Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. They been eating a drink very fast, I’m refilling auto pots every 3-5 days

After our initial week with small issues keeping temperature and humidity consistent; we added a fan, hung our carbon filter and fixed the ducting to lower ambient temperature. We have also polyed off the entire closet to better control the environment. Our humidity and temperature have become dialed! Plants are both growing well and stretching nicely. Noticing on plant number one that it is now growing new fan leaves below where they had skipped previously. We did top it earlier in the week. Number two is growing strong, still has some browning from the heat with lack of humidity in the first week but still growing strong! Number 3 is growing strong now that the shell has fallen off. It is standing tall! Cannot wait to see how week 3 looks!

It grew a bit in the 3 weeks from last pics. I'm sure indoor growers with 18hr+ light can do better. She could care less about 2 weeks of around 110f weather. I hope one is a female. Stem rub is oily and pungent already. Did a good trim job too.

This week it is official, I have used both organic and synthetic inputs. I did notice she was starting to become a little defcient right around the time to top dress(Week 3). I think her issue was potassium. I have also been overwatering a bit, trying to get a handle on keeping the media moist, I think the wetting agent in the Pro-Mix is working as well as the worm castings. Other than that, I am really impressed with her speed of growth. To give you growmies an idea of my thought pattern on this grow, the first 3 weeks were just organic amendments. Top dressed with 1 cup of worm castings, with 5 tbsp of Home Grown and 5 tbsp of Flower girl and watered in with a light nutrient(syn) solution. Next I will water only roughly until my next top dress in 3 weeks in which time I will feed a compost tea. Thanks for those that stop by, like and comment. See ya next week growmies!

What a difference a week can make! This week, the plants have been improving day after day. At the end of Week 6 and going into this one, I continued feeding with: -Biobizz Bio-Grow (1ml/L) -Root-Juice (2ml/L) -Bio-Heaven (2ml/L) -Alg-A-Mic (2ml/L) They’ve definitely started to perk back up and are growing much better again. I’ve also been doing LST every day, just minor adjustments to keep the canopy nice and flat. The branches bounce back quickly and orient themselves toward the light with no issue. Speaking of the light — I realized it had been too close for a while (only around 30 cm…), and I was seeing signs of light stress and tip burns. So I raised the Spider Farmer SF2000 EVO to 50 cm and kept it at 80% power, which gives me around 510 PPFD according to the Photone app. Since that change, the leaves have returned to a healthy green and overall posture has improved even more. Big thanks to all the growers who helped out — your tips have been super helpful and honestly saved this grow. I’ll keep things stable now, as the plants finally seem to be back on the right track!

Getting a bit worried, only grew 3cm this week. Was supposed to harvest this coming Tuesday but looks like she might take an extra 2-4 weeks.

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

420Fastbuds FBT2311/Week 3 What up grow fam. Weekly update for these stunning girls. Up to this point they've been growing picture perfect . Not really doing anything special besides still feeding nutes every other watering 500ml. I'll double the feed this week taking it to 1000ml/1 liter per every other day. Not seeing any burn signs from introducing nutes so will keep that the same strength. All in all Happy Growing
