Dear reader, I think I will be harvesting this lady by the end of this week. It is hard to determine as it seems like she is still developing and growing new pistils. Unfortunately she has had one cola with a little bit of bud rot. I instantly cut it after seeing and learning about it. The rest seems to be fine but I will use a dehumidifier in the future for other plants. Also when drying her. The RH was too high all the time (67%)

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. Week 13 from seed — or as we like to call it here, around Week 9 flower on this 12/12 from seed run — and the Frozen North is fully living up to its name. Outside may be rain, but inside the tent it feels like a snowstorm made of resin. Animal Mints is absolutely covered, from the tops to the sugar leaves, and every day the flowers seem to gain a new layer of frost. This week is a very calm but very important phase. We are not “pushing” plants anymore. No heavy feeding, no forcing, no chasing numbers. Just water with Pure Zym, observation, patience, and allowing the plants to naturally finish their cycle. Last week we transitioned into this enzyme-and-water-only approach, and honestly, the reaction has been beautiful. The plants are still drinking, still swelling, still stacking weight, while the fade slowly begins to paint the leaves with those late-flower colors we love to see. And this is exactly why these plants look different from many traditional grows. From the beginning, this run followed a simple philosophy: let the plants work efficiently instead of endlessly forcing growth. 12/12 from seed creates a very unique structure and rhythm. The plants stay more focused, more direct, and instead of wasting time building oversized vegetative structures, they channel energy into dense flower production early. The result is a room full of productive spears, compact stacking, incredible resin coverage, and surprisingly efficient use of space and light. Morphologically, they really tell the story of the run. Tall but controlled structure, clean vertical development, excellent penetration, and flowers forming all across the plant instead of only at the top canopy. The under-canopy lighting deserves special mention this week because the lower and middle sections are performing way above expectations. Despite a few small LED burns on buds that grew a little too ambitious and got too close to the light, the overall effect has been amazing. Lower flowers are dense, frosty, and actually worth keeping instead of becoming forgotten popcorn. That alone says a lot. This stage now becomes almost meditative. Every day is inspection day. Checking flowers carefully for bud rot, airflow issues, hidden moisture pockets, stress signs, or anything unusual. Thankfully, everything is looking healthy and stable. Buds are getting harder, heavier, and more resinous by the day. Some pistils are already turning orange and brown, calyxes are swelling beautifully, and trichomes are slowly starting their transition. Right now we still see a lot of clear heads, with only a few amber trichomes appearing here and there. The goal remains the same: waiting for that beautiful mostly-cloudy window before making the final harvest decision. And honestly, this is where patience matters most. At this point, harvest timing is no longer measured in weeks on paper, but in daily plant evolution. Maybe next week becomes harvest week. Maybe the one after. The plants will decide. For now, they are still packing weight, still evolving, still teaching. Environmentally, temperatures may not follow the “perfect textbook grow chart,” but the plants clearly did not read the textbook either. They are happy, praying, resin-heavy, and productive. Sometimes the best approach is simply reading the room instead of forcing strict VPD perfection. Stable plants matter more than perfect charts. The macros this week also tell an incredible story. Frost coverage is reaching extreme levels, trichome stalks standing tall, resin heads clustering together like tiny crystal forests. Some of the close-up shots almost stop looking like flowers and start looking like another world entirely. This is one of those weeks where photography becomes part of the grow itself. Bringing plants into the studio, documenting the late-flower transformation, capturing the fade, the resin, the imperfections, the beauty — all of that becomes part of preserving the journey. Полёт в штатном режиме, к концу второй недели сделал пересадку растений в горшки по 12,5л.(можно было на пару дней позже, но и так пойдет). В процессе использовал средство Jellyfish Plant Success, которое попало ко мне практически случайно, и вот тут не обошлось без сюрпризов можно сказать в прямом эфире - после полива смесью нелицеприятного вида(внутри кокоса и на корни я тоже обильно посыпал) буквально прямо на глазах на поверхности кокоса начали формироваться желеобразные сгустки по типу гидрогеля, размером с горох(см. видео). Поначалу я даже не знал, как реагировать, настолько это было неожиданно.😵 Здравый смысл да и само название(!) продукта подсказывали, что так и должно быть 😐, вот серьёзно, как-будто большую медузу бросили в миксер, а затем высыпали мне на субстрат. Подозреваю, что внутри субстрата творилось то же самое. Прошли сутки, комочков желе стало меньше, но растворились не все. Теперь я уже вижу, что с растихами всё в порядке, значит всё так и было задумано 😇 Если и дальше всё пойдет по плану - в конце недели будем резать, заходите посмотреть. Week 5 At the beginning of the week I set up and tested auto-pot system for 2 plants using the same reservoir of feed water. All connections work fine with no leaks, the floats are free moving and work as intended, I have air pumping into the reservoir and all connections are good there as well. I used black tubing for the feed lines and placed towels over he reservoirs to block out light from the water in the system. After all checks were made, I placed the plants in the pots and turned the system on. At the end of the week I had 3 new nodes of growth since the last topping, so I topped for the third time (4 cuts this week on the 4 set from last week and also removed the lowest). I now have 8 colas set. Feed this week was 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of training the colas to go where I want them to. I plan to train 6 to the outer ring and 2 to the inner ring. Once I have enough new growth I will set the tomato rings and possibly start wire training. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Amazing growth. Pleased with these new LEDs. Lollipopped & defoliated, tried to leave some on the bottom, will probably pick a few more off this week Reducing lights to 11/13 and then to 10/14 at week 6. Trying something.(Emulating an autumn/fall environment with temprature drops also) Hopefully I can get the nice purple colours to come out. Will also be adding Deep Red now. UVA has been on all flower.

