Flowering day 77 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Light is now at 100% intensity, and I have begun adding RAW BLOOM Microbes to the soil. Going to let it go another week before I defoliate again.

Clones are nice and rooted threw off some new growth. So its time to rock and roll into flower. Get this breeding underway. Been on 12/12 for couple days now and the male has soared. Definitely gunna be more than adequate height to dump pollen down on my ladies. I treated with Dr zhymes as s preventative. I also got them on a balanced feed. Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Buds are starting to fatten up great. The smell is wonderful and they are now in the final stretch. Water only no feed until harvest from here on. I stopped defoliation as I feel they did not take too well to defoliation, and took roughly 3days to recover fully. PPFD is at 1200 yes i love pushing this into the higher range duringbflower, but only if the plants can handle it. The frost is starting to cover the buds and rhey are rock hard!! Excuse my photos, I have full spectrum LED so light spectrum can't be changed for better photos. Lower foliage is starting to die off and I expect this to now continue throughout the larger part of the plant with plain watering. All in all getting excited.

Flower has begun and things are starting to take shape. Small amount of stretch has begun and nutes have been switched to flower. 3 ladies are very happy and are starting to shoot pistils.

Day 79, 28th of November 2020: Hi there! Here we go let's say half way. Plants are pretty these Original Sensible Seeds genetics are fantastic! The 2 OG and the Runtz Gum is very strechy. Black Ghost is pretty shorter bushier plant. Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG approx the same height Do-Si-Dos OG is taller a bit. Wedding Gelato is really cool little, bushy anf nice buds forming not problem with her all she is quiet. Do-Si-Dos OG has some deficiency and leaf gets dry but nothing very serious..... Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

This girl has had a great week. She has put on some good leaf growth, and has rebounded from the light stress. I had been doing bending her top over to expose the lower branches, no ties just repeating the process. She got transplanted near the end of the week into a 2 gallon pot, and got her first real dose of nutrients. RH has been steady at about 65% and temps are consistent at 78-79 degrees. The 2x4 tent is super easy to manage with the AC in-line fan/controller and a small 250 watt heater outside the tent at the fresh air draw. 😊 I think my plan for this one is to veg it out long enough, to do a single plant SCROG in my 2x4 tent. Defoliated them a little. Nothing special. I try to keep at least 3 or so big leaves below the net jfust in case there is an issue with the plant where it shows the symptoms at the lower branches first. I believe this way I'm faster to diagnose in case something does go wrong with feeding. Oh yeah, trellis is about 30cm (give and take) above the pots

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. I grew two plants and they couldn't have been and more different from each other. One plant grew quite well in my organic amended soil, the other suffered from pH issues and did not like any kind of stress. The plants leaves grew quite different some were webbed especially the ones on the larger flowers. The structure of the flowers on this plant are very chunky fox tail with absolutely gigantic caylex', almost had me thinking seeds. This plant also took almost 3 more weeks in flower than her sister. This plant also had a nice fade with some pink,red,violet,gold colors coming through. Both plant have similar smell with one being a little more pungent and gassy. Now for the normal plant, she grew like a rock star. Hey flowers are covered in sugar and are top shelf dense. She was too down about two weeks ago and is in jars and curing, let me say this though"when Barney's Farm says to use caution they mean it". This plant produced some very strong medicine so much so that I may have found a strain I would grow continually for a year or so. It's that good IMO. The plant did not give me a single bit of fuss 🤗, unlike her sister. Now I have the remaining plant hung up to dry and trim. Can't wait Cheers!!!

Esta vez toca darles vida a estos esquejes de Wedding cake, bajo mi punto de vista de las mejores genéticas que hay. Hoy hace justo una semana que llegaron y las puse en las macetas pequeñas, donde han estado 5 días hasta que las he pasado a las macetas de 1l que usaré esta vez para darles crecimiento. Las dos veces anteriores las puse del tirón en la maceta final, a ver qué tal sale así. El clima está siendo fácil de controlar porque las condiciones son idóneas en el exterior. He cometido algún pequeño fallo como transplantarlas demasiado pronto creo yo, también algún desbarajuste con el ajuste del humidificador, ya que es nuevo y aún no controlaba bien. Por lo general contento por cómo están evolucionando hasta el momento. A seguir dándoles cariño para que crezcan sanas y fuertes 💪
