Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?

Defoliated the heck out of them for the last time.. 2 weeks into flowering, now I’ll just clip stuff here and there that interferes with light.. But that’s it they both look healthy.. Crazy happy with the Red Diesels come back from death to 18” tall so far and multiple colas. For a backup the Cinderella grew great.. Caught up to the diesel with a decent height and still growing.. Both strong plants I may try one re-veg, I’m in between that or mini field of green with Orange Creamsicle seeds I have.. The nutrient calculations are off.. I give them 5ml of mantis per liter every feeding, and 15 ml Bembe per gallon once a week now during flowering.

21st oct. Week 9. Just about to change to 12 12 and start them flowering, going to take 8 clones as well.

Love the way the flowers are pumping

White Widow survived! She started growing all the leaves at the same time. There is some fractal shit going on with the leaves, which is very visually appealling for me. I discovered that I like taking care of the plants, make me calm, and is a new nice and healthy hobby. The plants are listening to classical music and "582hz music" 18 hours a day! :)

It's about time for her to go in the ground. I've been defoliating the younger leaves which gave her height within the last two weeks. No complaints thus far, she is very healthy.

Last week of feed before flush, going into week 8 of flower now. These girls look and smell great. Plucked some fan leaves blocking light to bud sights. Hope to see them fatten up a little more in these last 2 weeks. 😎🌿

Week 8 is the final flush. They’ll get 1 tsp per gallon of ph’d water for the rest of their lives. They’ll get chopped whenever the trichomes appear mostly cloudy with a little bit of amber.

The weather conditions: reaching the 70 degree mark every day but still had some cold nights in the 40s. Wind has not ceased, but no precipitation. One of the biggest plants started to show some pollen sacks that were removed. Plants are examined daily and look to be thriving. One of them looks a bit sick but it is still growing. Bioprotectant was added to crops.

This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich sehr gut. Der Durst der Pflanzen variiert und wird täglich angepasst. Es wird immer früh morgens gegossen. bei der größten sehe ich abends bereits das die Erde trocken ist. ich hoffe die Blüten entwickeln sich so wie sich der ganze grow bis jetzt verlaufen ist. einfach überrascht was in der kurzen Zeit alles aus den Pflanzen kommt.
