Week 1 Report: The White OG - Solo Survivor’s Journey Survivor Status: One Seedling Standing Strong 🌱 Our girl The White OG is standing tall and doing her thing! While some seeds may take their time or not make the cut, this resilient little seedling is already setting the tone. With close to 100% relative humidity (RH) under the dome, she’s got the ideal environment to kickstart her roots and early growth. Environment: Humidity Dome Life • RH: Close to 100%, creating that tropical atmosphere where seedlings thrive. Humidity at this level helps keep her cells hydrated, and with a dome, moisture is consistently recirculated. This prevents her from drying out and promotes steady root and leaf development. • Lighting: For now, we’re keeping the intensity low. At this young stage, seedlings benefit from indirect, gentle light, just enough to encourage photosynthesis without causing stress. Future of Grow LED on a dim setting (200 PPFD) does the job, providing the perfect balance for early growth. Water & Nutrition: Keeping It Simple No heavy nutrients this week; she’s working off the stored energy in her seed. The aim is to keep the soil or Root Riot cube slightly moist but not soaked. Overwatering can drown young roots, so light misting is all she needs to stay comfortable and growing strong. Growth Observations: Slow but Steady Wins the Race Our solo survivor might be growing at her own pace, but that’s exactly what we want! At this early stage, less is more, and slow growth often indicates a strong foundation. We’re looking for stable, healthy roots and tight early nodes as she finds her rhythm. Grower’s Tips for Week 1 1. Humidity Control: Keep RH high but watch for condensation build-up. Too much moisture can invite mold, so allow some airflow if needed. 2. Stay Light on Water: Just enough misting to keep the medium damp. 3. Patience Is Key: Each plant has its own pace; giving her time to establish now sets her up for a strong journey. Next Steps As we move into Week 2, I’ll be keeping an eye out for early leaves (cotyledons) opening up, as well as steady, even growth. Soon we’ll gradually adjust light intensity and start thinking about nutrients. Shoutouts to the Community! Big thanks to Seedsman for the genetics , to Future of Grow for top-notch lighting, Aptus Holland for the reliable nutrients, Trolmaster for total control and everyone in the growers’ community cheering on this solo survivor. 🌱💪 Growers Love! 🌞 and here’s to a strong start for the future of this grow! 🌱 DISCOUNT CODE - SeedsmanSeeds - DOGDOCTOR 10% off As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and so joyful with you all in my life 🙏

Week 5, plants look good, bud sites developing nicely, smell is still weak but citrusy. Decided not to add cal-mag, gonna ride it out with it. Humidity dropped to 45%.

Another successful harvest. This time it was my perfect girl, a very good strain, easy to grow, fast, and without many demands. Besides the controlled environment, it has a wonderful smell. The buds were very dense and sticky. Every time I touched the scissors, a strong smell emitted that filled my room. I really liked the result, and this will definitely be the first of many. My favorite so far! ✌️💪🌿🍁

The plant has continued the stretch this week and the first flowers and trichomes have appeared :) The weather is still very sunny and hot but the plant looks good!

This week was so mixed with the ladies and the heat issue we had this week. Cherry Bomb seemed to be the only one who didn't care that it got hot the rest have burned leaves from the heat. But they all are bouncing back and should be looking better over the next week.

Well looked at the trics and I seen about 40% ambers so I put her in dark for 2 days before I harvested her pulled her out or the dark checked the trics. again and seen zero ambers while I was confused I knew she was not ready so I had a space in my veg. Tent so I threw her in there for her last week or 2. She looks so bad as I let her dry out big time and with the ph issues I had earlier in the grow there's not a leaf on her that's not got part of it dying off. Hopefully this is last week of flower as it's week start of week 10 and I really wanna try her out although most will go to concentrates as this grow was not ideal and the frost is minimal compared to other gg4 I got flowering right now.

