, nach Messen, reichlich Feuchtigkeit enthält, werde ich dies Heute auslassen und auf Morgen verschieben. Ich denke das die Zeit des Trainierens sich gezeigt hat und mache mich derzeit via Videos Schlau. Was denkt Ihr, wann und welche Methode(n) sollte ich anwenden? An Tag 20 wurde der G13 und White Widow LST angewendet. Blätter und Triebe die kein Licht abbekamen wurden abgeschnitten. Die Amnesia Haze Auto wurde getoppt und auch hier wurden Blätter entfernt. well this lady has been a gem too work with , she really stretched out at flower growing from a rose into too a sun flower lol but not quiet as tall as her sister the cali snow , she has been no trouble at all so far no deficiency's at all , also her bud structure is forming nicely and again not too far behind the cali snow , but both plants have almost identical structures too each other until you rub your fingers on those sugar leaves and they tell you they are doing there own thing by the lush sent they leave you sniffing your fingers in delight , the cali snow has much more of a friuty smell than the GSC but they both smell delicious thats for sure

Just had to cut some fan leafs off and try to get her in some kind of shape before she start to get some hight. Cut some bigger yellow leafs off too.

Update : week 4 for the Amnesia haze has been interesting. Sadly her 5th node snapped clean off during her lst so she is now an official quadline. She has settled into the pot so well now and has done a nice bit of growing the past few days. I am happy with her look and health. She should be a good finish too. The Sweet Afgani Delicious is happier now she is in the NFT tank along with the Red hot cookie. They look so lost compared to the Amnesia in her big pot and a few weeks older. They have perked up and started to show more chlorophyll over the past few days too. I think a week will give me a chance at some lst with the smaller girls. Be safe Growmies

Light schedule 20 hours on 4 hours off and the same with ventilation. Humidity approx 50 percent, water intake raised up 125 ml per plant per day. Fertilization continues on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Biobizz family and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. This week will change that shit lamp and replace with Marshydro 600W. Day 46, 2 days no update all good they are flowering nicely waiting for the new lamp. Critical Orange Punch nicely developing and the rest of them is coming as well. Today I set the new 600W Marshydro. I also set the light schedule for 18/6.

What you guys think of my 1st attempt off growing I've learnt a hell off a lot from this grow it wasn't as easy as it looks I give my plants a lot off attention some times I think a little bit to much but this was all a learning curve very excited to havest her and continue with my other projects... The next one will be a lot more detailed and hoping for a lot better results.. Put what I've learnt to the test... Thanks guys for all your help

Well... I just learned to be more gentle with my ladies I ve broken one of the leaves when I was turning the pot ... poor GG watered with Green Planet nutrients I just hope she won't get mad on me. Nothing really more exciting after those 15 days. Ohh I would forget, I bough a more expensive PH meter because I thought the cheap one that i get from Amazon is not correct. well... ...both of em are showing the same thing. From 14th day I decided to add some silicone and calmag agent into the diet of RQS ldies because they definitely are growing slower and the EC of the solutions made with RQS GROW tablets were a bit too low. I also decided to spray my ladies once a week with foliar from vitalink
