🌿 Pink Rozay x Strawberry Banana Auto - Fresh Frozen Dry Ice Extraction! ❄️🍓💨 Let's get it rolling! What is up, GrowDiaries fam? We reached the finish line with the Pink Rozay x Strawberry Banana Auto, but we took a slightly different route for this harvest. Instead of the standard dry and cure, we went straight to the deep freeze for a live plant extraction! 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Fresh Frozen Harvest: We chopped her down and immediately froze the live plant material to lock in those volatile terpenes. You can see the frosty, deep green nugs mixed right in with the dry ice pellets. Dry Ice Extraction: Dropping temps to sub-zero! I tossed the fresh frozen buds directly onto the extraction tray with chunks of dry ice to freeze those trichome heads so they snap right off the stalks, which you can see prepped. This method is incredible for preserving that fresh, live-plant flavor profile I'm always chasing when producing my solventless terpene extracts. The Yield Preview: Inspecting the frozen nugs with the black extraction gloves, you can see how perfectly preserved the structure and resin glands remain before the agitation begins. 💧 Next Steps: Now we agitate and sift! The extreme cold from the dry ice will make those trichomes brittle enough to break away cleanly. We'll collect that fresh frozen bubble hash, dry it out properly, and then it is straight to the rosin press to see what kind of golden terpene profile we can squeeze out of this Strawberry Banana cross. 👇 Question for the community: When you guys run fresh frozen material, do you prefer washing it in water for traditional ice water bubble hash, or do you lean toward the dry ice method for a quicker return? The first of week three

Big big week. Site prep in woods 400 yards from home, middle of neighborhood urban GG. Babies getting strong indoors as temps outside are cool at night on the 50’s but hot in the day, around 72 - 77, Some fun inside and outside.

Unusual late year warm weather has put a hurting on my grow. I intentionally did RDWC in winter to utilize cool temps for my res and not need a chiller, after having random 78 degree days, I’ve ordered a chiller. The temps are a death sentence in hydro, I was adding ice to the res to battle it, won’t happen again after this chiller is put in. Definitely hurt the Apex plant, which has been a pain the entire grow.. it all started when Apex was a seedling, with its tap root growing up instead of down. She looks sad, If she dies or falls too far behind, I’ll train the other three around to fill in the space. No visible signs of root rot but I’m suspicious after those temps, have treated with Orca, SLF-100, and Hydroguard. Worst case scenario, I’ll dump the system and sanitize as best I can.

DAY 6 WEEK 2 - FLOWER Hello fellow growers, I'm thrilled to report that my current grow is progressing smoothly as I enter Week 2 Day 6. The plant is showing promising signs of healthy growth with no apparent deficiencies detected thus far. However, I've encountered some peculiar symptoms with the leaves; it seems like there's some tissue tearing or ripping occurring. Despite thorough inspections, I'm confident in stating that pests are not the culprit, as I haven't observed any other signs they typically leave behind. It's a bit perplexing, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. One aspect I've been experimenting with in this grow is the use of an ExHale CO2 bag. While I had hoped for a noticeable increase in CO2 levels, I haven't seen a significant improvement. After careful consideration, I suspect that the lack of a sealed environment is hindering its effectiveness. Humidity issues prevent me from sealing the environment completely, which likely results in the CO2 being dispersed rapidly. For now, I've decided to forgo using the CO2 bags, but I'm open to revisiting them in the future if I can establish a sealed environment. Looking ahead to the start of Week 3 of the flowering stage, I plan to introduce PK boost additives to enhance potassium intake. This strategic addition aims to support robust flower development and overall yield. Despite the minor setbacks, I remain absolutely thrilled with the progress of this run. With approximately five more weeks to go, I'm eagerly anticipating the taste and aroma of the final product. I appreciate all the support and encouragement from fellow growers. Final days before the cut! I'm starving the plant, by adding no nutrients. The chlorophyll in the remaining fan leaves has substantially dropped. The glitterying trichomes are densely packed and mostly cloudy. By the beginning of next week, will be the day

Day 50: Feeding day. As planned, I raised the dosage to 4ml per liter for the 3 base compound and gave each plant 1L. They drank it all. Call me weathercock but I removed the ScrOG netting since it was more of a handicap than anything that helps. I'll continue flattening everything with LST. Everything is looking good. Day 51: Another defoliation today, removing new leaves and smaller budsites. Nothing else to read. Day 52: Video update to show the flat canopy, budsites and how I LST the highest stems and redirected them to the center of the plant to expose the most budsites to the light. Day 53: Feeding Day, still 1L each. No burned tips or anything since last time so the dosage is alright. Day 54: I woke up to 2 of my girls praying to the light god. 50cm is the sweet spot. Day 55: Nothing to read. I don't have a microscope but I'm pretty sure to see the first trichomes :) Day 56: Nothing to read.

It's week five of flowering, and everything is currently going according to plan. The buds are slowly growing bigger and becoming frosty. Once again, Barney's Farm provides top-quality seeds you can rely on.

Harvest day 64 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . 04/06/2021 (DAY 80) Esta semana se cambio la solucion y vamos a recuperar unos pequeños desajuste de ph que tuve la semana pasada. 08/06/2021 (DAY 84) Comenzamos con el lavado de raíces! Solo agua y un poco de Power Finish. La carencia de potasio se dio por un mal control o descuido del ph, no obstante lo cual las plantas evolucionan muy bien! Dicha carencia se dio en 1 planta.