Week 4 At the beginning of this week she looked rather unhappy. Think I’m gonna leave off the rain water for a bit and go back to tap. I’ve ordered calmag and bio heaven so I can’t wait for these to arrive. I also removed about 12 lower bud sites and defoliate. She’s a strong plant every morning I had to keep forcing the colas down. She loves a spraying in the mornings :D She’s drinking very well. And omg the size of the stem at this age I’ve never seen this before. Toward the end of the week she went into flower. Is this right? Happy with her so far

2.2. - Seems like I'm still doing something wrong. My plants got more yellow. Watered 💧 4.2. - I've added and adjusted some wires. Also, I've decided to defoliate a bit...at least the most yellow parts. Buds are swelling and getting more frosty each day ❄️ 5.2. - Watered 💧 7.2. - I think that I am making the rookie mistake of underwatering and that's the cause of yellowing of plants closest to the LED. Let's hope it that ✌️ Watered 💧 8.2. - Week wrap-up: It seems like plants like more water. Buds are getting more fat and sugar coated each day ❄️ Also the smell got more strong and bit fruity when touching them 🍎 🍦 2.2. - 8.2.2024

Can't report too much this week because I was on vacation. The person who watered them for me made a video for me though. I've had some major issues with wasps munching my plants at night. Took a while to find out what it was, but they only seem to do that in a certain life phase. Spoiler: it's over, they stopped after 2 weeks. My purplematic never went into that typical early flower stretch. I have no idea why. But the buds are getting quite bulky and I tried to space them out as well as possible. She turned very very black and seems quite healthy. I'll give them another week on fish mix and then switch to bio grow. They seem to be doing quite well on this way of doing it and I'm having zero issues with early flower nutrient deficiency

On the first week of the blooming phase, the girl is growing unbelievably quick, she has trichomes in first week, (since the pistils appeared) so I've changed my mind and started to administer flowering nutrients in maximum strength accordingly. Unfortunately some leaves at the bottom and one in the middle, that I hadn't noticed before, are a little bit ugly, maybe the ventilation was too strong at the bottom or could be overfeeding so I'm thinking about cutting on by half. There're some red stems too, but I think there's nothing to worry about. Suggestions are very welcome! Happy growing!

