And the flowering begins! Changed the timer today to 12/12. The plant stems don't seem perfect to me but the clones didn't come as good as they should have been. They were the only ones i had though. The temperature is too high but i can't lower it anymore it's too hot were i live. Can't wait for the colder days! :/ Usually i opt for Scrog but this time i'm going with LST instead because since the grow space is small, its easier for me in case i want to flush or move the plants around. Gonna start the bloom boosters next week. Yay!

July 19: first night of force flowering last night. Plants in dark garage at 9:30 pm and out again at 7:30 am for 10 h darkness. Also using 730 nm far red light at transition to dark which puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster so it鈥檚 like getting a 26 h day with 12 h of darkness. Force flowering for 2-3 weeks to make a solid transition into flowering and to get the buds ripening under the stronger summer sun. July 22: Foliar spray with Epsom salts and potassium silicate this morning. The magnesium in the Epsom salts seems to help with yellowing on the new growth. July 23: added another loose Scrog net layer. Tied to water bottles to open up the canopy to sunlight. July 25: watering yesterday included some water leftover over from steaming beets for dinner. That likely contained lots of N because beets are high in nitrate and the plants are very green this morning.

Alright! So she's officially been back on track for quite a while now. She seems to have actually started bud development! So we can officially consider this week 1 of flower. Haven't defoliated her quite yet, but I will later today. So far I've just been training her by bending and supercropping here and there. I've been feeding her nutes twice a week by this point, with a water in between. Not quite at the 1/4gal. per day point. I sense that'll be somewhere between weeks 2, and 3 of flower. She's up to 9-fingered leaves which means, everything's going smooooth as can be. Cheers, and bless you and your garden! 馃檶

Ok so i had a bad week super high humidity im using a small dehumidifier that is helping a bit .. The plant is still growing strong but i cut a lot of leaves to avoid any mildew in the tent . The plant still smells great and is very citrus smelling . The constant rain and humidity has been a very difficult issue but she seems to be doing very well right now so im staying hopeful ..

At day 77 from seed, 31 days since the switch to 12-12, I hope she is done stretching because my light is as high as I can make it and as close as I want the plant. This girl is one stretchy beast. She is starting to smell a little more but still not strongly. I'm excited to watch her fill out. I will do very little defoliation from here on. She looks happy to me so far even though it looks like she has filled my tent out.

Day 70 ..... lookin good.... she stable in flower now... neuts good, and stable... got her into a beautiful rutinue for the rest of the flower..... really happy with how it's going, she has a long flower 65-70 days i think.... thats 8-10 weeks in flower, so maybe 4-6weeks to go (6-20 dec) ........ she's going to be alot of work but will be well worth it, tasted her alittle, just the trim that had to come off, was enough to taste..... (dried the trim, curin in jar, try to add pic if i remember, lol) was a new experience goin thru the difficulties of transition to flower in dwc iws system ....... listed general nuets that i am using, however the 1-2 lt mix i put in every day or 2 is mixed up at the time, and is specific every time to ensure the tank remains at 5.8-6.4 ph-1-2k ppm.... i've stopped using the ppm meter for accuracy and use it only to get a general reading... in fact the ph meter and ec/ppm meters are not really workin properly any more, lol the blood bone and all the different stuff that i'm using puts alot of the readings as false/wrong ..... i can see where a nido system would be handy, maybe if i had the cash.... i gotta do all this the old fashioned way... elbow grease, hard work... haha this is some crazy news... random unknown mazar in that iws dwc pot... it's female as of the 2 hairs i saw this morning.... haha... so i'm thinkin, i may be able to put the mazar and ssh in main tent with all resources used.... that would put both mazar and ssh in iws dwc perfect pots in perfect conditions with max light and resources..... might do that, it would increase both flowering plants to 280 W leds... .... the reason mentioned this is because i can see she needs more light, the coloured light panels are poor quality cheapo..... gotta get my home made kick azz lights back in there.... lol 馃憤馃槑馃憡

The plants have slowed their uptake of water. That combined with cooler temps have reduce to watering to a few gallons a day. I've included my end of generative 3 phase nutrient formula for this week. They are all close to generative 4 so I'll be watching for the upper leaves to fade to see if they will need to be fed. All of the plants were given tap water on day 1. Day 2 of this week everyone received the nutrient formula listed @2 gallons per pot. Day 3-7 this week just tap water. Plants are feeding lite and there's plenty of nutrient built up in the soil.

I鈥檓 enjoying the journey of my first grow. Coming close to harvest in a few weeks so I鈥檓 right on target for thanksgiving 馃槀! Blue dream has been a privilege to plant, a simple LST but it has paid off. Mainlining northern lights as well as BPP has been surprisingly hands off except for a little defoliation. Happy planting peeps 馃槑!

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn鈥檛 really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!
