Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.

Looking absolutely gorgeous this week. Incredibly stinky! Incredibly sticky! Really fat buds. And she's done. Will be chopped in 24h.

I'm running out of space and height. The video gives you an idea of how crammed the wee grow room has become. The Rhino filter is working well. The Northern lights that I dropped the lights onto, was a fine specimen before the accident. I'm hoping that colloidal silver will produce anthers allowing the collection of pollen. I can then cross that with a few select flowers so I have seed for next year.

👉The plant hasn't gained much more height, but the buds have started to plump and frost. The aroma has also become strong and is an intoxicating creamy lemony scent. The frost is spreading onto the sugar leaves. The buds are going to be dense. I have only taken a few of the lower and most shaded leaves, and those leaves were starting easy to pluck as if the plant was done with them anyway. Its got purple stems and at the beginning of the week show potential early signs of magnesium deficiency. This can be due to the pure H2O I use and less mag in the solution than normal, so I added an extra measure of Calmag in the mix. I haven't seen any progression of purple veins or any other notable possible nutrient issues in the leaves. The plant is full of leaves and I have zero intention to remove anymore of the food factories until the plat tells me to. 👉I used week 8 "mid Bloom" nutrient mix from the General Hydroponics Flora Series Drain to waste feed chart. The run-off has stayed within the target. I did one low EC fertigation and one H20nly event, both followed by regular strength solution.Switching to the week 9 mix this week. 👉

Both growing fine so far.

18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 3 phenotypes out of 5 Mango Crunches. 2 plants have pronounced sativa genetics. 2 plants are rather hybrid. 1 plant is mostly indica. All buds have a pleasant fruity smell. MC # 1 - 76cm - small plant, mostly indica, dense buds with many trichomes MC # 2 - 115cm - just the opposite of # 1 sativa type, very large plant with few leaves and very thin buds, curious how this plant will develop further MC # 3 - 106cm - just like # 2 sativa phenotype MC # 6 - 90cm - beautiful plant, few leaves with many beautiful thick white flowers. Hybrid type. MC # 7 - 92cm - also a beautiful plant, hybrid type like # 6 but with a slightly lesser bud production

Flower day 10 - Everything is going great so far, currently trying to find a bigger dehumidifier cause RH is staying a little higher than I would like! The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Buds poppin' off nicely. Rigged up some bamboo skewers to spread the canopy. Scent's a wild mix - citrus vibes with that diesel kick. Like fuel-soaked shop rags, no joke. Word is this strain ain't a monster yielder, but don't sleep on it. Sometimes the lowkey ones surprise you. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Gonna be fire.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I am on so many learning curves right now with this grow and keeping diaries. It is a trip and I'm loving the journey. This Gorilla Glue is showing signs of the end of life and milky trichomes. I thought she'd be ready second but she's in the lead for harvest of the three. Can't wait to see what next week brings!

So I started this plant in my miracle grow Aerogarden for about 2 weeks then moved it to the coco pots. When I moved it the stem was really thick and very impressive. I originally had a second generation hydro Hawaii Maui Waui in the tent with her, really just expecting a small grow. Instead this monster took over all the space (and then some), so I moved the Maui Waui out and spread laughing buddha out, added another net and moved the 150w to the lower side to boost the Larf a little and hopefully add weight. So far so good, the stretch was definitely amazing to encounter. She grew a whole other 3x her size, from the bottom net to where she is now. The smell is so fruity it puts the Maui to shame with the deliciousness. AMAZING!!! That's all I can say thus far is FUCKING AMAZING!!!