Día 5/10/20 día 29 de floración Acaba de amanecer un nuevo día y todo continúa bien. Seguimos alimentando las nenas con 1,6 de ec y 6,1 de ph. De momento el engorde no es abrumador pero si constante y si nada cambia obtendremos unas buenas flores!! Día 7/10/20 día 31 de floración Hoy nos vemos forzados a retirar algunas hojas que tapaban demasiada luz y que podríamos considerar sumideros de nutrientes. Por otro lado el riego de hoy ha sido solo de agua más zyco kleanse así prevenimos la sobrefertilizacion. Día 9/10/20 día 33 de floración Hoy preparamos un nuevo tanke de nutrición y lo hacemos a 1,75 de ec y a 6,1 de ph. En los siguientes días observaremos cómo se adaptan a esta nutrición x si tenemos que realizar cambios. No te lo pierdas!! Día 11/10/20 día 35 de floración Hoy te reina la semana 5 de floración y lo hacemos preparando un nuevo tanque de nutrición con el tanque totalmente limpio. La solución está a 1.8 ec, 6.1 ph y a 20 grados. La temperatura de la sala se mantiene a 23 6 la humedad al 47% para evitar la aparición de hongos en sus últimos días de maduración , algo que se puede apreciar en el avance de sus flores. Sep 27: still lots of buds remaining and did a big defoliation to expose them to sunlight. Very nice and the hash resin looks terrific. Awesome. Oct 1: the remaining lower buds are almost ready, and I will likely harvest them this weekend. There are lots buds left - like 1 kg of wet kind of a lot. Oct 3: harvested lower buds totalling 280 + 1106 g wet for hash plus 1350 g from previous. Total wet of 2736 g buds equivalent to 620 g dried buds. Rock on.

I did some barrier as is the last week i can do foliar spray as these bastards but furthermore is really a red flag as u can create the conditions for contract some fungi. By a lot of having still figuring out the perfection of both illumination & thermals , still trying to enhance the light spectrum , and doing the first interaction with uv exposition to check that plants dont stress or physically burn, as i want to do the uv shit for late flowering as i expect by genetics this shit SHOULD BE A QUICK FLOWERING so, im entering to late flowering and do it for entire 4 weeks and then consider if plants show that are ripe enough, considering there is a quick underdeveloped automatic at bottom on a 12/12 scenario, and thus that motherfucker will not be forgiven by it unstability of this batch. 👻 Also i noticed i had slight fox-tailing that was quite provoked by messed up outside weather, so i still may need to ellaborate on lights to prevent excess of generated heat as well, as can incur in some penalty . I have a faint idea how to deal with as HEAT HERE WILL BE HELL.

