Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Pistils finally popped up yesterday on a few of the top sites! Should start seeing some solid stretch from Grape og soon, guessing around 30 to 40cm at least. I’m letting her do her thing and reach up into the net for now. If she starts getting crowded before the end of week 3, I’ll kick off some early defoliation. Also got two AC Infinity IonBeam S11 lights set up sitting about level with the top colas. I’m aiming the light to hit the middle and lower sections instead of blasting the tops directly, trying to get that nice even coverage. Still debating whether I even need to scrog this run, but a few people keep telling me to give it a go to see the difference, I guess only one way to tell 🙌

This is actually Week 6, little delayed on this diary. Grease Monkey is performing beautifully, noticing first signs of fade. Was going to give one more feed before I start flushing, as it could definnetly still use some nutrients! Buds are bulking incredibly, fat golf ball sized nugs, that real of rubber tires, fastfood/garlic burger, with notes of an oil spill or diesel spill. Super intoxicating aroma, never smelled anything like this before Packing on frost amazing, bulking up super well. If it wasn't for the Herm, would've been my best grow yet!

The seed popped after ~48h and was planted directly into her forever home. A 20 litre airpot filled with new 6:1 compost:perlite mix.

12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I foliar fed them with big bloom and fulvic acid a few times today and gave them about 4 ounces to drink. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Mega Power plant auto grew great. I ran her a bit long and she foxtailed on me. I was aiming for more of a good night kinda smoke. Hopefully with the relaxing qualities of this strain, plus the extra ripeness I may have a winner. I won't find out likely for about 2 months. Between dry time, and others ahead of her with my schedule I am getting them done as fast as I can. Very frosty flowers. Has a sweet earthy fruity smell. I have a harvest video that would not upload. Getting some clawing on some of my leaves. I honestly can't tell if this is from the fan. I have a large fan inside of the tent which may just become a house fan. I can't imagine what it would be like with four plants in there with this fan. I've upped my nutrients back to 4/4/8 ml/Gallon. I'm needing to water nearly twice daily. I'm debating adding in just some plain water to wash some of the salts out now that i'm at the half way mark. I may do this tonight. Today marks day 36! I am so proud of how well these plants are doing. They're requiring minimal training and I have defoliated some leaves and any dying leaves underneath. My biggest plant now has it's own light as it's quite a bit taller then the other two. The main kola is very close to the light. It's not flowering as heavily as the others though I suspect it will be my largest yielder. Thanks for checking out my grow!

Today marks day 22 since we flipped to 12/12 and about 2 weeks into true flower. Struggling to install the reptile UV bulbs optimally but we should have them in this next week. Did another defoliation and thinning out of side branches. Otherwise things are looking good. Check you next week ;)

12th week of happiness

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 91°F. Skies were clear but it was super humid. I defolated some more today. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 94° with partly cloudy to clear skies. It was super hot and humid. I watered 3-4 gallons from the well. I'm defoliating a few leaves here and there and opening these girls up. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94 with average humidity of 94. Skies were cloudy and we had thunderstorms that produced high winds and heavy rainfall. Several of my 7 gallon pots that hadn't rooted into the ground were blown over. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 83°F. It was super humid today and we had a very heavy fog this morning. I watered about 3.5-4 gallons from the well. Day 5 we had cooler weather today with a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were partly cloudy and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. Day 6 we had cooler weather today with a high temperature of 79°F. Skies were mostly sunny and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. I treated with Arber bio fungicide Day 7 we had a high temperature of 79° with mostly cloudy skies. The nights have been dripping below 69°F, creating an ideal environment for powdery mildew. I treated with Arber biofungicide. Lady bugs were released and are having an aphid feast. Overall this week was a success. The plants have stretched, but aren't finished. One of the plants topping at 8' 5". That height is measure from the top of the soil to the top of the plant. We have had very heavy dews, fog, rain, mist, and very high humidity the last few weeks. This week was very hard on the plants the cool nights really exasperated these girls issues with powdery mildew.
