And the winner is….. Divine Kush! To say the least, she fought the most and she really shined through. If you see the video above 👆 you can see how wowed we are by her, not only because she sprouted her own seed within herself but also because it shows how much moisture she had to deal with and she sort of found an interesting way to disperse of it! We did try to plant her seedling but unfortunately it did not survive but we are still in awe of it happening before our eyes. Nature is amazing and Our Kushy girl is very much appreciated, she has taught us quite a bit this year. WOW 🤩💚✌️ Plz note, we totally forgot to weigh her.

In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

After germinating the seeds are transplanted into small pots with soil (see tutorial in VIDEO above). The soil is prepared with water mixed with a little bit of BIO NOVA Roots (0,5 ml/l), which aids the development of the seedling. Transplanting is very easy now, because they have grown a STRAIGHT tap-root while hanging during the SERIOUS' WAY of germination. This straight root allows for easy potting of the seeds. Simply make a little hole in the center of the soil with your pinky finger and carefully place the germinated seed with the white root pointing DOWNWARDS into the hole. Best is to lay it onto one side-wall of the hole with the seed shell right at the surface. Then I push the other side inwards and enclose the whole root with soil. At the end only the top of the seed-shell peeks out of the soil. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to plant the seeds NOT TO DEEP into the soil. The seedling only needs extra strength to work itself upwards thru the soil and you run the risk of the soil drying out and the seed dying off. When you PLANT THE SEED VERY SHALLOW into the soil (=with the top of the seed-shell still peeking out) your seedling can grow out right away and you have a small plant already 24 hours after putting the seed into the soil. The small seedling sometimes still has the seed-shell on its 'head', it normally falls off by itself, but sometimes you have to carefully help and take it off with your finger nails. Be careful to NOT clip of the seedling accidentally when you do this! The seed-shall has an inner lining, which feeds the small seedling when it germinates. This inner lining sometimes gets tangled around the stem of the small seedling after the shell has fallen off. This little skin MUST be taken off the stem right away! Once it dries up, it gets hard and can strangulate the seedling around the stem. In order to avoid this, the skin must be taken off as soon as possible! I show it in the pics above and also made a video about taking off the inner lining of the seed.

Week 1

So as I'm not home this week i will just update what i did on my last day home. I added another reservoir, put a pump in it and a fill hose up into my main reservoir (which is 4 feet off the floor to gravity feed my blumat system). Installed a JB and wired in my pump and 2 level switches. They are wired in series with the switches in the normally closed position so the water level will break or make the circuit. Switch 1 is in the main reservoir to call for water and switch 2 is in my spill tray to stop a potential runaway from happening. After getting everything filled to the levels i wanted i did a test run and it worked great. Unfortunately i didn't look closely enough at the specs on the switches and #1 burnt out because it's meant for dc power not ac. My bad , so i hooked up a timer set it for 2 minutes a day as i didn't have time to fix it. I decided that it was a good time to flip over to flower and I'm going with 13/11 lighting schedule see if there's any difference. Happy growing

Overall very happy with the grow. Got 24oz of very dense nugs! I also managed to get 2oz of less dense but still pretty bag-appeal, and a shit ton of trim which I made into tidy ass brownies, which have made typing this incredibly difficult😂! Both of these strains are definitely bed time strains. The Critical kush is has the usual overwhelming kush taste, however the peyote(purple nugs) have a very sweet / flowery taste and smell. Disappointed I only done 1 peyote but more than happy with the critical. Would definitely grow both these strains again!

Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: She needs a bit more time to be done like 2 weeks from now.

Week 3 Flower To start the week off she was given a maintenance flush. This is the last m/flush she'll be given, until she starts her 2+ week flush at the end of her cycle. It's just as, if not more important than the first m/flush, as there could be more leftover nutrients than the first from being given heavier strength feedings. It's a good way to flush out the excess nutrients that can no longer be uptaken by the plant, and replace them with a fresh bloom feed so she can keep building her flowers. She clearly needs it as she already has good sized top buds for this early stage of flower. Silicon has been reduced to the norm now she's over her main stretch, and the base nutrients have been adjusted based around a 1:2:3 ratio, but favouring ﹰFloraﹰBloom. I've started using Green leaf nutrinets Bud Explosion in small amounts, to increase bud sites and calyx production. Their Sweet Candy is also now being included; this should improve the flavour and aroma. I'm doing a proper test with these on a clone from the Bubble Kush that I made a diary for, as this is a fairer test because I can compare to her first run. Along with her great calyx production, she's now starting to produce plenty of trichomes, and will soon frost up well throughout flower. Overall, a very happy and healthy looking girl so far. I am a little late on updating this week. I left the girls alone for a few days and came back to a jungle. Going to be doing a lot of defoliation over the next couple days. I have cut out the maxigro, silica, and humic/fulvic. I started them on some liquid koolbloom to help build the buds. Twisted helix is a very sad plant. The leaves literally turn upside down like it just wants to die. If I just brush up against the plant is shows signs of major stress. I will give the strain one more chance in the future before I call it a failure. Other than that all the plants are looking happy and packing on some pistils. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming.....

Week 13, Flower (Day 53 12/12) So a little bit of a hissy fit the last week. I'm gunna put it down to temps getting too low it's the only thing I can put my finger on. I started to see new growth almost like re-veg out the tops of the bud and I started to see a deficiency creep in which I diagnosed as calcium. I'm still not 100% on whats caused the re-veg and have asked a few growers, some have put it to genetics and this is a mutation of some sort. Anyway on a more positive note, getting super sticky full of resin on every leaf. As soon as the tent is opened it stinks the entire house out. Very powerful terps coming through and I still have a good couple weeks left in it. Purples and red also coming through now. Buds getting very heavy. Will be needing yoyos/supports for this girl.

First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well!
