Overall, the Bling strain grew very weird initially, however, it did suffer some trauma and grew 3-point leaves for awhile. Resistance to PM was not good, but was able to keep it at bay until harvest time by daily spraying of Athena Mildew Control. I prefer to use this as I was using H2O2 and it burned leaves because of the pH change. My other harvested plant, Mimosa did not do as good from that spraying, but more on her in my other post. Getting back to Bling - I felt the buds thickened up nicely in the end, with hues of purple calyxes coming out as well as with some leaves. Smells wonderful and looking forward to smoking some after the cure. More to follow...

07/06/2025 - Day 98 Short Facts: - 86 cm tall - VPD @ 1.0 - Approx. 900 PPFD - Fungus gnats still there - Thrips seen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry for not updating the diary over the past few weeks. I had a medical emergency in the family, which caused quite a bit of chaos. There’s not much to report — her flowers are getting bigger and bigger. The smell is really special and intense! It looks like senescence is starting. She has lost some color in her leaves and is now turning more yellow. Just to be safe, I added a small amount of Epsom salt. And of course, there are still problems: The fungus gnats are still around, although there are far fewer than before. I’d say their numbers are down by about 80% compared to the peak, so at least some progress has been made. I’m still fighting them and have ordered more predatory mites. Unfortunately, I also noticed some leaves that didn’t look good, so I took a closer look. The result: I found thrips on both plants. It doesn’t look like a full-blown infestation yet, so I hope I can get it under control. The predatory mites should help, and I’ve also ordered some green lacewing larvae to support the fight and hopefully wipe them out. This whole situation is really frustrating. I recently had to deal with thrips on one of my biggest Alocasias, and I’ve been battling a persistent aphid infestation on my largest Dieffenbachia for weeks now. I’ve never had this many issues with pests before.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). End of week 3, last week we removed bottom node and this week removed last node from bottom tpp, heavy lollipoping for pre veg for 2/3 weeks then flip to 12/12

On day 21 of flowering I did a heavy defoliation and lollipopping, the girls seem to be fine and the trichomes are starting to show. the smell begins to feel but still very light there. I'm fertilizing enough, at least 3 waterings with fertilizer and the 4th only water with balanced ph, always checking the ec of the drain.

Day 48 (Day 6 12/12) Plants grow real strong and all show that they are female. Lamps are on 100 % now. These lady's stretching fast. Day 52 (Day 10 12/12) Pushed down the stems in the scrognet First clone rooted and is now in a p9 on lightmix Day 54 (Day 12 12/12) Good stretch. Durban is not stretching to much. Buds are slowly forming.

As always this run is set to not Disappoint, we had such beautiful results with her outdoor and indoor, this time once again we see just how far we can stretch her limitations. The sun has come back and they spent quite some time outside. They have been growing well and I started to try some LST. But something is not right, there are stains on the leaves, an insect and more interesting creatures or shrooms. I don't know what to do.

1/23/2023 Started my 48 hour flush and my 48 hours of light yesterday at 8:00am EST. I provided a picture of the Tricomes from the last day of Week 8 for reference and have put pictures of the first day of Week 9 after 24 hours of flush and 24 hours of light. I will do the last set of picturestomorrow after the complestion fo the 48 hours of light and the 48 hours of Flush.. And then TIMBER!!! Cut it down get it into the Freeeze dryer and then start enjoing my harvest Wed afternoon. This has been a fun grow but really excited about the one right behind this. Aya room up to now is giving pretty impressive results and it looks like they like the enviroment even tho its not fully equiped. After adding the c4 neet to celan the insides a little bit more and see how it will react.
