Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Shes on the last strech ..suppose to be 55 days dat would give her around 10 more days ..the buds are getting significantly bigger and bigger every day but will see wat the trichomes says might go longer then 55 days of flower

Discovered a magnesium deficiency this week. Flushed and added Epsom salts

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

I ran 5 plants in total. Wet trimmed weight (with shortened branches) per plant was: 1. 720 g 2. 760 g 3. 773 g 4. 780 g 5. 580 g Total wet weight: 3,613 g There are no “larf” or airy popcorn buds everything came out dense and frosty. I did heavy lollipopping throughout the grow, and even the lowest flowers turned out hard, resinous, and full of sugar. Estimated dry yield is between 720–900 g (based on the typical 20–25% dry ratio from wet weight). But we will see after drying.

Very easy to grow, doesnt require much nutrients but needs loads of cal/mag in flower. You've been warned, ive had 9 seeds and 9 successful yields so the nimbers don't lie. #420everyday.

Day 63: Hi all , a productive week it has been this week. The #2 has been taken out for her 48hr dark period before trimming and drying. She jas so much frost onher dark purple and red buds now too. she will be trimmed later tonight so will post a few pics later. Gorilla girls #1 is so close to finishing now too. Her colours are starting really come through now she is maturing and her smell is so sweet and clearly pineapples too. Her yield should be ok bit being kept lower may have been a factor in her overall size. perfect for a low , cupboard grow. #3 is very close to #1 in terms of a finish, if only a few days behind . Shebis so much smaller but her finalnpushbjas bought her on par for the amount of decent sized buds that smell so sweet and are starting to brown off on the tops mainly. I won't rush her but she is close. #4 is still my sneaky favourite for appearance without doubt. She is so beautiful as a plant it will be a shame to cut her down. She is so covered in trichs now that she looks silver and red. At least another week I thinks to get the best from this lady. A brilliant example of genetics. Sweet cheese is also very close to her finish but at least a week jumping by the fresh looking pistils poking out all over her thick main. She stinks of fuel now too. I will be interested to see how much she yields compared to trained ladies. Well hopefully the next update will be to say they are all hanging to dry amd maybe 1 actually harvested. Until then . be safe and sane Growmies UPDATE. the #2 is now trimmed and drying....

2nd week of stretch in the books and the males showed up on time. We pared the grow down by 4/5 plants. I think I’ve got at least one more male to cull from the lot. Still having serious struggles with getting the females to transition in earnest and cut back all the fan leaves pretty severely to try and encourage some stress induced fruiting. Still very unhappy with the strain to date and now they’re just taking up space. No issues, nor were any expected in this system and I’ll be happy to be done with these. Now it’s just waiting for the finish.

This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

She’s finally down 😸 I finished harvesting the lower buds this morning. Most of the buds appeared to have matured. Filled another one and a half hangers, I can’t get over how much this plant has produced. All the buds feel solid to the touch and the trichome coverage is phenomenal. She’s got a really sweet gassy aroma, with a funky backend. I’ve done a final trim on all the top/mid buds, they’re just having a few more days to finish up. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I 100% plan on doing a final smoke report update with an overall yield and plenty of pictures. Made a small test batch of rosin from the final trim, came out fantastic, it’s retained all the smell, it’s ridiculously strong and smokes extremely smooth 😻. I’d like to thank everyone who’s had a look, commented or liked this diary. I hope it’s been helpful in some way 😸. I’ve finally got round to trimming the last of the Slurricane and I was amazed with how well she yielded. I got 9 ounces of solid buds that are covered in a ridiculous amount of trichomes! I don’t have any way of testing her but she looks like a 30%+ THC content, absolutely phenomenal buds. I also got 2 ounces of smaller leafier buds that were round the bottom of the plant and a stupid amount of premium quality trim. All this has been frozen to make into Rosin at a later date. The Buds themselves have a unique smell and taste, it’s gassy, but has a strange sweet taste that lingers In the mouth. I’ve never really had anything like it before. She packs an absolute punch! Immediate flushing to the face whether it be Rosin or Flower, I’d say she leans more to the indica side of things, but that could just be me 🤷‍♂️ All the top buds have had a weeks cure and are smoking unbelievably smooth even at this stage 😸 I’m storing some of it in a jar and I’ve posted a pic of the bottom of it, it’s almost completely white from the loose trichomes that have shaken off 😻. The Rosin I’ve made so far has been fantastic and I’ve only used trim, I’ve yet to press any flower, but I reckon she should give some decent returns! Overall she’s ticked a lot of the boxes for things I look for in a decent keeper plant. I’ve got a mother clone vegging so I’ll be running groups in the future. Great plant, great smoke 😻🌱💚

2/12: I moved the Platonium, both Sucrose Overdose, and the last Muscadine Wine into the dark. The Velvet Sugah Bref, GG4, and Berry Bomb are the last plants from this diary, and they are just getting water and Liquidsoil. They are all in the closet now and getting blasted with extremely cold winter air and intense UVB for their last week. 2/13: I harvested the Platonium, both Sucrose Overdose, and the last Muscadine Wine tonight. Sexy sexy bitches...ooh la la! Not embarrassed to say that I got major wood while giving them a bath...😜