🌸 Week 7 – Flower Stage: When Trouble Knocks, We Learn Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds Light: Future of Grow Black Series 600W & ThinkGrow ICL-300 Environment: 8x8 Shared Tent – Controlled by TrolMaster System Temp: 29.4°C (day) / 25.6°C (night) Humidity: 64–68% CO₂: ~720 ppm Soil Temp: 24.8°C Watering: Manual (Hand Watering) Water Mix (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml ⸻ 🌿 The Week the Storm Passed Through This week brought a little challenge to the garden — bud rot made an appearance. It’s never a welcome guest, but it’s part of the growing journey, and it teaches you more than any perfect run ever could. It started small: a couple of darker spots noticed deep inside one of the colas. Upon closer inspection, we confirmed it — Botrytis cinerea, or as growers call it, bud rot. Thankfully, it was localized and quickly handled, removing all affected material carefully to avoid spreading spores. Despite how dramatic macro photos can make it look, the loss was minimal. The rest of the canopy remains healthy, strong, and radiant under the LEDs. The girls keep thriving like the true champions they are. ⸻ 🧠 Educational Spotlight – What Is Bud Rot (and What It Isn’t) Bud rot is a fungal infection caused by Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in warm, humid, stagnant environments — the kind of microclimate that can form in thick buds during late flower. It usually begins inside the bud, invisible at first, and works its way outward, leaving behind a grayish-brown, dusty rot that can ruin entire flowers if unnoticed. Early warning signs: • Brown or gray fuzz inside the cola • Dry, dead sugar leaves sticking out of healthy buds • A musty or “old hay” smell Prevention is everything: 🌬️ Keep strong airflow through and between plants 💨 Maintain active extraction and oscillating fans 🌡️ Lower humidity to 50% or below during late flower 🌗 Avoid large night/day temperature swings ✂️ Remove excess inner foliage (selective defoliation) For a deep dive into identifying, preventing, and treating bud rot, check out Zamnesia’s excellent guide: 🔗 Zamnesia – Bud Rot: The Cannabis Grower’s Guide - https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/563-bud-rot-cannabis-grower-guide ⸻ 💬 Reflection – The Grower’s Responsibility Let’s be honest — this one’s on me. It’s a new setup, and with every new tent comes a new rhythm to learn. The temperatures are still higher than I’d like, and humidity sometimes pushes the edge. But that’s what growing is — progress through imperfection. The key is to act fast, learn faster, and never let one small setback derail the entire grow. The good news: both Super Silver Haze phenos continue to look absolutely stunning — symmetrical, resilient, and full of that legendary vigor that made this strain an icon. ⸻ 🌸 What to Expect Next As we move into Week 8, we’ll be: • Reducing humidity and increasing airflow • Keeping close watch on moisture and leaf density • Fine-tuning the TrolMaster environment controls • Allowing buds to fatten, harden, and mature into their final form We’re entering the critical ripening phase, where patience and precision make all the difference. ⸻ 🌾 Grower-to-Grower Corner – Preventing Bud Rot Since every grower faces this risk sooner or later, here are a few small habits that make a massive difference: 1. Prune with intent: Create small “air highways” between branches so moisture can escape. 2. Nighttime is key: Rot thrives in cool, humid nights. Keep fans on and air moving even when lights are off. 3. Monitor VPD: Around 1.2–1.4 kPa is ideal for mid-late flower; beyond 1.6 increases risk. 4. Inspect daily: Use your eyes and your nose — the first clue is often a smell, not a sight. 5. Clean the space: Mold spores can live in your tent, filters, and even fans. Sanitize between runs. Remember: Bud rot doesn’t mean failure; it means evolution. Every grow that survives it creates a smarter grower. ⸻ 💚 Closing Thoughts This week was a humbling reminder that even under the best light, nature still has the final say. But she also rewards those who pay attention, act fast, and grow with love. The Super Silver Haze continues to honor her legacy — strong, aromatic, and beautifully structured. Thank you to Zamnesia Seeds, Aptus Holland, Plagron, Future of Grow, ThinkGrow, and TrolMaster for helping make this journey what it is. I like to take CBD especially in the form of oil but we thought of growing some CBD autoflowering both for medical use, for cooking etc. and to send to the most anticipated contest of the year in terms of autoflowering, the annual Barcelona autoflower world cup. Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Automatic seems to be just right for us, let's see if it throws fire. Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make the plants grow well or badly without affecting the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I won't be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much spread out I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great wise holder of the truth I speak as I see it. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. (Pro mix has no perlite but is airy, we added it anyway) Plagron nutrients are available at Zamnesia in convenient pack formats for all growing styles. I used this one with a simple search you can find the other products. ---- https://www.zamnesia.io/it/12119-plagron-top-grow-box-100-naturale.html Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy... ---- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/10672-zamnesia-seeds-green-cure-cbd-f1-automatic.html Zamnesia Description // Zamnesia's breeding team has harnessed F1 genetics to bring you Green Cure CBD F1 Automatic. This autoflowering cultivar is easy to grow, accessible and reliable for all levels of experience. Ready in just 11 weeks, growers can expect impressive yields of tasty buds with a clear-headed effect that's ideal for meditative moments. Growbox and Air System - Secret Jardin DS120w + fans + exhaust fans and filters DF16 kit ---- https://www.secretjardin.com All the best that mother nature has to offer is at ----www.zamnesia.com Collaboration request: I am available for collaborations with companies of lights and various growing equipment (please no seed and nut companies) I would like to renovate my 120x120 space that has slightly outdated lights and I would like to try some controllers. If you have any proposals available.
