Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. The aroma is definitely fully developing now, I'm getting more green apple smell with a creamy sweetness, it's hard to describe 😂 I've started to taper off the nutrients in the past few days, in the next couple of days I'm going to start watering with plain water until the end. Trichomes are getting cloudy. She is fattening up nicely and she seems to just keep piling on the weight, buds are looking dense. Not long now, probably about 2 weeks give or take 👌🏻🏻💚 have a good weekend, stay high ...

Feb 22 / Day 74: Heavy defoliation of many fan and larger sugar leaves

As you can see that I have taken allot of leaves of because they were getting too yellow and drying up. So far she is fdoing great. I have been giving her les frequently water now. Like every other 3 or 4 day. Thats because she has less leaves now to hold water. The smell is just fruity and mazing. I think she still needs 2 weeks but lets see.

GMO × Triangle Mints BX – Week 18 Veg | Transition on the Horizon 145cm now and she’s been given more room to breathe — moved to a more open spot with full sky exposure, and it shows. The upper internodes have started stretching out noticeably, which at this time of year with daylight slowly declining from the solstice peak is likely the first signal that transition is not far off. No pistils visible yet but the structure is beginning to shift. Did another defoliation pass to keep airflow through the canopy and gave the main stems some support with wire ties — at this size and with what’s coming in flower, a bit of structural insurance makes sense. Day temps 28°C, nights 18°C. Watering holding at 25L per feed, EC at 1.2 mS/cm, pH 6.2. Nutrients: CANNA Aqua Vega 3ml/l, CalMag Agent 1.1ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. The forecast this week brings some rain — around 15mm with the heaviest hitting Tuesday morning, temperatures reaching up to 27°C by Thursday. Winds light throughout. 420Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 9 Hello everyone from far and wide on this beautiful planet. Weekly update for these twins. Both seem to be in mid flower on cruise control with no big issues present. I'll most likely stop feeding nutes this week and just go with ph'd water after that till harvest. All the colas on both are super chunky so it'll be exciting to see how the next week or two turn out. All in all Happy Growing

Hello & big Welcome.... To my Greenfingeress diary "Weed Seeds Express" strain "Ak-48" auto 🌿 donated by the generous guys from Weed Seeds Express who I'd like to say a big thumbs up 👍 for all their support and Excellent strain choice😁 Germination was successful within 24hours... In moist tissue paper with just plain ph5.6 water, in my usual ice-cream tub with holes in the lid to keep the moisture then placed into mother room to keep warm.. 😁 Can't wait to get these girls going🌿 14 Hour's later all my girl's have popped as you can see 😁 weed Seeds Express always have strong good seeds 100% success rate👍 Day 2.... Carefully planted into some plain soil then into propagation, I have heat mat inside giving me high humidity (although I wish I had a better light😤) just waiting for a head's up now 😂 Well will you look at them go... Using smaller domes now tightly on (no gaps) Day 3.... After 24hour's in propagation unit with heat mat and smaller domes they have all come through.... I'm quite chuffed as they don't look to thin and long at the moment fingers crossed😬🍀 Day 4.... Now into my veg tent with bigger domes on, as you can see I am growing 4 girls, three of them are in the same pot going to Greenfingers666 one of them I am growing all the way through to harvest😬 As you can see I've added some pictures of my veg tent of all the different strains I'm growing and all the different ages they are... Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!

Day 66 : Lady is fattening. I increased nitrogen (bio-grow) in order to fix some deficiencies. Also i removed Calcium this week. She is a bit behind, maybe 4 weeks, i don't know. Trichomes production just started. Edit Day 70 : She takes weight but not so fast, trichomes develop is slow, and i assume that she is stressed because of air flow on her for much time. I hope she pass this situation. I increased Biogrow to 5.4 ml / L. The other doses remain the same.

I know you shouldn't really be defoliating when auto plants are in flower but I had to clear a path for airflow around the bottom of the plant because humidity is high because of the summer months apart from that she is going from strength to strength couldn't be happier would definitely grow Dutch passion again

buds are getting fat and smell is more intense now. the watering level is low and the leaves are yellowing so i won't refill it because the plant is near to harvest. I recorded a microscope video to see trychomes (sorry for my bad pulse) but enought to see that buds aren't ready to harvest, maybe the next week.

26.05 Cleaned the Tank and changed the water. Beside that nothing special to say about that grow - everything is just beautiful and developing suiper well.

Such a pleasure to grow her, she came from an auto m8 and she ended up being Photoperiod, apart from that I'm glad I've discovered her, because her buds have one of the most special and sweetest fragrance I've ever smelled in a cannabis flower, super sweet and tropical guys, such a cool strain, I definitely want to fill a lot of jars of this for my personal stash, everytime I smell her flowers makes me remember the Caribbean Islands.