OH MY GOD. 😂🔥🍮 Much like her sister... this girl is a beast. But she's a completely different kind of beast. Because when I look at Chem Brûlée Pheno B now, I honestly don't know what else to call her. She's peculiar. She's exquisite. She's unusual. She's beautiful. And the flower formation she's putting together is absolutely fascinating. You look at the plant... then you look closer... then closer again... and suddenly you're thinking: "Okay... what the hell are you building here?" 😂🍮🔥🌸 And I absolutely love it. This is exactly why we grow phenotypes separately. Because two plants can share the same room, the same environment, the same photons, the same nutrition and the same grower... and still come out looking completely different. Her sister is a beast in her own way. Pheno B? She's a different animal entirely. And honestly... I have a feeling this one may be a connoisseur's kind of girl. Let's see where she takes us. For now... let's give this beautiful beast the spotlight she deserves. ──────────────────────── 🔥 She's A Beast — But Her Own Kind Last week we talked about Chem Brûlée Pheno B claiming her place in the tent. Well... I think she's officially claimed it. 😂🔥 She's not asking for permission anymore. She's just there. Standing in her space. Building these incredible flowers. Showing us structures that make you stop and look twice. And that's probably the biggest thing I'm noticing this week. Her individuality has become impossible to miss. She's not simply "another Chem Brûlée." She's Chem Brûlée Pheno B. And the further we go into the flowering cycle, the more obvious that distinction becomes. Her sister has her own expression. This girl? Completely different. And that's what makes this so much fun. ──────────────────────── 👀 Look At That Formation! Seriously... look at the photographs. 😂📸🔥 Look at that formation. Look at those flowers. Look at the way the buds are developing. Look at the structure. Look at the plant. There are certain moments during a grow where you stop thinking like a grower for a second and simply become a spectator. This is one of those moments. Because I'm looking at her and thinking: "Okay... I really want to see what this becomes." 😂🍮🌸 She's developing a very particular structure. The flowers have their own shape. The way everything is stacking and forming is different. And the closer you look... the more interesting she becomes. Move closer... and suddenly the details start appearing. The resin. The pistils. The individual flower structures. The little variations in shape. The texture. The density. And all those little details that make a phenotype interesting. This is why I enjoy photographing them so much. The eye sees the plant. The camera lets you study the plant. And Chem Brûlée Pheno B gives us plenty to study. Every angle seems to show something slightly different. ──────────────────────── 🌸 The Flowers Are The Main Character Now We're deep enough into flowering that the plant's architecture has already told us most of its story. Now? The flowers are doing the talking. And they're talking loudly. 😂🌸 They're becoming more substantial. They're becoming more defined. The pistils are changing. The resin is becoming increasingly visible. And the overall structure is moving further toward maturity. This is the stage where I stop worrying about making the plant look a certain way. The plant already knows what she wants to be. Now I just want to see the final version. And judging by what I'm seeing... I'm very curious. ──────────────────────── 🌿 Same Room — Completely Different Beast This is probably the most beautiful part of the whole 8×8 Adventure. Because if you put Pheno A and Pheno B beside each other, you can immediately see that they're related... but they're not the same. Same genetics. Different phenotype. And what a difference. One girl gives us one expression. The other gives us something completely different. And that's exactly why individual phenotype diaries matter. If I simply photographed the room and said: "Here are two Chem Brûlée plants." you'd lose so much of the story. Instead... we get to follow: 🍮 Pheno A 🍮 Pheno B Two individual plants. Two individual personalities. Two completely different interpretations of the same genetic starting point. And honestly? That's fascinating. ──────────────────────── ☀️ Same Photons — Different Answer The lighting experiment continues exactly the same way. Future of Grow Black Series LEDs. Two additional Black Series 600W fixtures added to the room. Controlled output. Approximately: 🔌 59% power from the plug with around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. And here's the beautiful part. Pheno B is receiving those same photons as everybody else. We're not giving her some special VIP lighting programme. 😂☀️👑 She's under the same artificial sun. But look at what she's doing with it. This is the whole experiment. We provide the environment. The genetics provide the interpretation. And this girl is interpreting those photons in her own very peculiar way. ──────────────────────── 💡 More Capability — More To Observe The additional Future of Grow fixtures have been one of the most interesting upgrades to this room. We gained more lighting capability. The initial output was higher than our target. So we brought the fixtures down. Now we're operating at a controlled level that gives us strong light without needing to run everything at maximum output. And meanwhile... the plants get to show us what they do with it. Pheno B is giving us quite an answer. 😂🍮🔥 A huge thank you again to Future of Grow for supplying those additional Black Series 600W fixtures for this experiment. Without them, we wouldn't have this additional variable to observe. And with twelve different phenotypes... there's certainly plenty to observe. ──────────────────────── 🌱 We're Doing Less — She's Doing More This is another thing I really appreciate at this stage. We're not doing much physically to this girl. The architecture is already established. The flowers are already there. The plant has made her decisions. So our job becomes much simpler. Observe. Monitor. Maintain. Document. And get the hell out of the way. 😂🌿 Because honestly... what am I going to do to improve this? Look at her. She's already doing her thing. Sometimes the best thing a grower can do is recognize when the plant doesn't need to be messed with. And Pheno B is definitely one of those girls right now. ──────────────────────── ⚗️ Nutrition — Still Moving Toward The Finish The nutritional programme remains in the same transition we're using across the room. Terra Bloom is currently: 🌸 2.0 ml/L with the EC sitting around: ⚡ ~2.05 mS/cm Alongside the current supporting programme: 🌱 Pure Zym — 1 ml/L 🌿 Power Buds — 1 ml/L 🍯 Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L And we're continuing to approach the later stages gradually. I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

This week everything continues to progress smoothly with no major changes. I slightly reduced the LED intensity, and the plant is now receiving around 650–700 PPFD to keep the environment balanced during flowering. For now, I’m just maintaining stable conditions and letting the flowers continue developing 🌸💪
