Runtz Automatic First Run

420SYL The first week is going well, a few temperature spikes in the last two days (27 °C in the tent). Humidity is between 60 and 75%. The seed planted last has caught up with the first one, and on the contrary, one of the first two is lagging behind. We'll see how it evolves! Also, I realized that the PPFD at the canopy level was a bit too high, so I adjusted it on the 7th day (180/215 µmol/m²/s or 11–13 mol/m²/day).

420SYL Slight deformation on the leaves of one of the plants, but it has recovered well, maybe due to too much light intensity or another stress. Still a plant lagging behind compared to the other two, but it's doing well, it might surprise me! Overall, they seem to be doing well. Very light nutrition, for now they are responding well, but I'm staying cautious!

420SYL Only two waterings this week, they are growing before my eyes! Started LST on the two biggest ones, I cut a few leaves that were shading the new ones. Bought a humidifier, an air extractor, and an AC Infinity carbon filter, controlled with the 69 pro. 1.15/1.20 kPa on average! It's really hot this week, so I installed an air conditioner in the room to maintain a temperature of 20/23°C in the room and 24/26°C in the tent.

420SYL Growth week/beginning of flowering for two of the autoflowering plants. The third one is still behind but looks very healthy! Added bio bloom and top max in small quantities (1ml/L). One of them is showing signs of overwatering and/or excess nitrogen. (?) I will let the substrate dry and water it without bio grow or with plain water.

420SYL Watering has been rather light this week (every two days), after overwatering and excess nutrients last week, they have bounced back very well. The last one is still lagging behind, but it's continuing to grow, so no worries! We're entering a heatwave (35/40°C) so the air conditioner is running full blast; I'm managing to keep the temperature at a maximum of 26/27 and around 24 on average. Humidity is a bit tricky to control despite the dehumidifier, averaging 57.7%, but it heats up, so I need to find the right balance. For now, everything is going well; I'm waiting to see what happens next. ☀️

420SYL Everything is going well in the grow tent, a slight nitrogen deficiency for the smallest plant but I am correcting it right now by giving it a bit of bio grow. The buds are developing quickly, the most delayed plant is showing its first signs of flowering! Two waterings with clear water this week and one watering with nutrients. Can't wait to see what happens next!

420SYL Small deficiencies for the Runtz in the smallest pot, I feel like the water stagnates longer in the pot. The phenotype is quite different from the other plant, it's very green and has a strong citrus smell unlike the other one which has purple hues and smells slightly sweet. The third plant is finally starting to flower, it's vigorous and I'm wondering which phenotype it will lean towards, the sweet purple or the citrus green?

420SYL One of the plants is not doing well, I think the small pot isn't suitable for it. I observed the trichomes under the microscope, they are starting to become quite milky with some amber ones, I'm going to harvest it in 2 weeks before its condition worsens. The other two are doing very well, one of them is starting to smell strong and is taking on an increasingly purple color. I'm staying alert because I see signs of calcium, magnesium, and potassium deficiencies. The last one is entering its third week of flowering, it's doing well!

420SYL Start of the flushing for the little plant, the trichomes are starting to turn milky so the harvest is close. The other two are doing well, the smell is incredible I can't wait to see what happens next!

420SYL The last two plants are flowering nicely, the smells are getting stronger and stronger! One smells like tropical fruit and sugar, and the other smells like lemon all the way!

420SYL Starting the flush for the purple phenotype, the trichomes are mostly milky and I'm starting to see some amber ones. The smell is strong 😋 The other plant is developing super well, the buds are swelling more and more, I'd say another two weeks! The third one has been harvested, dried for 7 days at 19/20°C, 55% humidity. Starting the curing for at least 2 weeks. The buds are very light but the smell is nice!

420SYL Continuing with the rinse and harvest of the first plant, the second one needs another 2/3 weeks I think! Placed in its drying box, 20°C and 55% humidity.

420SYL The last plant is slowly continuing its flowering, I defoliated and did some light training to expose the canopy more to the light. It’s starting to smell more and more like orange, tropical, and less and less like lemon. Quite a few milky trichomes, about 60%, so the flushing will start soon, and I’ll be harvesting in about 10 to 15 days!
